Everything here is shrinking and I never see the owner here anymore. The kid that works here is okay but he's a little incompetent like most people under the age of 25 these days. The thing that irritates me the most is that I'm buying a bowl for $15 and now it's turned into a 6-in by three inch rectangle that's enough for a small child to eat. Why would you call it a bowl if you now shrink it into this tiny little container?? They never refill the carrots they're always mopping like an hour early which indicates to you that they're just not interested in taking more orders as they look semi annoyed that you're there. I don't like paying $15 or something that looks like a small child's meal that's ridiculous. The food is good here and the portions are large. From what it looks like there was only two employees. One was doing cooking in the back and there was someone at the register doing all the front end work. I had a birria burrito and ordered the rice and beans that usually come inside the burrito to be on the side. Everything was very tasty. We also ordered a California burrito with al pastor and the flavor was over the top good. Prices are a little high but because everything was just so very tasty and the portion sizes were big I think the prices are on point. It would be awesome if they had a little bit larger to-go boxes so that everything could fit into one box. We plan on coming back and trying a lot of other items on the menu. read more

Some places here in temecula CHARGE 4$ to add consume soup. Their cosume was nice and oily but NO flavor! Seems to be the trend of this place. So for this they get 3 stars. My first time trying this place. I ordered takeout. I got the chicken salad and a side of fries. The salad was delicious, and I could tell all of the ingredients were fresh. The dressing was delicious and the helping was huge. The fries were piping hot and delicious, generous portion as well. They also gave me plenty of salsa and ketchup on the side with utensils. So you can be inside or outside! Now the food part.: I order the Burria burrito. Honestly i must say I was disappointed about it. It states that it was braised beef birria. Yeah it had braised meat but it was not birria. The meat was nice and tender but had no flavor. It was plain meat and gave me consome but that is not a birria burrito. A must stop if you're in Temecula! The service was absolutely amazing from the great recommendations to the attentiveness in making sure everything was to our liking. Now the food... The carne asada was juicy and perfectly cooked. We ordered the loaded fries, and wow they were truly loaded with meat! We also tried the taco enchilada plate as a sampler, and the enchilada sauce was to die for. I literally scooped up every last bit with my quesadilla. They offer several house made sauces with different spice levels, and all of them were delicious. Each of us had a different favorite, so definitely sample them all before choosing. The quesadilla was great too, but if you're deciding, I highly recommend the loaded fries and the taco enchilada plate both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Lastly, we got the horchata, and it was excellent perfectly flavored and not watered down at all. I live in San Francisco. We visit Temecula for golf (Journey GC and Temecula Creek GC) and gambling (Pechanga) at least 3 times a year. Our car is on automatic pilot to Baja's Catch Fresh Grill for the most (really the most) satisfying breaded fish tacos after our round of golf. The fish tacos are so light that I could probably inhale 6 of them, but I don't. Thinking of the waistline. Instead, I get the guacamole that is super addictive with their homemade chips as my appetizer and 3 tacos... and of course churros to complete the meal. After perusing the menu's abundance of options, I went for the Maji burrito with an add-in of fries (I am a SUCKER for a Cali-style burrito) and my friend went with the surf and turf burrito. We took a seat in the spacious dining area and awaited our orders, as we sipped on our large agua de jamaica. Within a few minutes, our burritos were delivered to our table along with three squeeze bottles of housemade salsa. TIME TO DIG IN. Firstly, the burritos we had were BIG - which is what fellow-burrito enthusiasts love to see! CHOW TIME! The innards of the burrito were absolutely delicious! The fish was hot and perfectly grilled, the beans were tasty, the fries added a perfect crunch, and the pico was fresh. All the above in combination with the red salsa was SO GOSH-DIGGITY-DARN-GOOD. The lovely flavors were the sole reason why I scarfed down the entire burrito, instead of saving half of it for later. The refreshing agua de jamaica made for the perfect drink companion and is something that I find myself thinking about often, when I'm in need for a thirst-quenching beverage. I will definitely be coming back to Bajas Catch Fresh Grill to try out more menu items and experience more of the flavors they have to offer.
