What I ordered vs what I got Very disappointed with my experience at Firehouse Subs in Temecula. I ordered the Thanksgiving Sub and was expecting a good amount of turkey and cranberry, but there was hardly any turkey and the cranberry was almost nonexistent. The sandwich was mostly soggy stuffing, which made it unpleasant to eat. At $8.69, for a small sandwich I definitely didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Unfortunately, it didn't taste very good either. I would not recommend this sandwich or this location based on my experience. I expected much more for the price. read more

Our visit to this Firehouse was mixed. One of our sandwiches was good, the other m'eh at best. The Soda machine was 1/2 working... no syrup and too much seltzer. The facilities were is a need of some cleaning, or at least an air freshener. But the restaurant was immaculate. Everything was spiffy. And the two employees, went out of their way to compensate... offering cookies and bottled soda and perfusively apologizing. So it's worth another try at some point. But not for a while read more

I have to give this restaurant some props for being really nice to me when I showed up 20 mins before closing. The servers looked like they were putting everything away right as we showed up. So I'm really thankful they were nice to us! The sandwiches are good! I still think other sandwiches restaurants are better but Firehouse is not bad at all! It was a bum they ran out of tuna, so I just went for a classic sandwich. It was good and I like they give you a pickle on the side. First time at the Temecula store only because OUR Firehouse in Menifee closed. BIG BUMMER! People there were very nice. We talked about Menifee and she said it will be opening again. BRAVO! I disputed this charge with AMEX since I could not get anyone to answer the phone, but now you have disputed my complaint with AMEX and they have denied my claim. This is unacceptable. Inside you can only order on a kiosk now and no you can use your rewards on it. The one worker was only nice enough to say hi, but beyond that you are ignored. The other worker rudely informed me I could not use my rewards on the kiosk when I finally got her attention to ask. So if you go there order online hopefully they'll have what you want, or use the kiosk if you don't want to use rewards. However the rudeness of the one girl was why I walked out. read more

My husband and I love going to Firehouse Subs. They're one of our favorite sandwich shops to visit. We always feel welcomed and that sauce bar is the best idea ever! I'm a huge fan of mixing Backdraft and Pineapple Florida Man sauces on my sandwich. The only thing we can really complain about is that they never seem to have my chips there. This evening I purchased a roast beef sub with lettuce, tomato, onion & a about a gallon of a liquid salad dressing type vinegar & oil mixture. I came in around 3:30 PM on a Saturday for the first time to use a coupon for a free sub if your name starts with the letter "B". there were two young men working, but the blonde one specifically helped me. after I told him I had never been there he explained the menu and gave me a lot of information which helped me. he was very nice and it was really refreshing to have good customer service. it was nice and clean inside and only one other customer was sitting inside enjoying his meal. So I went to the one in Temecula yesterday at 4:00 specifically to get the Thanksgiving sub, the employee told me they were sold out. Ok, this happened last year too. So today I went at 12:00 to make sure they weren't gonna be sold out. A different employee told me they discontinued this sandwich 2 weeks ago!!!! Are you kidding me?! It's not even Thanksgiving yet!!!! And why didn't the employee yesterday tell me that so I didn't drive all the way back there (in the pouring rain) to find this out today? Not happy. read more

been to firehouse before always had a good experience. but for some reason today they were struggling. i ordered 1 sandwich Medium. and waited 22 minutes after i paid. i walked to the counter to ask how much longer and the girl said another 5-10 minutes. how does a sandwich take 30 minutes to make. i should add when i walked in the other 2 tables already had their sandwiches. so making my food shouldn't ever take that long. while i was waiting my 22 minutes looking around the place its just gross. trash all over the drink area and the floor doesnt look like its been swept for a week. i didnt even end up leaving with a sandwich because i had to make it to work on time. this was 3:45 pm friday. i will never be returning except coming to get a refund. just such an awful experience. the manager should hire employees that dont suck. They refuse to honor their online deal at Christmas time. I fought traffic for 40 minutes through mall. Traffic close to Christmas to get there and they refused to take the order. Our first time in here. My hubs is a retired firefighter and always wanted to try it. The decor is very cute, the sandwich we ordered however disappointed. We got the largest "hero" and split it. It was very difficult to eat as it was so soggy from overdoing the mayo. It is filled substantially with meat, a good thing, but it surprised us that the meats were warm. Not cold like from a deli. Not used to that in subs. It had beef, ham, and something else. Lots of lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickle, etc. I would suggest leaving off the mayo or just having mustard. They do have salads so if I ever come back that is what we will try. read more

We came here for the first time today after shopping for a mattress next door. They have a special where you can get a mini sandwich and a small side. I got the engineer with no mayo along with the chili. My hubby got the bbq brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. The chili was good - it made me think of the chili at Culver's in other states. I would have liked it more with crackers. I didn't know my sandwich was going to be hot. It was okay but I think I would have preferred it cold. Hubby liked the mac and cheese. His sandwich had very little bbq sauce and the meat looked more like pastrami than brisket, but I think he liked it. It took a while to get our food. In the future I would probably order online and go pick it up. I like how on the website you can highly customize each item. We'll be back! read more

This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs. I signed up for their rewards program and chose a steak and cheese for my birthday offer. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was better than I was expecting! I really liked the ratio of bread to meat. I also liked that it was steamed so the roll was soft, not dry. I took it home and ate it an hour later. To my surprise it was still delicious and not soggy. The main reason I enjoyed today's visit was because of the workers, Dakota and Eddie. They were helpful, engaging and so kind! I left with a smile on my face. The next time I come back I'll try something different. The only issue I had is it was difficult to find. Now I know to Park at Corner Bakery and look to the left. Update: Just ate the brownie and it was out of this world! I'll definitely order that again! read more

Ordered 3 subs for pickup. Got to the restaurant a couple of minutes after the time the app said the the order would be ready. Walked in and walked up to the pick up rack. The order wasn't there. So went to the restroom. No one acknowledged me. Came out of the bathroom and waited at the pick up rack. The girl and guy that were working were still talking to each other and not acknowledging customers. The girl then asked what the name of my order was. Told her and she said she was working on it. We had ordered 2 Hook & Ladders which were fine. The Streamer sandwich was missing cheese for some reason & didn't have very much deli mustard, mayo or Italian dressing on it. What's bothersome is they charge so much if you add items and were minimal on what was included and no cheese. We've eaten at the location in Oceanside that is a lot busier without an issue. Oh and almost forgot, the bathroom looked like it hadn't checked on for a while. The paper towel roll was on the back of the toilet instead of in the dispensary which was working. Hopefully they will be more friendly and the restaurant cleaner when/if we go back. And no missing ingredients. read more

I expected so much more from the commercials that I saw on fire house subs. What you do get is good as far as sandwich ingredients. There are just not enough of them in the large. The ends of my bread were empty of filling. I was looking for a very overstuffed sandwich. Additionally the bread is too soft.
