What a great experience came in for my first time yesterday for our anniversary and let me tell you the food blows you away. Everything is cooked. Gourmet style and prepared perfectly from appetizers to dessert. You can't go wrong here. The chef himself is amazing and we'll come out to the table and explain to you and your kids how everything's prepared amazing spot. Can't wait to come back!!

They throw a Brunchin' Behaviour buffet style party every second Saturday of the month. Nice music, great vibes and great people with awesome food. Savage Chef represents the best of Menifee! Stop by and enjoy. But get tix ahead of time coz they'll run out.

Found this gem on my work travels and wow, so glad I did! For dinner, I couldn't decide on one thing so I ordered SIX sides and starters! Plenty to eat here and take home. Every dish was carefully prepared, well appointed and delicious. I don't have a favorite yet here's a few worth mentioning. Charred tuna tataki has just the right amount of kick with the garlic ponzu and the shishito sesame relish. So yummy! Shishito peppers were fabulous, truffle salt and Parmesan make the perfect combination Can you tell I like a little kick? You don't have to get kick, they've got plenty of other options. Amazing service from Jose at the bar, he knows the menu inside and out and has great suggestions. The vibe here is lively, the restaurant is clean, the service and food are spot on. I'll be back!

Cavatelli was delicious so much flavor! Cooked to perfection.

We celebrated my birthday at this fine establishment and we were not disappointed! It was Brunch on Sunday and we made reservations for 11:00 am. We were seated immediately and our server, Elison brought water. I ordered the Steak and eggs and a Bloody Mary. The steak was an 8 oz Filet Mignon, the eggs were over easy and the plate came with small potatoes. Everything was delicious! For desert we were brought S'mores and a flame pot to cook them. To finish my meal I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. The background music was epic and the noise level very low although the place was packed. One of only two 5 star restaurants in Menifee and you really need to try it!

Service is friendly and knowledgeable! Alejandro Is an amazing bartender. The surroundings tell the chefs journey and love story that lead to them open the restaurant. The pasta was delicious, however the star of the show by far was the panna cotta it had all the creamy textures I miss from Europe with a sweet American flair.

We came here based on my sister's recommendation. There is plenty of parking in this plaza. The craft cocktails were the standout for us. The food was good and wait staff were friendly. We ordered the country fried flat iron steak, cavatelli mac 'n cheese, and s'mores. Note for the s'mores you actually make s'mores yourself. We didn't realize it and it was messy, but delicious.

Came here for a late lunch/early dinner when shopping in the area. Tried the Korean fried cauliflower for the first time today and loved it so much! Definitely will be a repeat item I order next time. I also had the lobster roll and truffle Mac which are both 10/10 items as well. Husband had the mashed potatoes and Australian wagyu steak which was a special item. This place always delivers consistent and delicious items.

    Best bartenders in town.

SAVAGE CHEF: Hidden gem filled with first class service and a family vibe. Whether I'm at Savage Chef on a date or with my besties, this restaurant/bar always serves tasty food and unique drinks ... with an unmatched playlist

Came across current establishment due to hubby and daughter wanting steak. Very cute place. Great music I will say back in the 90s. Staff is friendly and seated right away with reservation. We had the steak flatbread as an appetizer which we all truly enjoyed. The crust was so crunchy and the cheese melted in your mouth. Amazing! Ordered a filet, daughter ordered a filet, ordered the kids steak for my youngest and hubby ordered ribeye. Sides we had the truffle Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and French fries. Hubby enjoyed his steak, cooked a bit over but said it was still very delicious/juicy. Daughter had her steak perfect and she devoured it. My steak was a bit over done as well. Ordered medium, cooked medium well, I did send back and staff were nice. The second steak was a bit better but over done. I will say, it was delicious and juicy still, I did enjoy it! The best side for us was the truffle Mac and cheese. OMG that was amazing! Fries were delicious! Mashed potatoes were good too but favorite for sure was the truffle Mac and cheese. Would go back just for that! We did get 2 desserts. We tried the toffee cake and the chocolate. The chocolate was very rich but adding vanilla ice cream recommended by our waitress did help with the richness, delicious! Fresh berries as well helped. The toffee cake, hubby enjoyed and finished and I enjoyed both. Overall, we would recommend to try and will be back. Thank you!

