This is great Korean bbq place that's budget friendly. Visited on a weekday for lunch and it was a great price for ayce! Their sides are authentic and delicious and they have a variety of proteins to choose from. We were seated right away and the staff were very friendly! The ambience was great! There's a couple tvs were playing anime so that was entertaining. Our server recommended the plum soju which was a flavor we had not had and it was a delicious compliment to our meal!

While visiting the in-laws, we got a lunch in without the kiddos! Stopped in for some KBBQ and we were so pleased with our choice! This is a MUST GO if in the Temecula area and was excellent to satisfy our grilled meat cravings. The lunch AYCE special is such a great value with huge portions of meats! Their banchan had all the best options which included kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cake, japchae and potato salad. We got brisket, pork belly and beef belly to start and each were excellent quality. Couldn't even order a full second set but got beef belly and spicy bulgogi. The staff was excellent! Our server was very kind and attentive making sure we had enough food ordered and replaced any banchan we were running low on. The owner came by and showed us better grilling techniques for the beef belly and used his blow torch! They both were so kind, let us know about the special sauces and made our experience so much better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming in and enjoying some delicious KBBQ! If we're ever in Gardena we'd check them out too!

It was our first time here. My family and I came on a Saturday afternoon, was seated immediately. The service was good! The servers were attentive, and the owner was friendly, energetic, came by our table as we finished our meal. The meat quality was decent and all cuts were very thin. The grill setup was a wire mesh over a gas flame, and unfortunately, our fire was only active on one side. I've been to many KBBQ places and have experienced working as a cook, but this was one of the most difficult grills to cook meat on, especially when we enjoy beef belly and pork belly. The heat was inconsistent, burning edges while leaving other parts uncooked. The gray oil residue left on the plates, made the food less appetizing for us. That may come down to personal preference as many may enjoy charred, smoky KBBQ. We even tried the beef back rib and squid, but neither cooked properly. Additionally, the restaurant lacks ventilation. There was a lot of smoke build up and it became really warm inside. It's not the cleanest environment but understandable. Since it was our first visit, it would have been helpful to know about the available side items that weren't listed on the menu. We had to ask to find out they offered sesame oil, chili sauce, ssamjang, and salad. This was our first and last visit. We ended our meal early and felt that we definitely didn't get the value we expected.

First I want to say that service was great! There was no wait for our party of 6 and we were seated right away for lunch. All servers were pleasant and eager to please. The meats came out fast and were put on the grill quickly. But the meats were all thinly sliced with a lot of fat and so when they were placed on the wire mesh grill, they immediately scorched to a burnt char, while some parts of the meat was still undercooked. These slices were so fatty that it caused the fire to flame too high. Unfortunately when asked if they served meats cut other ways, the only other option was a bone rib. It's too bad they didn't serve cut pieces as well as the thin slices. Also, each table is partitioned by acrylic dividers that especially kept the heat inside the booth and limited the smoke ventilation. Because of this, we were really hot and claustrophobic and negatively impacted our experience. Lots of potential here with better ventilation and a variety of cut meats could really make a difference.

12/2025 Fun, lively, AND delicous KBBQ!! Behind the mall's movie theater area

One of the BEST KOREAN BBQ restaurants I've come across in the Temecula area. It's in the same shopping center with ShoGun I believe but it's on the opposite side of the center. Just behind the mall's movie theater. It has been years since I'd been here. It was not as memorable back then as it was not a common find for Korean bbq in the area. My friends brought our holiday group here last week and I am blown away what a transformation the restaurant was from what I remembered. Such a FUN and LIVELY place to enjoy some delicious char-grilled m-over an open grill/fire BBQ!!!! The flavors that seep into the meat from the char, the fire, it's amazing! Our hosts and their staff are fun and so energetic!! Super lovely music, bright lights and staff interact with our group throughout our meal. The flames below the grill are also met with the staff's flames as they char the meat over the grill. Such a fun place to dine with a group young or old. Banchan was wonderful. A great assortment of banchan that also included japchae. Spicy rice cakes has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. Their steamed egg is flavorful and the spicy tofu -soondoobu was wonderful as well. There wasn't an item that wasn't thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend for your new favorite Korean bbq restaurant.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try and we're so glad we did. The place looks unassuming, but it totally gives you a more relaxed, bar/hangout vibe - which we really liked. Service was really quick and attentive, and everyone was so nice. I think the owner was there tonight and he frequently walked by each table to check in and also helped torch up some of the meat to get a nice char. We opted for the AYCE option A, and the meat quality is great here. We've been to two other KBBQ spots in the area (which we won't name) and concluded the quality of the meat and flavor is so much better. Granted, their menu isn't super extensive - but quality trumps quantity. Their side dishes are super tasty and flavorful. My only gripe is that I wish they had more options for sides (radish paper, mushrooms, onion, etc.) but the sides they offer are still pretty solid. They definitely don't skimp on their kalbi either and their sweet kalbi marinade is really good! We'd definitely come back whenever we're craving kbbq again!

