    Carne asada nachos.

I've always heard about D'Sotos taco shop but never knew where it was. Since we were passing through Old Town and saw it, we stopped by here to have dinner. There is no interior seating, just 3 tables outside and a drive thru. Prices are decent and the food was good. We ordered shredded beef tacos, carne asada nachos, rolled tacos, and a super quesadilla. All of the food was made fresh, hot, and delicious!! I love how they were very generous w the toppings on the Nachos and the guacamole had some chunky pieces of avocado. My daughter really enjoyed her food and suggested I give them 5 stars, I agreed. Service was good. The guy taking my order was very helpful. Great taco shop style Mexican food!!

This is fantastic Mexican food. The drive thru is super quick and they are very friendly. There is a walk up order window with outdoor tables as well.

Food: 1 Service: 1 Ambiance: 1 I really hate to do this but this was my second time here, and I still rate this place a 1 star. We were craving carne asada fries and found this place on Yelp. There was only one person in front of us in the drive thru so I was like great, we should get our food pretty quick. When we ordered, the lady wasn't very friendly but it wasn't a big deal. When we pulled up to the window, the lady working there didn't even acknowledge us (even though the service window was open). She simply asked for payment, no "hello" or anything. Pretty awkward. Even my friend commented on it. It also took a while to get our carne asada (surf and turf) fries. She did say thank you when she gave us our order and that was it for the interaction. When we got home and opened our plate of food, we were severely disappointed. 1/3 of the plate was pico de gallo. Not only that but you could definitely taste the fries were not freshly but tasted old (I can't even accurately describe it). The fries were cold and tasted really oily but cold. The plate was as not filled with fries and then we literally got very little pieces of carne asada and like 4 shrimp. I took a picture to show how much protein we got (after mixing it around to actually try to find some protein). Sorry I will not return.

This place is really tasty. They make good asada quesadillas. It's a fast serving mom and pops place. They have an outside window where you pick up your food and can order. They have tables and benches where you can eat.as well. They also have a drive thru. The price is really reasonable. Their surf and turf burrito I got was just under 11$ and the quesadilla was about 8 or 9 bucks. The only thing I didn't really like were the sauces. They actually charge 1$ extra for sour cream when I was ordering online. However, i really loved their guacamole. It was just so tasty and fresh.

It's a small drive through shack about 1 mile from old town Temecula. Got the bacon breakfast burrito without beans and light cheese, light potato. It was good but a bit too greasy for me. Liked the green salsa (on the side). The red was flavorful but too spicy for me. The bacon was thick and chewy. Proportions were perfect the way we ordered it. Friendly staff and efficient service. Very good for a Mexican style breakfast burrito.

Probably the best Mexican food in Temecula. The service was quick and they have a drive-thru, which is really nice. A little stingy with the sauces, but other than that, would definitely come back. * California burrito = $12.95 * 3 rolled tacos = $6.75 * carnitas tacos = $5.25 each

Ordered some breakfast burritos to go. Each burrito was around $11. Big in size but small in flavor. Nothing really impressive.

Because of this I've never been able to share the gloriousness that is a full seafood boil, especially a good one like Pier 88. The headless peel n' eat shrimp and crawfish, the true backbone of any decent boil, were plump and delicious. I felt kind of giddy every time I would finish one and saw how many were left. The lobster tail was a good change-of-pace and the king crab legs, admittedly not my favorite item, still managed to satisfy. I also like how they threw in so much potatoes and sausage into the mix. It was definitely super generous at what other places consider an afterthought. I thought the service was alright. They seemed to have forgotten one of my party's margaritas but that could have been more a slow bartender than an inept server. I also never got a prompt to refill my soda, which is a little more concerning. The ambiance was pretty good. There were plenty of tables and booths, and everything was spaced appropriately. You definitely don't feel like you're on top of the tables around you. They also had plenty of TV's as the World Cup was easy to watch along with. I could be happy here any time I get the craving for some shrimp and crawfish. And as long as the servers were more diligent about refills. One time I'll figure out how to get Miss Scotch herself to one of these things, dirty hands be damned. I'd say getting your hands in the muck and mire of delicious foods is half the fun. And with places like Pier 88 out there, you could be having a fun time and a full belly every day of the week.

I HAD THE BEST FISH OF MY LIFE HERE!…read more The photo might not do it justice, but holy moly - I seriously had a life changing moment eating the striped bass here. It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

I was unimpressed by this place. I came here from san diego bc of all the pictures of good food!…read more Especially the octopus! Its too bad I came for brunch. Brunch lasts until 2pm and then from 2pm to 245pm they serve only appetizers. Lmao. Thats certainly interesting. Aesthetically this place is gorgeous. I love that they are dog friendly and it wasnt too hot today at the patio. I got the bloody mary to start and it was pretty good. The bacon in it was amazing, however, it didnt taste like 2 shots. The drink was thick but the flavor was still good. I got avocado toast with smoked salmon. This very small meal was 20$. I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try
