Came here on Sunday for brunch with my love for a nice little morning/afternoon date. The staff were very friendly however I didn't care for the seating arrangement the hostess was seating us in. There was a ton of seating in the restaurant and she was sitting us right next to everyone. We requested to not be sitting right next to someone and practically be part of their conversation when theres a ton of open seats. Then when we got sat away from everyone, she sat a party right next to us. Again when open seating elsewhere. Just didn't make sense to me. Our server was great though! We ordered the pb and j wings to start which were phenomenal! Then my partner ordered the berry cobbler french toast. I ordered the cavatelli pasta. It was to die for. The sauce, the sausage, the tomatoes how the flavors blended. Everything just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this place for brunch or for dinner. The menu is so good. We were leaving Temecula for the day and wanted to find somewhere along our route home for a nice dinner. Savage Chef popped up with great reviews so we decided to go and check it out. It's in a shopping center with a big red sign on the outside, once inside the ambiance was very chill and the bar was inviting. We did decide to sit at the bar and were greeted right away by the bartender. He gave us drink and food menus and I went with the cucumber fizzle which was right up my alley. My husband had one of there creative Old fashions and he really enjoyed his drink as well. We started with the Caviar Bites and Calamari, probably the best calamari I have had in quite a while. We also ordered the cavatelli mac and cheese which was very flavorful with the shishito pepper and parm and lastly we also had the Korean wings which were very meaty and full of flavor. Great place to eat some dinner in Menifee. This place exceeded my expectations for sure. We had the beef carpaccio, not knowing what it was and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were so good together and the polenta was yummy. I had the lobster BLT, which is a cold sandwich. That was absolutely amazing. Perfect mix of tangy and savory. The fries were so good as well. My boyfriend got the backyard Barbecue platter. Which is on their special menu that is only seasonal. He truly enjoyed his food and the ribs were so tender, this specific food option had a lot on the plate and will definitely get you very full and could even possibly share. Our server was Makenzie, she had such great service and is very kind and accommodating. Our waters were never empty or even pass the halfway point because she was so on top of checking on us and making sure everything was good. First time trying this restaurant, and it was a great experience! I love finding restaurants tucked away in shopping plazas--they always seem to impress me more than I expect. We arrived right when they opened at 3 PM on a Saturday. The hostess was sweet and quickly showed us to our table. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the paintings on the walls--they were beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. If you want to learn some history behind the restaurant ask Tiffany for the story behind the paintings :) We started with a couple of drinks, and they were delicious. I ordered a Bloody Maria (basically a Bloody Mary made with tequila), and it was really good. For an appetizer, we got the Grilled Corn Ribs, and wow--they were so tasty. We couldn't stop talking about how good they were. For our entrées, we ordered the Double Stacked Cheeseburger and the Cavatelli pasta. I really enjoyed the pasta. The flavor was delicious, and while the noodles were a bit thicker than I expected, it was still a great dish. My partner wasn't the biggest fan of the burger because of the Southwestern pimento cheese, but the fries were excellent! I tried the burger myself and honestly thought it was still pretty good. It was also my partners birthday so they brought a cute little dessert! Overall, we had a great experience. Our waiter, Jose, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Oh my gosh was this place great! Super packed and busy make sure to make a reservation! We booked a last minute reservation for dinner and they were able to get us in, as it seemed like the nicest restaurant in the proximity to our Airbnb. Service was phenomenal the entire time they even gave us a private room unknowingly that we were there celebrating my bachelorette party. We were super happy, the area was cozy and private, perfect for our small group. They offer a bunch of different options on espresso martinis, you can custom different liquors and flavors. We all tried different combinations and they were all wonderful. Onto the food, we were blown away! Couldn't believe that finding this place last minute gave us such an incredible experience. The food was top notch and delicious. The Mac and cheese was soooo creamy and flavorful. The steak was cooked perfect and they have several dipping sauces to choose from. The salmon was a hit and the risotto went really well with it. I wouldn't be surprised if this place had a Michelin star, it was THAT GOOD. A $25 cake-cutting fee shouldn't have overshadowed our son's birthday, but the way it was handled did. We've been coming here for years. It has been our go-to steakhouse, and we've even celebrated our anniversary here. We love the food, which makes