We hadn't been to BJ's in Menifee for quite some time. Our server was Aiden. He was on top of it all and friendly, too. We haven't had service that good in a very long time, anywhere. Julie T was honestly one of the best servers I've had at BJ's. She was super friendly right from the start and made the whole experience feel really comfortable and easy. She checked on us the perfect amount, not too much but always there when we needed something. Our drinks stayed full, food came out right, and she made sure everything was good the whole time. You can tell she actually cares about her job and about the people she's serving. She had a great attitude the entire time and made the meal way more enjoyable. At the bar on a a Thursday afternoon Happy Hour and it was busy! No surprise given our experience. Friendly hostess and waitress. We just came from a wonderful experience, which redeemed the kind of mediocre service we seemed to get the last few times we've been here. If you get a chance to sit at Ethan's table, do it! He was attentive to our toddlers needs, brought out extras that we didn't even have to ask for, and was on top of making sure our food was there quickly and drinks were refilled often. First time at this BJ's location! At first glance, I thought this place was packed just because of where it's located. This shopping center seems like the main hub for Menifee residents Our server was great, Brandon really did an exceptional job! They always seem to have plenty of meal deals, such as Happy Hour or specific Daily Deals. On our visit it was very crowded and they had many people waiting inside and outside for a table to open up. We chose to add our name to the list and wait but luckily a table opened up at the bar area and we swooped it up. Much better than waiting the estimated 45+ minutes! The servers are always kind, and no matter what day or time it's always something at this location. Today they were out of booster and high chairs. They said the would bring us one as soon as it became available. Within 10 mins I saw two tables being seated after we had been sat and brought high chair. I walked around and found 3 stacked up. Food took forever as did refills. Food again arrived at different times. My niece food came 15 mins after we ordered. They offered her some fries as she waited kind gesture but she just wanted her chicken and pasta. I know you said in my last review to let a manger know on site. Would hav loved too but never saw one. Also i ordered the Monday - Friday special pizza and salad with a pazookie but they charged me for a medium pizza and side salad. I eat them almost every time I go out lol these mozzarella sticks were just ok because they weren't melted all the way and were super salty. The chili wasn't good at all, very salty and beans were hard. The meat was tasty. The bbq chicken pizza hit the spot, so fluffy and chicken was delicious. Monkey bread was epic. First and foremost, they changed their pizza. No more chunks of tomatoes. They changed it to mimic Detroit pizza. FAIL! Its just a plain pan pizza now. Previously each bite taste fresh with the tomatoes. This is like when Coke changed their recipe, how HBO can't decide on what to call themselves. A failed marketing campaign! Anyway, I waited to place a to-go order, but it took at least 8 to 10 mins before someone arrived to take or hand out orders whilst the phone rang and rang. The manager ended up taking my orders and was very pleasant. I like most of the food,but when I wanted a pan pizza different from the rest, it didn't fit the bill. Do not recommend doing curbside at this restaurant. Had surgery and can barely Walk and saw they offered curbside. Ordered some dinner. Option was ASAP or pick a time this was at 5:35pm. Arrived approx. 5:45-5:50. Marked here out in my spot number . Then came up will ready at 6:10. So I waited and approx 6:14 no one came out. Tried calling no answer. Wobbled my way in to pick up desk where I was greeted by 3 employees standing there taking to each other. I asked if I could pick up my food. She reached behind her and grabbed bag off the shelf that had bees sitting there for a little over 10 minutes by what the receipt said. Going to contact the manger tomorrow also. read more

I have no idea what happened to this location. It just cannot get its stuff together. I did a review about 8 months ago and it still hasn't improved. We thought we'd enjoy a night out as a family. It took an hour to get our food and another 45min to get our dessert. We were there for 2 hours. No wonder the wait for seating is always long here! From the moment we sat down, Caitlin greeted us with a warm smile and a genuinely positive attitude that immediately set the tone for the entire evening. