They were helpful about any questions that we had before ordering. The plates range between $13-20 and they are delicious. We ordered: 1 Chicken Souvlaki (2 kebabs) Plate, 1 Greek Burger Plate, and 1 Beef & Lamb Gyros Plate, plus a fountain drink, and 2 Real Mexican Coke bottles ($4.25/ea). Everything was made to order freshly. Our order was ready in about 17 minutes. During that time my Husband waited for our order, and I walked to Baron's to grab desserts. Found this place on instagram and figured we'd give it a shot. Walked in and everybody was very friendly. It was also very clean inside. Ordered food for 6 people and it was ready in 15 minutes. I find Ladera Greek Kitchen as a good option for fresh, flavorful, and healthy meals. Gyro and their chicken skewers are my favorite proteins. You can't go wrong with a gyro pita smothered with tzatziki. with fries or a side salad. The last couple of times I ordered combo plates with gyro and chicken, rice pilaf, roasted vegetables. hummus and small pieces of pita bread. Delicious! It's a big enough serving that I always have leftovers for another meal the next day. Usually the food is consistently outstanding. For some reason the last time I ate here the meal was a little bit off, like the food served had been sitting for a while, roasted veggies were a little soggy. Really like the food here- gyro and fries are my favorite and we've had it multiple times. Also like the cafe vibe outdoor seating but we end up getting takeout more often. Let me Start off with the food, Large portion-but the gyro was stuffed with meat and OVER loaded with sauce and not that tasty especially with all the sauce! Then they give you a "side" if you want to upgrade.. the sides are huge! I couldn't finish.. IMO it was just too much, also the squash was a bit soggy. It was actually my son's favorite part of my salad besides of course my pita bread. I was in the area and was craving some gyro and wanted to try a new place to me. I chose to get their Gyro plate ($19.14) which comes with 1 side, 1 dip, pita bread, and rice pilaf. I got their hummus which was creamy and well seasoned. They also had a side of lemon potatoes which where tender and had a crispy outer skin with a strong lemony taste. Monday, 10-21-2024: Hubby & I came here for lunch after our dental appointments. We've been mostly ordering to go numerous times in the past year. The food is consistently very good and well prepared. During this visit we opted to eat inside as it was a bit warm outdoors. The eatery is bright, clean, and simply decorated with walls adorned with reminders of the food's origins---Greece. A framed Greece flag is proudly displayed. Greek grocery products are available to purchase near the front of the restaurant. My husband had his favorite the Greek Chicken Pita (11.49) and I ordered the mini plate of a Gyro Pita and fries ($9.99). Both meals were so flavorful with generous portions of protein in each. My mini plate was very filling and both were reasonably priced. The lady who took our order was very friendly and welcomed us warmly with a charming Greek accent (we surmised). First of all this place is decorated so nicely. It feels modern with a rustic charm, and it's bright and airy. It's the perfect size to fit 10 or so small groups of people. Customer service - 5 stars. So kind and welcoming. And the food is just as great as everything else. Everything is cooked to order so you'll need to wait 10 or so min but it was worth it. I got the pork sausage loukaniko in a pita, which had the perfect texture and snap to it. It was also well seasoned. Always on the lookout for new greek places to try and once we had Ladera, we keep driving back from Escondido for it. They have a great little "market" full of products straight from Greece, lots of Greek beer and sodas, and an expansive menu of Greek delicacies. The gyro is a favorite. The sausage (Loukaniko) is delicious and spiced with orange and fennel - never had that combo in a sausage before. The falafel are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tzaziki is delicious, as is their fire feta. So far, everything we've tried has been great. Service is quick and the team is always welcoming. Lots of patio seating as well as indoor dining. Lots of adorable decor (photos of donkeys, olive plant jars, etc) that make you feel like you are in a little restaurant on the isle of Santorini. The variety of desserts they offer look great, too. The food and service here is excellent. It was my first time here and the person who took my order was very patient and helpful when I asked him some questions about the menu. My friend and decided to do the combination plate where you pick a protein, side, sauce, and the plates automatically come with rice and yummy pita bread. The portions are big. It's also not busy when we went making it easier to order. You place your order, then sit down and they take the food to you which is good service. They have a good selection of foods. We ordered the mini meze and mini pitas, avgolemono soup and spanakopitas. Both minis were good, tasty, and came out hot. The spanakopita was good too and decently sized. The soup was good, but only came out warm. The server was helpful, but not really welcoming. Asked for straws because there arent any in the condiment/refreshment section and was told that they ran out. Then another employee came out and said there were still some in the back. They seem to be attentive to getting tables clean after guests use, but need to pay attention to the only trash can that was getting full to the brim. Bathrooms were clean and clean smelling. We got the gyro wrap, moussaka, dolmades, and the lemon chicken soup. Everything was great except the soup. I will get to that in a little bit. First, I was really happy to see a fast Greek food place with moussaka. I don't see that often and the moussaka here is very good. It would be better if the portion size was a little bigger. And the dolmades are the best I have had for a while. The grape leaves are very tender unlike other places where they are chewy. The pita for the wrap was nice and soft. Back to the soup.
