Sandwiches are so worth the wait! Came in for a T mobile Tuesday deal for a free medium Italian sub. I got all the fixings and dressings and it was well worth the flavors. Bread was soft and fresh and the ingredients as well. Took a little long to make it but I was in no rush. If I would've paid it would of been about $10 bucks. Facility was clean and there is plenty of parking out front. Staff were nice as well. read more

Temecula location is BAD! We eat at Firehouse Subs due to their FANTASTIC gluten free bread. Under two weeks ago we stop in to enjoy a gluten free sandwich but when we ordered they said they were out of gluten free bread (so we went to Jersey Mikes). Today we thought we would try it again, I specifically asked, "do you have gluten free bread today?" They said yes, took our order and our money (gluten free bread is $2.00 more). Several minutes later they called me up to the counter and said they don't have gluten free bread. They offered us another type of bread (it's an allergy so no, that won't work) only option, make it into a salad...we didn't come for a salad but what do you do. The salad was tiny with very little meat. NO refund for the up charge to gluten free bread!! Other locations are fantastic - NOT Temecula!! read more

Rough experience at this location. Ordered online for pick up. When I arrived, the young man working was not friendly and did not seem like he had any enjoyment in his job. When I got my order, he forgot to give us the soda cup and cookie that came with my son's order. When I got the cup, the syrup was out on many of the sodas. I returned home to eat and found the order was made incorrectly. My kids grilled cheese was made on a wheat roll when the mobile order photo clearly shows sliced bread. Thank god my picky son ate it. Also my sandwich had items on it that were supposed to be on the side. The big thing for me is I asked for no pickles and he placed a pickle directly on top of the sandwich. This caused my entire sandwich to be inedible. The order tape that the employee goes off of happened to be in the bag. It clearly stated what my order should have been and he obviously chose not to read it. This is a perfect example of a business hiring employees who don't care about their job or the quality of their work. I'm a fan of their sandwiches but I guess now I have to go though the process of checking every order I make there. read more

For "hot" sandwiches in the Temecula area I have decided to give Firehouse Subs the 5 star rating. As for "cold" sandwiches Submarina still retains that honor. I had eaten for the first time at a Firehouse Subs last month in Yuma, AZ. I was so impressed that I told my wife about it and she wanted to try it for herself. So, off we went to this franchise in Temecula. I ordered what I had in Yuma, an Italian Sub, to see if it was an anomaly or what have not. The wife ordered their Hero Sub. The subs were ready in a timely manner (I cracked up when I saw this page's question regarding being butt hurt over a 10 minute wait - WTF). Without any prodding the wife spontaneously stated, at least three times, how much she liked her sandwich. She's hard to please sometimes, so I knew she was serious. My Italian Sub was just as good as the one I slobbered all over in Yuma. Whatever they do behind that counter, dressing up these subs, is truly unknown to me; but keep it up! There was plenty of meat loaded into our sandwiches, no doubt. So, needless to say, we were both very happy with the service and subs and will be back when in the mood for a "hot" (toasted bun) sandwich. You might pay a couple bucks more for your sandwich here, but it was worth it to us. The 'large' is large and very filling, so be wise deciding what size sub you want. I read reviews with a grain of salt most of the time, especially the 1 star reviews (I've made a few myself). It kills me how many people whine about the delivery of their sandwiches (or whatever), while using one of the delivery services (Grubhub, Uber Eats, whom ever) with their main complaint being how long it took to arrive or their food was "cold" when they received it. WTF? Your critique, 9 out of 10 times, should be directed at that delivery service that YOU chose to bring your food to you, not the business making your damn food. I really love Firehouse Subs over Subway (Sloppyway) and Jersey Mike's (Worthy Mikes). But as I make fun of those, this location is slowly getting into the same issues as I find in those. Restrooms-not stocked, tables not cleaned and condiments are trashy, etc.! I added some pictures of what I mean. Think about this FireHouse, I can make a sandwich at home for less but I go to your establishment to be served and enjoy the atmosphere. When you lose those, you will lose business. Customer service is par (hanging on sub-par) and the atmosphere is okay. It use to be better when you first opened this store. I hope I won't have to make up a silly name for you and not frequent your restaurant due to faulty staff and management. We will see!! read more

