Twice now I've ordered a carne asada burrito and add sour cream. That's it nothing else. Get home and both times no sour cream. I mean is it that hard to read the order receipt! People wonder why Temecula food scene is bad. Done tipping on food orders when I have to stand at the counter. read more

Saw another person's review that said this was the place to be and to get up and go and boyyyy were they right! The cashier, Jasmine, was top notch! She was helpful and over the top courteous! The food was on point! Came out quickly and was all things delicious. I went for the breakfast burrito but when I saw they had quesabirria tacos I had to try one. I'm both glad and sad that I did. I'm giving this rating merely on the food experience. The owner and staff are all super nice and friendly, I do like their salsa, ceviche, breakfast burrito. However I got their beef chimichanga, it was a bit oily (the beef), tough, and there wasn't really anything else in the burrito which is a bit disappointing (pure meat is a bit intense vs mixed w rice etc). My partner also didn't love it much. I don't recommend that. Maybe will try smth else next time. Their chips are pre seasoned and are a bit too salty in my opinion but I do like their salsa. Would come back for their breakfast chorizo burrito but wouldn't come back here as a first option as I been around and tasting all different kind of Mexican food. Took me way too long to try Famila!! The rolled tacos are the best I've EVER had!! Yes I said it! Full of shredded beef. The hard shell taco and the chile verde were excellent as well. The service provided by Jouzian was excellent. She had a great smile and confirmed with the owner if she wasn't sure. The owner mentioned that he makes the rolled tacos by hand. Love that I never get fatty chewy gristles in the meat like some places. Their salsas are the bomb. Both the mild & spicy are both so good so I always ask for all 4. The spicy, not too crazy spicy. Called in for a pick up order. The woman on the phone was super friendly and made sure to repeat my order back to me and gave me an accurate pick up time. I like how she was able and happy to share what was in certain items and accommodated any changes like guac on the side. I ordered a shredded beef chimi plate and the 5 tolled tacos plate. I split between chicken and beef. I wanted to chili replenish plate but she said they didn't make any that day. I will have to go back and try it. The food was tasty and had a good portion, in my opinion. The guac they gave me on the side was big! I also thought the salsas were very good. I should have asked for more. I do think the guac had a weird tang to it like they used synthetic lime juice instead of fresh. I also thought the beans were a little tangy, but I liked the consistency. I thought the rice and shredded beef was really good. The chicken was a bit dry in my opinion, but that happens when you fry taquitos. When I picked up, the place was clean and inviting. Both were good, but the beef were our favorite of the two. They are loaded with meat and topped with guacamole and cheese...yummy. We had chips and salsa to start with 3 different salsas. This small, family-owned taco shop is amazing!! It's not getting the love & traffic it deserves!!Conveniently located behind Shell gas station on Ynez Rd. The food is really good and that bomb jalapeno sauce is amazing!! It is actually hot and that's how I like my salsa, on fire!! My favorite thing to order is the Carne asada plate. The plating itself is already appetizing. They put grilled onions and grilled chillies on top of the Carne asada. I love that they don't put lard in their beans.
