Came in on a Saturday night, we didn't have reservations but were greeted kindly and they were able to accommodate us and have our party of 6 seated in about 20 mins. We waited about 15 mins for someone to come and offer us menus or beverages but it seemed as though we had been forgotten. It felt like we were an inconvenience. My husband ended up calling over a waiter and asked if we could order as we had looked up the menu's online. Our waiter, George, was phenomenal! Super kind, apologetic and kept us updated throughout the night. He understood that we were not having the best experience, and was trying his best to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. I recommend coming early to secure a parking spot in the lot or scout for parking in the neighborhood close by. I was lucky enough to get the last spot in the lot. We had reservations and our tables were ready early before our time so we were able to sit there and wait for the rest of the party. The menu is pretty extensive with a good variety of cold and hot appetizers and meats. The prices were also reasonable. We opted for the dinner package, which came with choices of 3 cold appetizers, 3 hot appetizers, salad, 3 choices of meat, and rice for $55 per person plus tax and gratuity. Started with a pomegranate margarita to drink. For entrees we got mixed shawarma and kofta kebab. Finished the meal with knafe. Pomegranate Margarita- The base is strong with a refreshing pomegranate flavor. It has just the right amount of sweetness with a hint of tartness. Mixed Shawarma- It comes with chicken and beef shawarma. Both are tender and flavorful. It comes with warm pita bread, fattoush salad, and garlic and tahini sauce. The salad offers a freshness that complements the rest of the items. The sauces are perfect on the meat. Kofta Kebab- You get ground beef kebab that is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Pairs well with basmati rice and fattoush salad. You get a tasty yoghurt sauce that ties the flavors together. Knefe- This is a delicious dessert that comes with gooey cheese on a shredded phyllo base that is nice and crunchy. The restaurant is part of another walk-up fast casual restaurant with another name so you may think you went to the wrong spot but you just have to go to the back by the parking and you'll see Bei. I came here on a Saturday evening with a fairly large group split into two tables. The table I wasn't sitting with all got the five course pre-fixe menu so their food and drinks came out quickly. The table I sat at had a different server and we all ordered different things so our food came out at all different times. The place was busy but it seemed like our server was way busier than the servers at the other table. I think we waited over an hour for food. I got lentil soup, chicken shawarma wrap with fries, and a mint tea. Yalla Yalla you'll want to run over and check this place out. It is nice to have an authentic LEBANESE spot in the area! From food to decor my Lebanese GRANDMA was taken back to her roots. From the Thyme to Eat menu: I highly recommend the ZAATAR bread and CHEESE bread. I wasn't the biggest fan of the meat bread option but I think that comes down to preference. From the Bei menu: I loved the FATTOUSH salad which was beautifully presented. Very disappointing experience. There were only three parties in the restaurant, but one dish (chicken shawarma and rice) came out cold, and the other had warm kabob but completely cold fries. The food was also very bland. What really bothered me was the response when I asked what happened in the kitchen. I just wanted to understand why our food was served cold. Came here with friends for a birthday celebration. We had a belly dancer and a DJ - playing music and dancing. They have small area for dancing. Service was really bad because we didn't get our drinks that we ordered and we didn't get water that we ordered. Many of us had to ask the servers for couple of times to bring the water and utensils to eat dinner. There were about 5 or 6 appetizers in small portions and we shared the plates of chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs, and beef kebabs. Rice came with the order. It was a family style dinner and we all shared the foods that we ordered. Appetizers included some salads and vegetables dishes and fried cheese sticks. Cocktail drinks were okay but pricey. I booked a huge family dinner for Martin at Bei for his birthday -- I'd be wanting to take him here for forever because it's his favorite cuisine -- and I was so happy that it didn't disappoint! Everyone had such a great time! Loved the beautiful atmosphere -- feels very date nighty! Even with our large group, service was impeccable -- so friendly and attentive! And the food -- amazinggg! If you have a party over 6 (we were 18) they give you a select menu to choose from that guarantees you more than enough food for everyone. And my friend ordered herself the cucumber mocktail and she loved it!! We then ordered the bei kabob platter. My favorites were the chicken, ribeye kabob and the lamb chops!! Delicious. I also loved the salad and whatever sauce they put on the pita chips was amazing. The salad was well balanced with a variety of flavors and freshness. The babaganoush was SO good and all the other sauces on the platter was too. The pita served with the platter had this spicy garlic sauce inside and it was To die!!!! Sooo goooood! The food is amazing and the service is great. My wife asked about a drink that wasn't on the menu and they didn't have it but our server mixed it up for her. Lebanese style falafels are the best and this place nails it. I commented to my wife how beautiful the chicken had come out, the colors, little black charred corners and edges from the fire, golden reflection on the glaze. It is not cheap but worth every penny. My family and I (including a toddler) were seated for dinner at 7:45pm. 5 minutes later a server (with salt and pepper hair) asks to seat us outside. All he says is there is hookah starting soon indoors and we need to be seated outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we go outside, it's freezing cold. Not okay for the 3 year old. He continues to say not to worry and he'll turn the heater on for us. We told him we're didn't appreciate his poor customer service and he responds "well you can leave if you want to". When asked for his name, he wouldn't respond. Bei is a great option for authentic Lebanese food. The restaurant has an intimate, romantic vibe. Since it's on the smaller side and parking is very limited, I recommend making a reservation and arriving early. Thankfully, we were able to walk in and get seated within ~15 minutes. The restaurant offers complimentary pita chips with a sesame based dipping sauce. I've never had that at other Mediterranean restaurants, so it was a nice surprise. We tried the falafel which was pretty standard and served with tahini sauce. We really enjoyed the Bei combo platter! It was the perfect portion size to split between two people. The platter comes with lamb chops, chicken, kofta, steak, rice, salad, hummus, garlic paste, and yogurt sauce. My favorite was the steak and kofta. For dessert, we tried knafeh which is a traditional Mediterranean dessert with sweet cheese. This was my first time trying knafeh and it was unlike anything I've ever had. When we finally got our hookah after asking two separate times and getting two dishes delivered before the waiter sits there hitting my hookah for 15 minutes then says I'm good before dropping it at the table.
