Came in at about 530 pm after a wine day, should've known when it was empty. We asked our server what she eats and she said the fries and bread, another sign. Well we heard such wonderful things about the garlic noodles we ordered them and added shrimp and chicken. We got the catfish with fries and spicy edamame. The noodles were very dry and lacked the garlic flavor, they tasted like plain spaghetti noodles. The catfish was overcooked. The fries were delicious. This is always one of my favorite spots around time when I need my crab fix especially. The service is always good and the food is awesome. I wish I had taken more pictures of the food before we wrecked it but I get excited. We had a pound of shrimp and crab with some potatoes and corn too. It's not a huge place but it's usually busy when I go, we got lucky today. I'm an animal so we went in bare handed and enjoyed every moment. My daughter decided to pick this place to eat. We arrived and surprisingly.......no other customers were present. The interior looked nice, enough space for a group of friends / family, and clean. The service was good but I'm basing it off of us initially being the only ones in there. The price of the food was legit and the amount of food was really good, surprisingly as well. If you haven't been to a place like this, do not wear something white. They do provide a plastic bib and plastic gloves (which you will need). You can actually eat messy and it's perfectly ok. My husband ordered the clams & mussels full house mild with rice. Personally I did not like their sauce, the spice was there which was nice; however there was a sweetness about the sauce that I really did not like. It didn't taste Cajun like a seafood boil should. So for me that was very off putting. The clam chowder came out boiling hot , I couldn't eat for a few good minutes. When I did get the eat it, it was just okay. Kind of bland. My husband and I ate here yesterday. Their sauces were okay. We got the Cajun and a side of lemon pepper. They were both tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. We got 2 Ponds of crab and half a point of jumbo crab. They don't do half pound orders on the headless shrimp. Why not though? Because we get more shrimp when it's headless and you'll make less money? We also ordered the beignets. They were good but they didn't have any sauce for it. Whenever we get beignets from anywhere else it usually comes with chocolate sauce or a raspberry sauce and without it, the beignets weren't that great. It was just fried bread topped with powdered sugar. I also got some shaved ice. I tried to order the strawberry shaved ice with strawberries, mochi and condensed milk but wanted to change the shaved ice flavor from strawberry to the milk flavored shaved ice but they didn't have that flavor. I asked if I could get the green tea flavored shaved ice with the toppings that came with the strawberry one but they said they couldn't do that. They said if I were going to get the strawberry toppings I had to get the strawberry shaved ice with it which didn't make any sense to me because they had a "create your own" option. I would've gladly paid the extra 50 cents to get a different flavor of shaved ice. Then when I went to try my dessert, the strawberries were frozen hard! Not good at all. None of the TV's were on, most of their chairs had a little bump on the left side of the cushion that made sitting on them uncomfortable and it was freezing cold inside. Agree with other review--FOOD POISONING. I got take-out from here three times (the seating area isn't particularly inviting). I've had the green lip mussels (consistently good), shrimp with head-on (so over cooked you can squeeze the meat out of the shell like a paste), potatoes (also over cooked and falling apart), sausage, and clams (some were broken, some sealed shut). I get the sense that the items are cooked separately, perhaps even well in advance, then tossed together with sauce when ordered. That being said, the sauces are all very flavorful and you can choose your spice level. The restaurant is a great concept, the staff are all lovely, and I get the sense this is a family owned business. But this last order gave my family such severe food poisoning that I feel it necessary to inform others of the potential risk in eating here. read more

Bought some snow crab and shrimp and crawfish! Disgusting! Shrimp was so mooshy! The Snow Crab was fishy and old when cracked open kinda black/dark color and Crawfish was just not good. The sauce was not the best I've had way better. Took food back and they gave a partial credit because we ate our corn and some potatoes and tried like 5 or 6 of the crawfish. 72.00 for the meal they returned 54.00 dollars. She said new owners and we ate too many of the crawfish to get a full refund. how we gonna know the food is subpar unless you try them? But oh well. We were so full that we had to bring the mango ice shave dessert home. The dessert is a must try! Overall, I would try this place again. I just wish that they offer more combination (e.g. half pound of clams, mussels) and the corn should automatically be part of it as I think it will make the sauce taste even better (sweeter). The shrimp was overcooked, and the lobster tail was undercooked. The cajun sauce medium was very bland. Sad thing is, the best-tasting item in the bag, was the sausage. We also ordered King Crab legs and Sausage with Cajun sauce mild and there was no difference between the two cajun sauces, mild or medium. Had a side of Garlic noodles, we used to love the garlic noodles. Not anymore, they tasted like they were doused in butter and mixed with garlic salt. Unfortunately, this will be our last trip to this restaurant. This was our go-to for seafood when the pandemic was in full swing. We would order from here every payday. I really hate to put down a local business but I've come here too many times with consistent terrible service and bad food. I tried to give the place a chance many many times but I've come to terms. The service is extremely slow. I'm not sure if there are new owners or these are the originals, but they need to hire help. My qualms about the food is that 8/10 times the shrimp is pasty or overcooked. The meat is malnourished and pitiful. However I think the flavor of the boil is good. As far as the drinks, well for some stinking reason they never have chardonnay. They had a dessert menu but their machine was always broken or they weren't serving it. I suppose they finally got rid of the dessert menu altogether. Since I make a mean boil, I'll just make it at home rather than go out. Generous portion of garlic noodles, juicy shrimp with flavorful sauce (a little less garlic and butter compared to Boiling Crab but I prefer that, so it was easier to eat more shrimp, lol), and yummy fresh beignets that are almost as good as what you can get in New Orleans.