Visited here again last night a now have to leave a sad review. Can't order sandwiches we wanted they were out of everything. Ordered sandwiches we hadn't had before, and it was terrible! Not much for meat. Bread was so dry it required a drink after almost every bite! Might try here again at another date, but it'll be a while to get over this terrible experience! I just went here for the first time because I had a coupon and I tried the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sandwich and oh my gosh it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They have ZERO clue what's going on and it's FILTHY behind the counter where they're making the sandwiches. I wish we had a good in Temecula because I enjoy thier sandwiches. Boyfriend ordered us subs through Doordash. He ordered his with extra bbq, no mayo. When the subs arrived, his sub was incorrect. No huge deal, we drove over to get him a new one. When we walked in, the girl at the counter was nice. But the girl, who we assume made the subs. Rolled her eyes, heavily sighed, and walked away. Subs are a hit or miss. But maybe teach your employees to keep to attitude away from customers. At least wait till you're in the cooler or BOH. read more

The "small" sandwich is approx 4" and the "medium" is $8, wish I'd known that in advance as they don't mention that online (we ordered pickup online). And I also ordered a brownie for $2 which they were out of & they informed my bf upon pickup that they were out & subbed a cookie instead. It was a small cookie that wasn't worth more that .99¢...I appreciate the effort, I guess, but what I would've preferred was just my $2 back because I didn't want a cookie. Delivery took forever but that's not on the driver- we received a message that the driver was there waiting for the order to be made, 30 min after we placed initial order. Sandwiches were meh- we both ordered hot subs, but questioned if we accidentally requested them cold. No toast or warmness, aside from melted cheese. We wanted to get something to share and this was close to our location, so we settled on Firehouse. This is my first experience and it definitely will be my last. I waited with no one in line for about 5 minutes before I was asked my order. it didn't seem that busy even if they had online orders coming in. My order was taken. I was asked for pickle on the side. Yes please. We proceeded to wait 20 minutes for our order which is okay if they are taking time to make a quality sandwich. I asked for extra napkins. That was questioned? My order was a large sandwich, but the bag was very light. Sadly, no pickle, soggy bread, okay meat, cheese, and nothing else. I went in there last night just before closing, and I talk to the manager I was picking up an order for my customer and they didn't have an order ready for me so Leah the night manager said that she would make the order anyway. While the service was nice and I like the idea behind Firehouse, the sandwiches are just not great. The quality not very good, the salad really just a bowl of toppings, very lackluster. Prices are also too high for the quality and portions that you get, honestly I prefer Subway or paying a few dollars more and getting a sandwich of better quality. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is because maybe I chose the wrong sandwich. But my chicken verde (cold) sandwich was just ok. Nothing too special about it. But then again it was on their 500 calorie menu. I did have a bite of their Italian sandwich and the flavors in that sandwich were delicious!!! But I couldn't fathom eating over a 1000 calorie sub. A combo here will cost you about $11, but that's pretty much typical now I guess. I came in about 3 PM and was the only one inside, so I can't speak for how busy it gets during lunch time... but this place has been trending lately, so I'd be prepared to wait if you come around noon. read more

My brother and I went in for dinner tonight and right off the bat we were given dirty looks by the woman behind the counter. There was no music playing and we were met with dead stares while there was still an hour till close. While ordering the woman was very short and quiet with us. When our food was ready she announced in a very rude tone in an empty restaurant that "your food is done." Very off putting services makes me not want to return to this location. When we got home my brother had marinara all over his "cold" sandwich. We were missing sides of peppers and he had marinara sauce all over his bread and pickle. I've been here many times before, love the food and all the hot sauce offerings they have, always had a great experience until today 8-25-18, at 11am. First off, the African American dude came out and asked "what do you want?" While I was looking at the menu. No greeting at all or any sort of welcome. Came in around 12:30 on a Monday. Can't say I'm too impressed. My boyfriends sandwich was pretty good. (Turkey bacon Ranch). The bacon was well cooked and the bread was decent. However the sandwich was uneven, meaning there were bites with a ton of meat and bites with no meat. My salad was a bit of a disappointment. Firehouse has some of the absolute best subs on the planet and is a must try! So happy that Temecula has one now! Soooo happy! The food is equally amazing just as I remember!