what happened during our son's birthday dinner especially disappointing. After an excellent steak dinner that cost approximately $330, we brought out a small, pre-sliced ice cream Polar Pizza for our son's birthday. I began serving it myself because it was already sliced. The waitress then came over and, in a confrontational manner, announced that we would be charged a $25 cake-cutting fee. The fee may have previously been mentioned to my wife, but I was not aware of it when I began serving the cake. I understand that restaurants have policies, and a calm explanation would have been enough. Instead, the situation was turned into an unnecessary scene during our son's birthday celebration. Then another large male employee came over, stepped directly into my personal space, and angrily asked, "Would you bring beer into a bar?" He got right in my face without first asking what had happened or allowing me to explain. His tone and decision to get that close were aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We ultimately paid the $25 fee even though the staff did not cut, plate, or serve the cake. The fee was frustrating, but the confrontational way the employees handled the situation was far worse. Families considering celebrating a child's birthday here should confirm every outside dessert policy beforehand. In our case, what should have been a joyful moment for our son became an upsetting experience. It did not leave us feeling as though families celebrating with children were welcomed or valued. A simple and respectful conversation could have resolved everything in seconds. Instead, their response changed the entire mood and ruined what should have been a special ending to our son's birthday dinner. The food may still be excellent, but a restaurant is remembered for more than its steaks. After years of loyalty, the aggressive and disrespectful way this was handled during our son's birthday has cost them our business. We will not be returning. read more

I've been coming to Savage since they first opened, and it continues to be one of my favorite spots. The pan roasted chicken is my go to it's consistently delicious and cooked perfectly every time. The cocktails are always on point too, and the service is great. On the weekend, it can get a little loud, but during the weekdays, it's usually quiet and relaxed. My cousin and I had dinner on a busy Friday night at Savage Chef. She recommended it since I was in town visiting. We made a reservation for 8:15, which is highly recommended to and we were seated immediately. Our server was wonderful, I can't remember her name but she had dimples, short salt & pepper hair, and an amazing personality!! We started with the PB&J wings as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. The wings were cooked perfectly and the peanut sauce it came with for dipping was such an amazing compliment to the wings. We also had drinks. My cousin had the coconut margarita and said it was so good. I had a glass of Rose. For our entrees, I ordered the Steak & Shroom flatbread, and my cousin ordered the Motor City Deep Dish. We both enjoyed our entrees, but were full from the wings. The vibe is upbeat and lively. There are a lot of tables and bar seating. The music was absolutely amazing. We celebrated my birthday at this fine establishment and we were not disappointed! It was Brunch on Sunday and we made reservations for 11:00 am. We were seated immediately and our server, Elison brought water. I ordered the Steak and eggs and a Bloody Mary. The steak was an 8 oz Filet Mignon, the eggs were over easy and the plate came with small potatoes. Everything was delicious! For desert we were brought S'mores and a flame pot to cook them. To finish my meal I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. The background music was epic and the noise level very low although the place was packed. During the World Cup, the TVs were difficult to see from the dining room, so many guests including us ended up checking phones instead of occasionally glancing at the game which defeats the overall experience and both food and company etiquette . I don't expect a sports bar, but if TVs are installed, they should either be functional or not be there at all. We also never received a soda refill or were asked if we'd like another drink. Right from the beginning we had to flag a server down as no straws were left , we later also had to flag someone for a box and the check Good food, but the service and overall guest experience and ambiance have room for improvement. read more

I live close enough, and they always pack the food right, still hot, still fresh. Now, I mean this with full respect: the pizza hits like those glory days of a personal pan Pizza Hut. I ordered the 16oz New York Strip Steak, medium rare, and I swear--it was the best restaurant steak I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful... absolutely nailed it. We rounded things out with the roasted wild carrots (insanely good), the shishito pepper mac & cheese (creamy with a small kick), and the Wedge Salad. I washed it all down with a couple of Orange Creamscicle beers from Belching Beaver (San Diego represent!) and my wife had a Diet Coke. Every bite, every sip--spot on. The vibe? Straight-up nostalgic cool. Late '80s / early '90s hip-hop and R&B playing loud and proud. Think Tribe Called Quest, TLC, and a dash of old school "It was a good day" hip hop.