Because of this I've never been able to share the gloriousness that is a full seafood boil, especially a good one like Pier 88. The headless peel n' eat shrimp and crawfish, the true backbone of any decent boil, were plump and delicious. I felt kind of giddy every time I would finish one and saw how many were left. The lobster tail was a good change-of-pace and the king crab legs, admittedly not my favorite item, still managed to satisfy. I also like how they threw in so much potatoes and sausage into the mix. It was definitely super generous at what other places consider an afterthought. I thought the service was alright. They seemed to have forgotten one of my party's margaritas but that could have been more a slow bartender than an inept server. I also never got a prompt to refill my soda, which is a little more concerning. The ambiance was pretty good. There were plenty of tables and booths, and everything was spaced appropriately. You definitely don't feel like you're on top of the tables around you. They also had plenty of TV's as the World Cup was easy to watch along with. I could be happy here any time I get the craving for some shrimp and crawfish. And as long as the servers were more diligent about refills. One time I'll figure out how to get Miss Scotch herself to one of these things, dirty hands be damned. I'd say getting your hands in the muck and mire of delicious foods is half the fun. And with places like Pier 88 out there, you could be having a fun time and a full belly every day of the week.

The bathrooms were nice and clean (not funny smells). The dinning area was spotless with updated sort of nautical beach hints. They got me with the fish fridge/market at the entrance. A clear refrigerator case with beautiful cuts of fish for sale greets you as you walk inside and the nautical/ocean theme of the decor is hard to miss. The hostess walked us past many empty tables and booths, only to seat our party of three in the last booth next to the bathrooms, and with a full and direct view of both bathroom entrances. When I enjoy a meal, this isn't the view that I'd like to see while dining whether at a restaurant or at home. I didn't want to make a fuss, but seriously, I think this table should only be used as last resort, as the products used to clean the bathrooms were extremely strong, and this cloying chemical odor permeated my nostrils through the duration of our meal. Even my eighty year old mom commented on the odor. Melody provided mostly good service for us. She did forget my mom's wine so we had to remind her about it, but she did kindly substitute the rice for scalloped potatoes upon my request. Additionally, the helpers & bussers were attentive and kept our bread plate full. :) The bread is delicious! My dad had a glass of lager & my mom had a glass of Chalk Hill Chardonnay. They both enjoyed their drinks. I didn't not drink today because I was the DD. We shared the Seafood Louie salad, and each of us was able to have a fresh and flavorful bowl of salad. Each of us enjoyed it. Then the entrees were brought out. My butterfish was cooked well, but the miso flavor was quite subtle. The green beans were on the sour side, but the scalloped potatoes that I subbed in for the rice were delicious. My mom loved her trout and said the same thing I did about the sides. My dad's pasta was overly sauced. The shrimp and scallops were fine, but he would have preferred for the shrimp tails to be removed. Melody asked if we wanted dessert... crème brûlée, key lime pie, or mud pie. While these sounded tasty, we were all pretty full, so we got the check & headed out. There is a large parking lot as well as adequate restroom facilities. Parting thoughts: The standout item of the evening was the salad. I expected a better all round experience based on the quality of recent reviews and my previous time dining here a few years ago. However, tonight's experience was average at best.

The carne asada was juicy and perfectly cooked. We ordered the loaded fries, and wow they were truly loaded with meat! We also tried the taco enchilada plate as a sampler, and the enchilada sauce was to die for. I literally scooped up every last bit with my quesadilla. They offer several house made sauces with different spice levels, and all of them were delicious. Each of us had a different favorite, so definitely sample them all before choosing. The quesadilla was great too, but if you're deciding, I highly recommend the loaded fries and the taco enchilada plate both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Lastly, we got the horchata, and it was excellent perfectly flavored and not watered down at all. We pass through Temecula every time we visit California, and we can't wait to add this gem to our regular stop. There are so many other menu items we're excited to try next time!

Nothing stood out about the service and we found ourselves flagging them down a few times for re ups on water, napkins, etc. Food is still good, this was our first time trying the longaniza and shrimp appetizer and it was flavor packed! The baguette served on the side with the appetizer was the perfect combination. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I have ever had. The biscuit was buttery, soft, and savory. I am very picky with gravy and this one hit all the marks. Seasoned well, great texture, and not greasy at all. The carnitas chilaquiles are a classic although personally I wish they had more spice.
