Food is delicious. Fresh,healthy choices on vegetables. I am able to get squaw bread and sprouts on my sandwich. Can't wait until they have the tomatoes soup again.The employees are always friendly and pleasant. I don't know if he's the manager or owner but he's always nice to customers as well as tge employees. There's seating inside and out. I work at tge Temecula Walmart and it's nice we have somewhere to go that's reasonably priced. read more

I can't believe it has been seven (7) freaking years since I wrote my original update! That's SEVEN more years of my life I can NOT get back! WTF?! Time continues to fly by! Anyhow, that's my pity party for the day... It had been almost a year since we last visited this Submarina (shame on us), so I decided to update my review. Came in on a Thursday early evening and were greeted promptly by the two working the counter. I ordered, you guessed it from my original review, the roast beef, swiss cheese and avocado sandwich. I am a creature of habit, but why change it up if it's something you know you like? Okay, I DID switch it up a little. Spotted the sign that stated they now provide jalapeno bread! The employee showed me the bread and it looked delicious, so I went for it! Asked for a few jalapeno slices within the sandwich - BURP! I was NOT let down! This sandwich was BETTER than the ones I ritually purchased on white bread! As long as they keep the jalapeno bread I won't ever switch back! The bread was super soft and loaded with internal goodness! The sandwich itself was loaded with meat, cheese and all the other goodness I specifically requested! I'm going to try and post a photo of this beast to share with y'all! I've been to a few other sandwich shops around town (I can't stand Subway and have not eaten from there in over a decade). This was/is the tastiest sandwich in the Temecula Valley (for me) hands down! Thus they get my 5 star rating for this category. The wife ordered a Tuna sandwich from their menu, chose her bread and fixings, and we were off to the park! I can't tell you what all was in her sandwich, but she raved about how good it was, so I'll leave it at that. She is a GREAT cook and can make some mean sandwiches when that is what is on the home menu, so that tells me all I need to know. We both agreed that it was long over due (just like this update) coming here and we will be back, sooner rather than later. The employees were friendly enough and we had a couple laughs interacting with them. None of the vegetables or condiments were in poor order, as some reviews have indicated. I always try to be very discerning when reading reviews and the allotment of rating stars. A review will rave about the food, but the interaction with staff (in their mind's eye) was lackluster - thus they toss out the single star. And then you get a few who are perplexed when they show up with less than 5 or 10 minutes before closing (if their watches were correct to begin with) and they are cleaning up and closing down. Kind of arrogant, if accurate, to me to blast a place for that when they could have just as easily got their butts in there 20 minutes earlier. Really? WTFever. I don't know where they get the stars and good reviews they have but holy cow. 2 staff 1 manager working. I waited 25 minutes in a line of about 10 people. 4 of those 10 walked out before ordering food. The girl making the sandwiches was moving at the speed of whatever is slower then a snail. Pretty pathetic and sad to watch. Could not properly make anyone's sandwich could not listen to simple instructions and would take a whole 5 minutes to put 3 pickles on a piece of bread. Screwed up both my sandwiches and would not listen to a word I said just acted very very confused and didn't say a word. Manager said I would have to pay for 2 sandwiches if they were to remake it the correct way. "Yes I would like turkey, provolone and avocado, that's it. no other toppings or sauces" Those instructions apparently meant put every sauce and every topping and roast beef on my sandwich. Still waiting for someone to tell me that I've been pranked. read more

9 inch sandwich was 8 inches. My sandwich looked a little short when it was being made. The lady ringing me up couldn't figure out if it was a 6 inch or 9 inch. I came home and measured just shy of 8 inches. I was generous too.. I smashed the sandwich and stretched it out to barley achieve 8 inches. read more

I went here for the first time recently and won't be back. The young guy making my salad was wearing plastic gloves that had holes in them and had been worn for way too long. It was gross. But the worst part was that he made my salad, had food all over his hands, then went and handled the money and the cash register with the same gloves on, then handed me a water cup after he put his finger inside to grab it. I was grossed out. He then went on to make someone else's sandwich with those same nasty gloves on! The veggies didn't taste that fresh; they had that refrigerator taste to them. The salad was $9 which was a bit high. I definitely prefer Subway or Togo's over this. read more
