You should probably train your employees when putting mayonnaise and mustard or any of the sauces on the sandwiches to not blob it in the middle of the bread and spread it out. The food still taste great however the fact that they weigh out every piece of meat that they put on your sandwich is ridiculous. This place deserves 10 stars. The owner is the nicest, and the employees are just as nice. Service was lightning fast, ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the food tasted amazing. My 9 yr old son said their lettuce tasted fresh and crisp. The sub was filling, and you can tell they take pride in creating the sandwiches. Once we drove up the parking was good. It was connected to other businesses so the parking area was good. I ended up ordering the Santa Fe Sandwich with jalapeño cheddar bread. My son just wanted a Turkey & Bacon sandwich with American cheese. Both sandwiches were great and the bread was fresh. I would give this place a zero if I could, my coworker and I went on our 1hr lunch break, I ordered the Santa Fe sandwich and was told they are out of bacon if I wanted extra meat, I said fine but was disappointed as the bacon is what makes the sandwich taste better. By the time we paid and got our sandwich it took a total of 40mins. I asked if the owner was there as I just wasted my entire lunch break waiting in line and the man I asked told me he was the owner, I explained on how dissatisfied I was with the service and all he said was ok and nod as if he didn't care. I will not be returning to this location which sucks because this was one of my favorite spots. My 5 star review is mainly for the amazing customer service by Kyle. He was so helpful with the menu and was friendly to my toddler son who was fussy. As a parent, sometimes you get weird looks when your kids aren't behaving, however, here we were treated with patience and respect. You don't really come across employees like him that often so this review was a must! As far as food, I ordered a meatball and Santa Fe sandwich. Both were great and ingredients were fresh. Good stuff. One of my favorite sandwich shops. Came here on a Saturday and so did many other people. There was a bit of a wait but it's worth it in my option. I got the pepper turkey with avocado on the onion loaf. I suggest the onion loaf and get it toasted!! So good. Good selection of veggies and fresh too. I love submarina. The ones I've been to have been amazing. This location was not. Looked a little run down inside but I didn't care because I was so excited for my Santa Fe. Then I had these issues with my sandwich: Roll was about thicker and not as soft as usual (not a dealbreaker), meat tasted different than usual(weird), they put it in the toaster but it was not toasted at all(weird), I ate half and then my daughter spotted a couple dark hairs (disgusting). They are little pube like hairs (see photo). I'm not sure how much hair I ate in the first half of my sandwich. I will never go back to this location. read more

Went there yesterday and the two guys working were awesome, food was fresh and carefully made. We went in 30 mins to close and ordered 5 sandwiches and added on some sides at the end, they went out of their way to combine all of our al la carte sandwiches and sides into meals and specials to make sure we got the best deal and even offered water cups without us having to ask. I met Kyle, who made me the most magnificent Italian sandwich on French bread. He was wearing a hat that read "greatful" along the back of it. Little did I expect that motto to bleed out into his customer service. We spoke about Murrieta and the importance of taking care of each other. This was a breath of fresh air in today's society. The location itself is in a shopping plaza next to a coffee shop. Very clean and traditional for a sandwich shop, reminds me of the pizza shops we have back in Massachusetts. The owners told me after making the disgusting Santa Fe sandwich that I wanted to many ingredients never heard that one before. The owner lady is the cheapest tightest person I've ever seen her old man is right with her. Back to the sandwiches I wanted regular bacon they put on pepper bacon I asked her to change it she got pissed. She scraped all ingredients off and made a complete mess of the sandwich I asked for new bread and and she flipped out. I don't get it don't customers come first? She can't keep employees so always new kids working with her and the old dude. I'll never wast my money with them again. I just found out there are other submarinas close by that's we're I'm going.
