The waitress was very good! We were a party of 5. I got a build your own omelet with extra avocado. It was ok. Also got the cinnamon dippers which were rich and sweet. Our server was perfectly fine, but he seemed a little downtrodden. But he kept a smile and took good care of us. We first discovered this location after being in the shopping center and saw they had some really good specials. One was their burger. Holy smokes! Not what I was expecting. Fresh, hot, perfectly made. It was seriously good. This last time we went we ordered the Classic Burger and the Classic Grilled Chicken sandwich. We each had 1/2 of both. We both really liked it. It was during Saturday morning's peak hours. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated, but we were only quoted a 10 minute wait (I thought I'd be at least 1 hr wait based on what I saw). We waited exactly that, 10 minutes. We had their 'Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs', 'House Scramble', 'Fresh Berries Crepes', and of course, coffee. Our food was fresh and tasted great, with that authentic IHOP taste. Hashbrown portions are smaller than other locations, though. But when I looked up I saw the employee Damien literally bent over a high chair cleaning it from top to bottom before bringing it to us! We have been to many many restaurants and we are aways the ones to clean the high chair (and they are always filthy!); this was the 1st time that we received such incredible service. We used to LOVE IHOP. They've been changing badly. We went there on Mother's Day - after the rush! It was the WORST meal I've ever had there. I ordered their 2 - 2 - 2 (pancakes, eggs, bacon) THE WORST EVER! Pancakes were SO THIN, burnt and could not be cut with a fork - chewy! Eggs ordered sunny side up - small ones came came with tiny yolks, one broken. Bacon was ordered crispy. Maybe they were, at one time, but obviously were cooked earlier in the morning and were rubbery and chewy. But the WORST was those awful pancakes. The server asked how we enjoyed our meal. I said "this has nothing to do with you, but it was awful." I told him about the super thinness of the pancakes and being burnt. He agreed and said "they're all like that". WHAT?? I had very good service my waitress was so nice. She brought us our check and said when ever we were ready to go ahead and pay at front or in the wall they had a scan QR code so I paid with the QR code. Im not sure if they get a notification that it was paid for or what not. As we were leaving they waitresses say good bye have a good day. I was half way threw the parking lot and one comes running asking if we paid I said yes i paid with the code and she said ohh Im just making sure. I told her I can show her and as I was showing her another waitresses calls her and tells her they are okay they paid. She said replied with well I just check im already here. We went to the Menifee CA I HOP and at 6pm my husband ordered a steak dinner and it was not until we ordered that we were told they had NO vegetables but he could order a salad. When the salad came it was lettuce piles of chopped tomatoes and many slices of red onion. I asked if they had croutons and was told no. The mashed potatoes were a child size portion. I ordered a chicken quesidilla which was the least amount of cheese I have seen sprinkled on the tip of a stale tortilla, burnt poblano and red bell peppers. I tried to use pan coins on a child's meal and I told him I had opened it and that the code was there and he said no he insisted on doing it again and then there were 2 kids meals and he said oops sorry they don't refund it even though he made a mistake. I told him I had lost over 150 pan coins because when ever we try to use it the "system" is down. He offered no way to fix it and told me I could only use one. This was not the first multiple errors or bad food we have had at this location. We will not go back. read more

I had a drop off near this restaurant so decided why not stop for dinner! This is the first time I've been to the IHOP here in Menifee. The staff were very friendly and seated me right away. I asked my waitress if she would recommend the salmon dinner. She said yes, it's a popular dish. So salmon it was! The first thing I loved was they took the skin off. The salmon was well seasoned and delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked as were the green beans. I'm not a lover of green beans, but adding sea salt table side worked! Not liking these pancakes! The new norm for IHOP on the pancakes. However, the district manager - Lily said this is how they always are. This is how you know they are fluffy . I was trying to help her out and let her know that her consistency was off on the batter as I never have had them like this before and I've been here multiple times. So we went in yesterday evening (Christmas evening) I'll be honest I didn't check the hours. I was only checking if things were open. Once we got in and talked to a hostess, she seemed confused about where to see us, even though more than half of the restaurant was empty. She was looking around in what seemed like a flustered motion - they were literally seats all within ear shot. Then we overheard the conversation she had with a coworker, not sure what the coworkers's name was didn't look at their name tag. But she had no problem voicing her opinion about people coming in. I would love to review the food quality, but after being talked about as if we aren't there, we decided to leave. I get it was Christmas for them , but it was also Christmas for us. I left with no hesitation once the hostess began pressuring us if we would 'finish in time' all the while wouldn't seat us at a table to order. Realized they closed at 10 but it was before 9:30 and honestly, we were going to share a plate and be gone in 10 minutes. Happy that your employees give zero about people coming in. This is the second time I came here and was greeted and seated promptly. This is the second time I had "Nancy" as my waitress and she's amazing. Nancy always looks professional, takes our orders quick, has our drinks always filled up and serves our food fast!!! She's always very friendly and nice! The restrooms are always clean and handicap accessible for everyone. They have baby changing table too. The food is always good portions snd delicious. My friend has the senior breakfast and I tried the Cowboy B-Que hamburger. It was all delicious! They were nice enough to sing "Happy Birthday" to my friend!
