I used to love coming here when I came to visit Murrieta but now it's been like three visits in a row, and I asked them to make the french fries crispy in the burrito and all three times it's been extra soggy, I don't understand why this keeps happening, but I won't be back anymore

    Surf n Turf burrito

I know times are tough right now but come on! Looks like your cook just smeared a measly portion of meat, rice, barely cheese and 4 pieces of shrimp on a giant flour tortilla. I didn't order a surf n turf burrito so I could eat nothing but a damn flour tortilla! What a disappointment! Not only that, I drove from out of town to order from your restaurant. I've eaten from here many times before and never experienced an issues like this before. What a rip. I guess never again.

This is a small chain restaurant that has elements of being a sole proprietorship and of being a small chain. As you can see from my interior pics, the windows are plastered with hand-drawn advertisements and yet the ordering area is reminiscent of a small chain. I liked the standalone hot sauce station and fresh veggies, see pic (again with the hand written signage). Yet they have a professional sign noting their business roots and approach, see pic. The staff was quick and friendly. We shared the Carne Asada Tostada and the Beef Taco. When you look at my pic of the Carne Asada Tostada it's hard to imagine that there is a tostada under there. Not only that, BUT its sturdy enough to hold all of that food. It had all the items you thought it should have: it was all fresh and the carne asada was plentiful, tender and seasoned well. I'd have this again. The Beef Taco was also amply sized. A notable touch was that the taco was held upright with a dollop of refried beans and lettuce behind it. This was a nice little "salad" that went along with the solo taco. The shell was fairly crisp and also held up well. As you can see from my pic everything was fresh. These 2 items, I'm sure were long on calories, but also long on flavor and size.

I catered Cotijas for a 60th birthday party for 26 people. I ordered the half sheet of Asada, Pollo, beans and Rice. I had lots of compliments on the food. One said the beef was seasoned just right. The chicken was moist And the beans were really good. I went with Cotijas because they were reasonable. There was so much food left over!

I will give it two stars only because we didn't try much. With that being said, the lack of flavor in both dishes leads me to believe it will continue to the rest of the menu. I probably won't go back for a coupon reasons. 1. It is a fast food joint and 2. We are in Southern California, having sub par Mexican food is not a good look. There are many other places that are cheaper and better. Price: $16 paying $4 for that beef taco was disappointing. I have spent good money on tacos if they are delicious. But this wasn't it. Taste: 4/10. Try chicken, dry shredded beef, just overall bland.

The best street tacos in town! The best time to experience these delicious tacos would be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

It was pretty bad. Got a burrito and felt like everything was of poor quality. Don't recommend unless you're desperate

You could tell it had been simmered properly; every spoonful had layers of flavor instead of just spice. The meat was tender and plentiful, the hominy cooked just right, and the fresh cabbage, onion, cilantro, and lime brought everything together perfectly. Adding the salsas took it from great to unforgettable--each one added its own kick without overpowering the soup. This is the kind of pozole that warms you up, fills you up, and makes you slow down because you don't want it to end. Simple, authentic, and done right. I'd come back for this alone.

Hubby always has nachos- so of course he had the carnitas nachos. I had a pollo tostada and a carnitas sope. Conclusion: nice, clean fast casual restaurant, lovely people and fresh tasting food. Nachos were served in a huge mound with big pieces of juicy pork, beans, cheese and guacamole. My pollo tostada was lightly fried and packed with lots of chicken, lettuce, tomato and cheese and the sope had the same accompaniments and juicy pork. I think I preferred the tostada over the sope ( because of the base) but that's my personal preference. Will definitely add this little shop in to our taco rotation!!
