This morning we had the big steak omelet & pancakes. They warmed up the butter pecan syrup and it was delicious! My hubby had their healthier choice of egg whites, avocado, pesto plate. He said it was definitely "healthy". Mayte was our server and she was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. There has been updates made to the restaurant. IHOP is never my first choice of places to go eat, but hubby and I wanted pancakes and we weren't in the mood to dirty up our kitchen. So down to IHOP we went. And I have to say, it was probably the best IHOP experience I've had as an adult. Finally a spot close to home I wouldn't be embarrassed to take a friend or family member visiting from out of town. Service was friendly, the food was good quality, and the place is still clean, new, and spacious. My husband, toddler, and I had just tried eating at the breakfast club in menifee and had absolutely terrible customer service and ended up walking out before getting seated... As soon as we walked into this ihop, we were greeted so warmly and then seated within 5 mins! Also had a little snack cup for our toddler as we waiting for our food! The food is great, and the food was served in a timely manner. My wettrist Stephanie glowing personality is refreshing. The staff are so cheerful. Always smiling, they have very welcoming attitudes. I enjoy watching their teamwork while im waiting for my plate. They are extremely a great reflection of their manager. Kali, who sets a great example of what real leadership is about, as a retired Marine, I know leadership fist hand, and Kali leads from the rear as we Marines call it She doesn't lord ove her people. It was my first time to ihop. Overall, it was good because there were so many people lining up to get in and were enjoying their brunch. From my perspective, I thought everything was too heavy. So I'd suggest to order one and share between two people. I couldn't finish my omelette. read more

This is a 3/2023 review of this particular IHOP. We have been coming here to this IHOP for years and the manager (Kali) and her staff have made my family and I feel welcomed and part of their IHOP family. The staff are patient, courteous and attentive. They seat their customers in a timely and fair manner. The store is always clean and they decorate the store which, as a customer, displays their pride in their establishment. The owners of IHOP should be grateful for this type of dedication from their leadership team and employees. P.S our 12 daughter loves the flowers on the table and still remembers the little cups of fruit loops Kali would giver while we waited to be seated. read more

OK soooo...I don't know why I've never thought to review IHOP before, LOL. Their pancakes aren't the best, nor my favorite...but definitely consistent. I actually like their chicken fried steak & gravy. I forgot to snap pics...but the food was pretty and their stackable containers are great!!! We always order to-go & their curbside/front door pickup is ALWAYS great service with a smile (especially since I just pull up to the curb/front door, instead of parking in the designated spaces like a normal person post pandemic!) ***I literally just learned about the designated spaces, LOL! The family wanted breakfast so we decided to come to this IHOP cause it's close to our house. I always knew this IHOP was by my house but I never bothered to check it out until now. I really enjoy IHOP restaurants and the variety of food they have. Not to mention it's not that expensive but you do get what you pay for. This place was pretty busy which caught us by surprise because it's a weekday morning but there were lots of people eating here. Despite it being packed, I didn't have to wait long to get a table which was great. The waiter was very nice and helpful with a great attitude. I ordered myself their Spicy Poblano omelette. Now I'm not much of an omelette guy but this specific omelette was delicious! Other IHOP restaurants I've been to don't have as good of service as this one so I will definitely be coming here again soon. read more

Always good food going to IHOP. I wish it wasn't so busy every time we try to go, but other than that it's nice, clean and good food

We have came here for so many years, ownership has changed over the last 2 or so years and it's gone down hill. I went a few MONTHS ago, we had an issue with our food, spoke to the manager, can't remember her name. Decided to revisit last night, sure thing the same manager was working, not a problem, until she approached our table to remind us that she remembers the issue last time and to tell us that whatever my parents were discussing about eating that it didn't qualify for kids eat free (we know that) but the fact that she approached us after listening to our conversation to remind us that she remembers the issue from last time was extremely rude. The issues last time was the taste of the food sent from the kitchen. She is rude. She should not be a manager. I will not be going back to this location. Sad to watch it go downhill. The managers that were there before ownership change were amazing. These ones, not so much. read more

Since a new franchise owner has taken over, this location has gone down the sewer. Over the years this ihop had great service and great tasting food. NOW, the service is just ok but the food is terrible. If you have never dined here you might not notice, if you are used to eating garbage, but if you have ever eaten here before you will instantly taste the difference. My husband and I went to this I have to have breakfast this past Tuesday and we entered the restaurant when there was hardly anyone dining in there was an employee at the desk on the phone who never looked up at us to greet us or to say he would be right with us we stood there for nearly 10 minutes as he continued on a phone conversation and never acknowledge that we were even there so we left amazed that this had happened and Lake Elsinore. If this is the type of service that I have in Lake Elsinore is offering I strongly advise everyone to stay away! Extremely disappointed!! Online Ordering food is great but they literally can't ever get it right. Recently started using their online ordering. IHOP was late to the game with their online system, but damn are they doing it right with the food choices, how is packaged, and the prices. Specially Ihoopy hour items. BUT, they literally have NEVER gotten our order right. Does not matter if it's custom or not. They always get it wrong or forget an item or 2 and just ruin it every single time. Breakfast time are their busiest so I get it then. But when multiple items are missing there is jut no excuse. During dinner time there is less reason for the errors and they continue. But the food is good. I think we've done like 10 order at this point over a few months and every single order has been wrong. read more

Went to IHOP for a late lunch. I was totally shocked with the service. As far as the food it's substandard to what we have got in the past. Pancakes are tuff and not fluffy and are not perfect like before. As far as the slurp they only have one type. We asked for one slice of toast and they brought only one type of jelly didn't have a section. Then the bill we got charged $4 dollars for the toast. Sure miss Barbara and her ethics and crews. Wow, I've never written a review for this place!?!? Thanks for the reminder, Yelp! First off, a little story behind IHOP for me. When I was in college in Boston, there was one that was open 24 hours in the next town over and since I was one of the few college students with a car on campus, I would drive over there with my friends after a night of drinking at the bar. Then, when I met my husband (at the time, boyfriend), he skipped class to grab lunch with me at IHOP and it was sort of our first time lunching together. Now, we joke that IHOP is our place. This IHOP is like any other International House of Pancakes place. The cuteness of this place is that on weekends, especially after church, you'll find tons of families and elderly come and enjoy their lunch with their families. The wait isn't too bad and they give your kids these cute little containers filled with fruit loops. I'm not sure if this place still have a smoking side but I liked that I was able to eat without smoke in my face. I've never ordered the lunch here, since well, I always come here for breakfast food, even if it's 3 pm, because I can eat an omelette and pancakes at any time. One of my usual favorites is rooty tooty fresh n' fruity and of course the stuffed french toast. I also like to build my own omelette (similar to the Denver omelette but with sausage instead of ham).