    Cheers!

I really do love this place. Reservations are key if you're dining in, but my usual move is ordering online and picking up. I live close enough, and they always pack the food right, still hot, still fresh. Now, I mean this with full respect: the pizza hits like those glory days of a personal pan Pizza Hut. Iykyk Also, don't sleep on the steak , they do it right. Drinks are good and don't forget to ask for the special. The vegan Caesar is also great bites. Feels good knowing our little town has a spot like this.

Savage Chef is the TRUTH. If you're looking for that "we just found our new date night spot" kind of place--this is it. My wife and I rolled in craving something special, and Savage Chef delivered. I ordered the 16oz New York Strip Steak, medium rare, and I swear--it was the best restaurant steak I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful... absolutely nailed it. We rounded things out with the roasted wild carrots (insanely good), the shishito pepper mac & cheese (creamy with a small kick), and the Wedge Salad. I washed it all down with a couple of Orange Creamscicle beers from Belching Beaver (San Diego represent!) and my wife had a Diet Coke. Every bite, every sip--spot on. The vibe? Straight-up nostalgic cool. Late '80s / early '90s hip-hop and R&B playing loud and proud. Think Tribe Called Quest, TLC, and a dash of old school "It was a good day" hip hop. The crowd was super mixed--young folks, grown folks, couples, friend groups--it just worked. Service was friendly, on point, and totally in sync with the whole vibe. We love that we can keep it chill and casual here or dress it up for a more elevated date night. Savage Chef is the real deal. We'll be back. Probably sooner than later.

The food was incredible! The main course, the sauces, the appetizers and the dessert. I'm still drooling after we even finished. Also one of the best Espresso Martinis I've ever had. Our waitress was amazing. Such a doll. So sweet, knowledgeable and super attentive. I didn't even mind that it was a bit loud inside. We were so busy enjoying every last bite of our food. Ambiance was casual and a tad upscale. It was nice to have a great upscale meal without having to get dressed for the occasion. We will be back. We will recommend and this will become one of our frequented places to eat. Chefs kiss! Phenomenal!!!

Cavatelli $20 - I wanted to love this but it was bland. Pasta was gummy.

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--

The place felt cold and my parents were ready to go and get someplace warmer. The tap water tasted like chemical chlorine so didn't drink the water. The mimosas were good. My parents got the French toast. Very generous portions and probably could have just gotten one plate and share. They took some leftovers home. My turkey club on a croissant was ok. I suppose I had another vision of it but the thing was huge mostly due to the lettuce and I really hate having to break apart a sandwich to eat it. I think it could have been maybe grilled and pushed own more so I can get everything in one bite. My son liked the crab cake Benedict. My husband got the fried steak but the toasted (or limp) bread smelled and tasted rancid - like Ajax. Between that and the water smelling chemically, we were kind of grossed out by the whole experience. We told the waitress of the bread and she offered more breakfast potatoes which I think is the best thing on the plates, he declined. I mean for a $160 bill which is steep for brunch, I was just thinking have better tasting water (filtered) and tasty bread, make the room feel more warm, music was so loud I couldn't hear my parents across the small table, so just make the music more mellow and chill, less loud. I think it will be awhile if we decide to come back. From Chatgbt: Most likely cause: bread came into contact with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals (from a cutting board, knife, toaster, or counter that wasn't fully rinsed). What to do: don't eat it; rinse mouth and drink water. If there's burning, nausea, or throat irritation, call Poison Control (US: 1-800-222-1222) and let the restaurant manager know. My husband felt nauseous after but is doing ok. My son who had the crab said he feels sick and had some diarrhea. I think we will unfortunately pass from going there again :(
