My daughter and I decided to try out the Landing Zone Café in Lake Elsinore Ca. They serve from burgers to breakfast. We ordered one of their traditional breakfast plates. It came with everything you would expect on a breakfast plate. Eggs bacon potatoes and toast. I ordered a peach tea and my daughter had coffee. It was good. Landing Zone Cafe is one of the best breakfast places in the IE area. In my opinion. Give it a try and see what you think of it. read more

In my experience this place could use a change in menu with more options and a little bit better management. While I was here with my family we had to ask the waitress to give us a refill. She was very busy on her phone and even when people came in the establishment they weren't greeted with eye contact. She was very nice, and I have nothing against her personally. I've been on a journey trying different spots in Lake Elsinore. The locals make a big deal out of breakfast burritos so I thought I'd try the different offerings around town. Especially since I've rarely had a bad breakfast burrito. While I've seen this spot millions of times and it's real close to me, I've never been in the plaza but today I went for it. There are pics of their old menu floating around and I would love to try the shrimp scramble that it appears they used to offer. Anyways... The interior is roomy, you sit yourself and there are plenty options. Servers here are damn near local legends-that's how good the servers are. Customers know them and remember them by name-but they also are observant and good with names. But that breakfast burrito. Again, I've rarely had a bad breakfast burrito and my streak didn't end here. Let's talk about that salsa tho-it really was the icing on the cake. I never really make a big deal about salsa but it was very memorable here. It has a smoky hint to it, almost as if they mix it with bbq sauce or something but it really adds something special to the burrito. Looking forward to coming back and trying more. read more

My Husband and I pulled into the Landing Zone Cafe this morning for breakfast. They were Super busy and instead of holding up our waitress while we decided on what to eat , we asked her what she would recommend. The breakfast Burrito and Pumpkin pancake combo it is. The food was really good and plentiful. So glad we took her advice. As good as the food was, it really was the Service that put it over the top for us. Tried Calle D Landing Zone Café for the first time, and overall, it was a good experience! The interior has a nice vibe, and the music added to the atmosphere. I ordered the breakfast avocado toast--first time trying it--and it was actually really good. The only downside was the service. The waiter had a bit of an attitude, which made the experience less welcoming, but nothing too crazy. Other than that, the food was solid, and the place itself is nice. We've been coming here for years and the food has never disappointed. Unfortunately we only come here when we've got minimal plans for the day because it's consistently taken 40+ minutes to get our food even if it wasn't busy. Additionally, the service has deteriorated tremendously. On our last visit, the gentleman seating guests and cleaning tables tended to us significantly better than our designated server to the point where he brought us our food and filled our cups twice before the server bothered to check on us. One of the best, arguably the best in Lake Elsinore. This place is literally around the corner from my old house I lived in for 7 years. My biggest regret is not trying it much sooner. Prices are very fair, portions are more than enough and the quality of food is awesome! Our server was awesome. She was friendly and attentive.
