Even though they're still in their soft opening, everything already feels well organized and ready. The meat was delicious, and there was a great variety of side dishes, all of which tasted excellent. My favorite part was the atmosphere--the large windows make the restaurant feel bright, spacious, and comfortable. Our group of 12 friends all had a wonderful experience, and everyone agreed that the food and the restaurant were excellent. The milk shaved ice(bingsu) we had for dessert after the meal was also delicious and was the perfect way to end our dinner. We had a solid KBBQ experience here! One of my favorite features is the self-service side bar. It's such a game changer being able to grab extra sides and sauces whenever we need them without having to flag down a server. ​We ordered the beef belly, brisket, and bulgogi. The quality of the meats was generally good, though I have to mention that the flavor of the bulgogi was a bit different from what we are usually accustomed to. Its just didn't quite hit that classic note we were looking for. The steamed egg was just okay as well. ​A few things that would take this place to the next level: Ventilation: Ensuring the exhaust vents are running at full capacity from the start would make for a much more comfortable dining environment. You can tell immediately when you walk in that the vents arent on but we got lucky and seated on the left side where the ac was blowing smoke at the other couple. ​Rice Paper: It would be a great addition to have this available for wraps. ​Dessert Options: It would be lovely if they offered fresh fruit with the shaved iced for a lighter finish. ​Overall, it's a convenient spot with a great setup, and we enjoyed the autonomy of the self-service bar. I really hoped to enjoy this place because KBBQ in Temecula is historically lacking, in my opinion. However, we have no plans to return at this point. On Friday through Sunday, the cheapest option was around $42. Bottom line: the food is not nearly tasty enough to warrant this price. It definitely wasn't the worst KBBQ experience I've ever had. Nothing that I ate was terrible by any means but, most times, the meats seriously lacked flavor. For their price point, I expected much more impressive flavors, cuts, and sides. It was refreshing to see that tteokbokki and kimchi jeon were offered as sides. In my experience, these are not always available at other restaurants. However, all of the buffet-style sides were pretty bland and unimpressive, as well. Service was decent for the most part. The staff were attentive and friendly. Their grills are relatively small and level with the table, which I found made for an awkward grilling experience. The inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. Granted, we visited on a hot Summer day so I get it but, regardless, it was a pretty miserable experience at our window booth on the east side of the building. The air seemed much cooler in the middle of the room so I would ask for a table there if you plan to visit. They sat us at a dirty booth that we had to request to be cleaned before sitting down. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, gas station quality. I am willing to overlook many of these complaints if the food is good enough, but this wasn't the case. If they offered their meals at 12-15 dollars cheaper, I would call this restaurant a decent KBBQ experience for someone not willing to make the long drive south toward San Diego, where the really good KBBQ is. Decided to try this new AYCE Korean BBQ today. I've been to many AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants and this place is on the bottom of my list. - Staff is friendly. They need to work out some kinks though. They dropped off steamed egg at our table and we didn't order it. - Grill is almost leveled with table so the oil from grill can get messy and splatter on the table and close to you. I got hit a few times with the oil. There were drips of oil next to the table I sat. Someone could easily slip. They need to be more thorough in their cleaning between customers. - Food: Meat was good. It's the typical quality and cut. I was not a fan of their banchan. They did not seem fresh and the kimchi & daikon was very sour. The cucumber kimchi I could not eat. It just the taste that wasn't appealing. There was no rice paper. There are other hot food in the self serve area. They are alright. The tofu soup lacked flavor. - I wouldn't come back. It was the taste of their food that I was not a fan of. I was so excited to find out from my awesome YELP ELITE friend @AmyC. That this place is having a soft opening. We had a gap in between work today so we decided to give it a try!... DOOR: I have to say that you have to PULL IT OPEN with all your might! It's a very hard door to open and a lot of seniors may not be able to open it. PRO TIP: Bring someone who is strong enough to open a heavy weight door with you!... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Very spacious and open concept. They also have window seats with views. The exhaust system was pretty strong so we didn't have such a strong smell of KBBQ in our clothes! SERVICE: A+ Excellent! Shout out to Kyla and William for providing such friendly and helpful service. Also to the very nice hostess in the front! I didn't get her name but, she's tall and looks like she could be a model... MEATS: The bulgogi, brisket and chicken were my favorite! Most of the sides were available at the buffet station. What stood out to me was their spicy buckwheat noodles, potato salad and fried chicken!! SAUCES: There is sesame oil, sambal, brisket sauce and samjaang at the buffet station too... I came during their soft opening so there needs to be some improvements as far as staffing and customer service goes. Most did not know gochuchang, ssamjang and other sauces. But theyll learn these things in no time. This is normal. All