Excellent service, and the food was even better! Bartender New Years Day close to closing was excellent, and helpful. Thank you to all! Happy 2026 and continued success!

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend the dragon roll and the Horchata colada nothing compares to it. The vibe in this restaurant is so cool. It's a must do.

The food came out quick, we were able to sit down right away and the queso birra tacos are super delish. Jamie our server was great. Very friendly and accompanied, didn't notice it the last time i was here but glad i saw the sign this time around.

Loaded carne fries (added side of guac)

A very meh spot. Food was pretty good. We were lucky enough to stop in while it was still happy hour on Friday and got some of their specials. The quesabirria tacos were pretty yummy. The loaded asada fries were ok. Not crispy enough and they use an aioli to make up flavor. We didn't have enough chips for the guac, even though we put some of it on everything else we ordered. The salsa we got was almost devoid of any flavor and ZERO spice. When we asked for a spicier salsa, they said yes they had it and NEVER brought any. Asked 2 separate employees and it never came. Margarita flight was super sugary and didn't even give a solid buzz. I like the location and might give it another shot since nothing was bad, but this wasn't a great first impression.

Great spot! First time here. We brought our small dog and the upstairs patio was perfect. Our pup had a great view of the street and the breeze that went through the whole patio felt perfect. The service was excellent, and my server let me order something off the lunch menu even thought it was brunch only at that time. My husband and his friend got the buffet and I ordered guacamole and the taquitos. Everything was very yummy. Parking is hard to find on the weekends but we were able to snag a spot in the back.

Food

Thankful for the staff for treating our party amazingly! Amazing food, Service and hospitality!

If the weather permits, opt to sit outside, it's a great view from the second floor! The drinks and food are simply delicious! So flavorful!

Kalaveras is a SoCal chain, which serves some very tasty south of the border inspired comfort food. It also has a light Muerto de los muertos motif going for it inside. The three of us came here one evening, before a play at the nearby Temecula Community Theatre (Legally Blond). Kalaveras has a Happy Hour (HH) from 4 to 7 on weeknights and we sat back a relaxed, just enjoying some of their more popular items. We each started with a mixed tequila drink and some shared appetizers of HH Nachos, and Queso Fundido. For entrées, we just kept going with some light menu items of Cali Asada Fries, Quesabirra Tacos and a Kali Burrito. We thought the food was pretty good and the HH sizes were pretty generous. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and came away pleased. Expect to pay about thirty-five bucks each or so before gratuities during HH and depending upon how thirsty you are. LOL

Taco Tuesday can be a hit or miss, but when it's a hit, it is absolutely incredible. Service is nice and quick. Cool ambience. Fresh food.

We popped in a bit early and it was happy hour time. Although the happy hour menu was not really offered to us until we asked- the happy hour selection is very limited, but the specialty drink of the night was a good change up on regular offerings on happy hour. The happy hour drink was $10.00. As it was so early, just opened on a weekday, we were at the bar all by ourselves. The bar was a bit bright at this time--I think it was so bright as the employees were busy restocking. I have heard during prime time the place is more darkly lit and super busy. Despite the brightness it was fun to marvel at all the cool decors. This place has tons of decorations. Parking can be found on the street. The parking is metered. During prime-time downtown can be challenging to park. Worth a visit just to marvel at the decorations.

We ordered a bunch to share--pizza, burgers, shishito peppers, pesto pasta, and goat cheese toast--all of which were delish. That said, there were a few downsides. At one point, the server forgot to put in my order, which was fine since we were all full, but it was a bit funny waiting for a burger that wasn't even in the system. We were excited to hear the band, but with some tech difficulties and having been there over an hour, we decided it was time to head out. Overall, it's a good place with great vibes, good food, and wonderful service. Definitely a spot I'd return to for a relaxed night out.

We still come here for brunch occasionally & taco Tuesdays when they have them (currently not happening). Seating is pretty open & outdoor patio is very nice on a warm day. The restaurant doubles as a club on weekends with a dj. They also offer events during the week at times like a sip & paint or karaoke you just need to check the website to find out what & when. Staff is super friendly & since they are known to get busy at times we have learned to be very patient when this occurs... we know that tge servers are well worth the wait! My favorite dish here is the avocado toast or the tomato addiction appetizer. During Christmas they have really tasty cocktails & decorations to make it feel festive/cozy. Downside is the restrooms: only 2 both co Ed & they often smell. So I often wait until we go somewhere else to potty.

The vibe is nice--nothing too fancy, but definitely not too casual either. The food was really good. It had that fancy look to it and awesome flavors. We tried the seafood pasta and a big burger. The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. Should we really be able to see a plunger and a dirty toilet brush while washing our hands? Service-wise, our waitress was nice, but overall it was slow. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
