We came on a Tuesday afternoon at 4pm and there was no waiting. This is my favorite Korean bbq spot of all time. -food: first and foremost is the food. I love all the sides and they're unlimited! TBH yes also give free ice cream for dessert. Amazing. The food is delicious. I love that the sauces are self serving instead of having to keep asking a server to get me more, like at other places. - service: our servers were very attentive. This place was pretty good, considering the area. I'm from the San Diego, where Convoy is the main staple for Korean barbecue. Went here on Christmas Day and there were about 4 other families enjoying Christmas dinner here, so it wasn't too busy or loud. Our server was super nice and attentive. The meat itself was okay. The brisket was thick and chewy. The pork belly was good and the short rib was the star of the show. Not sure if it's because it was Christmas, but the rice paper was pretty dry. It's been a long time since I tried a KBBQ place I actually liked lol. They serve a lot of meat and endless banchan. Everything was tasty and good quality. Our server was attentive, often checking in, and quick with refills on drinks and banchan, also he was like super handsome lol! The owner is awesome! Hubby enjoys speaking with the owner who is usually there everyday. The place is always clean and welcoming. Pricing is very reasonable and everything we have tasted so far is delicious. Sides are unlimited. The kids and hubby loved the steamed eggs. My favorite side are the radish and spicy cucumbers and potatoes. We always have a great time here, usually has the game on during the season too. Cups for sodas teas water etc are HUGE! lol. Easily the worst Korean BBQ I've had. The menu is extremely limited, and everything we tried tasted dry and stale, like it had been sitting out far too long. I won't lie, my husband and i went here previously before and it was amazing, the owner was really funny and made the whole experience and the food was really good for the price! That's why we decided to bring our family today and show them, but the experience had completely changed, as well as the quality... firstly one of the servers was rude to my mother in law, then, there was a hair in my meal and manager offered a free dessert and joked about how he would personally make sure the chef would get a haircut after his shift, and would personally wax him himself if he wasn't so busy! I would assume this isn't the first time this has happened from how he responded. To top it off the meat was rubbery and had somewhat of a foul smell. There was barely anyone here (not busy like manager mentioned) so it was really awkward to bring this up to anyone's attention, and though we'd just get a different meat. I wouldn't recommend joking around to a customer when someone brings something like this to your attention. And i wouldn't recommend coming and wasting your money here. read more

She answered all of our questions and was so helpful with suggestions. We got our orders right away. We did the middle menu option and the meats did not disappoint. I think we tried almost all of the sides at our table (minus the ramen and tofu soup) and they were all really good! Great selection of items to complement the meats. I like the option to select what kind of grill you'd like to cook on. There's plenty of room inside where you're not bumping elbows with your neighbor.