the servers and workers were very nice and sweet as can be! I love that this place is so open! Nice and big. Chill atmosphere. Its spaced out well and the illusion that its huge has succeeded in my book! The menu has 4 options. The lunch special at 24.99 is what people mostly come for. The other menu prices are 33$ (for all day, every day) and the next one up is 43$ and 53$ respectively with more selections of meat. For me, I only ever eat beef belly and pork jowl, so the lunch menu will do just fine. I really loved the beef belly and pork jowl here. The quality is very decent. I also like how they come in smaller portions. Additionally to this, they have a salad bar. Its really convenient as you can get your sides and sauces all readily available for you. There are also hot foods like pot stickers and fried rice and jap chae. The neat thing is they have cold buckwheat noodles. My one con about this place is they dont have unlimited refills like 2n1. Today, they did not have corn cheese and rice paper as they will have it on their grand opening July 4th. The steamed egg was OK, but not bad. I really hated the soondobu. It tasted like pickled mustard plants were in it. Thats not how soondobu that im used to tastes so it could be me. Had some really good food and excellent service here for dinner. Keep in mind they're brand new, so there may be a few growing pains. Robert, our server, was excellent. From the hostess to the rest of the staff, everyone worked together and was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was also nice, with music playing and an overall great vibe. It offers differrent levels of All-You-Eat KBBQ options : Lunch Specials (Mon-Thursday 11.30am-3pm only), and the Regular, Select, Premium options are available All-Day everyday. The side dishes and soup are self-serve at the salad bar. Steamed eggs need to be ordered from the server. Loved their steamed eggs and cucumber salad. Everything else was just ok. Considering they are newly opened restaurant, they generally did pretty well. Will come again to try the other options. read more

This is my new spot!! I went in for lunch and had the absolute best experience from the restaurant ambiance, to the service to the quality of the meat and attentiveness of our server William we had absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant. William was so kind, relatable and fun as our server. He checked on us frequently and engaged in conversation each time he came over and he made the experience 10x better. The food was 10/10, our meat was always being refilled as soon as we finished and we hardly had to ask for a grill change because someone was watching to make sure we were good. This is already my second time since they opened and it's quickly become my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ spot. They have amazing quality meats and lots of yummy side dishes/banchan. I recommend their brisket (with their brisket dipping sauce!), pork belly, and galbi. I absolutely love their soon tofu soup too! Our servers were very attentive and the ambiance was fantastic. If you want lean go for the k-top steak. Side dishes is unlimited plus it's self serve which I prefer rather than waiting for the server. Service was friendly and will help out if you haven't done this before. Our server assigned to us just started but was very helpful. Ambiance was great lots of open space not constricted. We sat next to a window which was nice to see the outside. Parking is all around not really an issue. Pricing is good they just need to be more clear on the specials. Especially their banner just shows price but doesn't state when that's only available. I overheard one customer somewhat disappointed but he was fine doing the regular. I would recommend adding the days available for the special since people only see that and go in expecting to pay that price but the weekends don't offer that price. All in all good experience. Decided to visit this location based upon a friends recommendation. Very disappointed in the service provided by the server I had. He seemed all over the place and scattered. Meat selections were sub par, and the salad bar was missing corn cheese and the rice paper. They really needed to stock up some of the cold bar items. According to the server he said they won't be carrying the rice paper per the owners? (this is a typical Korean bbq item and offered at many other venues, seems a little off) The server also seemed to wanted to rush me out, and then really wasn't interested in providing great service. I had to flag him down for extra meat orders and to get him to refill our water canister. I did see him just standing around socializing with other employees. Seems like this job isn't a fit for him. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, and there was no excuse for the poor service. So I'm really not sure the reasoning behind it all. Went on a Thursday evening and was seated promptly. They're in their soft opening so some dishes aren't available yet until grand opening, which is July 4th. Food was very good, lived the brisket and beef belly. I also recommend the beef tongue, tasted delicious with the brisket sauce. They have an ayce salad bar which is great, since you don't have to always get a waiter for side dishes. Loved the assortment, from side dishes to noodles (the buckwheat noodles were my favorite). I know it's hard when you first open a restaurant, however I really wanted to like this place. Our server looked nervous and couldn't answer some basic questions. We tried this place and wasn't impressed at all. A lot of their banchan at the bar and sauces were empty and we asked for them to please refil it. The soup the entire time we were there never got refilled so we couldn't even try it. Meats were just bland. Service was great, our server gave great advice on our selections of meats, they just lacked any flavor. The banchan was disappointing, they had 2-3 different cabbage kimchee, 1 cucumber kimchee, their japchae was very bland, they had a couple other items but the entire we were there they never refilled it. On the way out they had a little table that was make your own shave ice with some azuki red bean and condensed cream, sort of out of place to have that there, but tasted very good. We were very disappointed cause the owners of this place are the same owners as Sura right across the street and that place is AMAZING!!! So I'm hoping they'll get out the kinks and it'll be better next time we go. Again service was amazing, food not so much. read more