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, checked in on us regularly, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. You could tell she takes real pride in her work and cares about the customers she serves. At one point there was a small mix-up with one of the items in our order. Before we even had a chance to worry about it, Caitlin stepped in, apologized sincerely, and handled the situation with professionalism well beyond what most people would expect. She quickly corrected the issue, kept us informed while it was being fixed, and even followed up afterward to make sure everything was exactly right. What could have been a minor inconvenience turned into a moment that actually impressed us because of how well she handled it. Throughout the entire meal she maintained an upbeat, friendly attitude and made our table feel genuinely welcome. It's rare to encounter someone who combines efficiency, professionalism, and such a great personality all at once. Caitlin represents exactly the kind of employee any restaurant should be proud to have. If management sees this, please recognize her for the outstanding job she's doing. WOW! I went out to dinner last night with my family just for a night out, we got sat in a very nice spot, it wasn't too loud in the place nor was it hectic. We were sat in a timely manner and our server Caitlin did a phenomenal job, she had given us our food in a timely manner as well and wasted no time to start taking care of us. She was super friendly and had good vibes and a positive attitude, our drinks also came out quickly. The food was amazing, I had a chicken sandwich and fries, it was delicious! I called ahead asking if it's okay if our dog is with us on the patio. They said yes. I told them I'm 25 minutes away. We get there and I check in and the person who took my call goes to get her supervisor who then comes back to ask if my dog is a service animal. I say no. She proceeds to tell me only service animals and shows me signs around the restaurant. I tell her - I wasn't here and was 25 minutes away that was why I called. I told her their needs to be training when people call - TO LET THEM KNOW ITS SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY. He took the time to answer our questions thoroughly and did a great job interacting with our kids (ages 8, 7, and 3), which we really appreciated. He checked in on us the perfect number of times throughout the meal--always present when needed, but never intrusive. Overall, he performed his role flawlessly and delivered one of the best dining experiences we've had at any restaurant. We had a party of six and were seated within 15 minutes as it was the start of the busy time. Our waitress was Isabella and she was wonderful! I had the Smash Burger with fries and a cup of chili. To drink I had the Piranha IPA. The Smash Burger was a double patty and was so damn good! The chili is on point and I loved it. Music was playing in the background but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't have a good conversation. We all had the $13.00 meal with a pazooki at the end. Not bad for a meal I had to bring half my burger home! Best time to go is from 4-7pm because they have happy hour then and you get good deals on drinks and some appetizers. Even if it was too late no one talked to us, or even warned us about it being too late or nothing. People were still actively being served, yet NO ONE even bothered to come over to talk at us. Finally went up and saw bags sitting there with employee on the phone. Asked if that was my food. Got food and took home 5 min away and food was COLD!! They put the ice cream for the Pazoki on the fries in bag. The chicken sandwich was satura in grease and cold along with the fries!! Inedible!!!!! The flatbread pizza same. Cold They must've had it sitting there for the whole 20 minutes without telling us it was ready. Had they given us our food when we first arrived, it would've still been warm. What a waste of money. Half of the food was not edible at all. We will not be going back again to this location. read more

Today 13 of us went to BJ's for lunch after a funeral. We didn't have a reservation so the hostess seated us in the bar. Theresa was our server and she was outstanding! Our drinks came out quickly, appetizers appeared without delay, and our main courses followed which were exactly as everyone ordered. We asked to sit in the bar .... The waitress took our order.... While we waited for our chicken club sandwich.... My friend had a glass of wine and I had a soft drink.... We split the a chicken club sandwich.... It just OK... not a lot of seasoning... and the chicken breast was kind of dry..... We asked for our bill.... I realized it was someone else's bill at least twice as much as what ours would be.... I told the waitress that she had given us the wrong bill....She looked flustered, but didn't apologize..... when she walked away she dropped her tray.... I don't leave reviews unless it's really poor service or amazing service and I had to give 5 stars because of amazing service this past week when we got take out. It was super busy and we had someone named Ethan helping us with our takeout order. He was so sweet and kept letting us know the updates of our order and because of this we didn't leave with having to wait so long. It makes such a huge difference when you have good employees and this kid should get a raise or promotion because he really stood out to us! Great job!!!! We will be back because of him! read more