As the town's resident competitive eater, I am a discerning glutton who must try every AYCE concept. So of course I had to quickly try it here. I was overall impressed. I like the salad bar concept for the banchan, sides, and sauces. It allowed me to take as much as I want without pestering the servers. And it was all fresh and had a good amount of variety (even things like chicken wings). The meat is ordered from the server, 3 items at a time (but came quickly). There is a few things you have to ask for not at the salad bar like white rice and I think tofu soup. It was nice to actually just have a decent amount on a large plate rather than constantly asking the server for refills on teeny plates. And I'm sure the staff appreciates not having to clean 8 billion teeny plates like most places. My only complaint might be to have a wider variety of sauces and dippers - but that is my complaint at most KBBQ places. The place is modern, well-ventilated, and clean. The servers were very friendly, though not really very on top of things like grill changes - but I think this will come with time since it's so new - they seemed to be trying well and that's more important than perfection. Only tried the lunch special, which was good quality, though perhaps not so much variety for me particularly because I don't eat pork (so only like 3 beef options on there). There is a lot more beef options on the more premium menus, but the price jumps pretty quickly. The issue is once one starts getting into a $50+ range, then taking the drive to one of the fancy pants KBBQ places (such as from the Chubby group) starts to become a consideration because then for just a bit more money you can get into wagyu and sashimi type territory. But this place is perfect for if you just want a good value on brisket, belly, bulgogi, etc with a really nice and clean salad bar and environment. I have to say, this place is going to be a problem for 2in1, it's closest competitor. K-top I think is pretty clearly better. Those who hate the idea of a buffet/salad bar concept might disagree though! Definitely gonna come back here regularly, especially for the lunch special. read more

This is the first Korean BBQ restaurant we've visited where gochujang was nowhere to be found, nor was it present in any of the food. The all-you-can-eat bar mainly offered Western-style sides, including chicken wings, onion rings, and zucchini sticks. Meanwhile, the authentic Korean dishes were bland and lacked the richness of true Korean flavors. The kimchi was watery and tasteless. The same goes for the Tteokbokki, which was cooked in a tomato-based sauce instead of a spicy gochujang sauce. Among the meat options, we tried the bulgogi and onjingeo, which were decent. The staff was courteous and attentive, but the atmosphere felt a bit stiff, missing the typical Korean music and other elements you'd expect at this type of restaurant. Additionally, the prices are quite high considering the overall quality of the food. I would suggest the owners spend more time visiting other local Korean BBQ spots and work on improving their overall approach. read more

The meat is pretty solid. and it comes fast. I got the most expensive menu and I would say the value isn't really there. They only let you order a small amount of meats at a time. it seems like they try to get you full off of the sides and then make it so that you don't eat a lot of of the meat. Which I understand it it's a business, but they seem a little bit too greedy with this limit, especially for customers who are ordering the most premium menu. The sides are pretty good though. The meat is good, but nothing out of this world or special compared to some of the other spots I've been to. I honestly was going to give it a two or three star review just because I feel like the owners are greedy and I didn't really get to enjoy a lot of meat. However, my server, Christian completely made up for the bad parts about this spot. he was so attentive and kind. He looks out for his customers and he knows how to carry a conversation and he does it real well. I was honestly having a pretty bad day until my interactions with him. He is the brightest spot about this place and the only reason I'd come back. I noticed that other customers were enjoying his company too. The other servers and busser were pretty good and chill too. i went to their first day opening on 6/23 and i went once again! i have been waiting for months for this place to open since i have loved their other store Sura Korean Kitchen just down the street, which i also highly recommend if you're looking for a good soondubu and traditional korean dishes. the meat quality here was phenomenal! i cannot stop thinking about the marinated beef ribs and the beef tongue! the banchan is a salad bar style where you grab a plate and grab the things that you want, and each side is delicious, from the fried tempura to the pickled cucumbers! the space is huge and open, and as someone in a wheelchair, easily accessible! it is a soft open still, so the servers are still getting used to all the systems, but the service is extra friendly and helpful! will definitely be back often! love the owners and both of their restaurant endeavors! read more
