This was the first time here. Absolutely will never come here again. Food was ok and I'm being nice. I ordered the chorizo and eggs burrito and there wasn't any eggs in the burrito. It was hot when served and that was nice. I also ordered hash browns and bacon. The hash browns were cold as well as the bacon and the bacon was greasy. My husband ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns and wheat toast. He got eggs over easy. He didn't like their food as well. Coffee was watered down. Horrible coffee. The menus were filthy and hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. Service was very slow and not asked how the food was. Poor service. Ambiance. This place is a dive. It's filthy old worn out booths and dirty. This place has no ambiance. People rated 4.4 stars. Really overrated. It's definitely NOT a 4.4 star restaurant. read more

Was hoping for a better experience after such high ratings, Must have been the locals! Wasn't horrible, but wasn't great. Limited parking, really busy and fast highway in front. Not a very inviting front. A couple people pulled in, saw the restaurant, then left. No air conditioning. Chorizo and eggs were bland, needed salt and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The carnitas burrito was pretty good, the best of our dishes. Tostada was good. Menudo was supposed to be available on the weekends, but they were out by 10:30 on a Sunday. They were also out of guacamole for the taquitos. Overall average experience. I doubt if we'll be back. read more

Cute little spot on Highway 74. Super friendly and homemade food! We stopped on our way to Oceanside. We were the only table at the time but there is construction going on so it would be easy to miss. There were 5 of us, nobody was disappointed with their choice. Four of us chose something off the Mexican menu, delicious with homemade beans and rice. My daughter ordered a ham and cheese sandwich that she said reminded her of the way her grandma makes it! I'm a big fan of "holes in the wall" and this fits the description perfectly. Located on the north side of highway 74 this place is cozy and gives off family style vibes reminiscent of family breaks fast on a Sunday. The service is great, we were immediately greeted and the right expectations were set as they were pretty busy. Food was great I had the chicken fried steak, eggs, and hash brown. My wife had the 2 meat breakfast burrito. The portion and prices were just right, I am definitely coming back whenever I'm back out this way. I would give this place a 4.5 if I could. read more

A true gem of the desert, I moved from Los Angeles to Menifee about a year ago, me and my partner were so disappointed in the food around here, whether it was the quality or the price point (mostly the second one) but Annie's has got it both down, you really can't beat the prices here (seriously a whole enchilada plate for 5 bucks??) and the food is delicious, I really enjoy the small town cozy diner feel of this place, this place is a must try if you're in the area Im still getting around to trying the whole menu but I'm gonna enjoy every second of it TL;DR This place serves deliciously well priced food eat here read more

They make the gravy fresh every time and I'm a gravy snob. The biscuits are just as amazing and a perfect combo. Ok, enough about the B&G. We started going here every other day since we discovered it. I have never been any less than shocked with everything we have ordered. Their meats are so juicy and tender! Decided to come here on a whim. I always pass by but always forget it's a restaurant so it's easy to miss. I actually came on July 4th and they were working regular hours, which is to close by 2PM. My bf and I got there for lunch and they weren't too busy but still had orders coming in. There was another gentleman eating there at the time and also an older couple picking up an order Togo. While we were waiting for our food, someone else called in an order for Togo. My bf ordered the chicken friend steak and I ordered the steak ranchero. Both were good especially for the price but I liked mine better. I would definitely come back and try their other dishes and I'm always looking for a burrito spot so I look forward to that. read more

There was no AC. My husband got the Huevos Rancheros and they were okay. I had the Breakfast Burrito with Sausage and it was so so . Alright, here we go. My breakfast was homemade-like-Mom-made-it great, and the prices are almost unbelievably inexpensive. I mean, 5.75 for bacon, eggs and a pancake. My wife & I both ate for less than what just my last breakfast alone cost me at a "brunch place" recently, and that was with a 20% tip. Waiter was great, friendly and helpful, and coffee was grade-A diner, if you like it that way (I do!). Potential negatives; it is a pretty small place. There is very little parking out font, we parked on a nearby side street. At 10am on Saturday, we grabbed the last table. They have a couple family-sized booths, but only a couple. There was open bar-style sitting still available. They had ceiling fans, but only llimited AC. Wasn't too hot when we were there, but could be an issue on a hotter day. Even with small space, I'd be a regular if I lived closer. Good food at great prices. When does that happen anymore??? This is a cute little hidden gem in the city of Sun City! It is owned by a cute older couple & everything is homemade & fresh to order! It can be easily missed, considering it is right off HWY 74 but the food here is delicious and the prices are cheap (could you ask for anything more?!) They are open until 7pm during the week! Nice hometown feeling diner. Food is cheap and decent. It hasn't been remodeled in probably 20 years or more, but that's what makes it special. What makes it not special was the rat poop that was on the floor next to the booth I was sitting in. They have an A health rating...but I don't think I will be coming back based on the poop. The service was good. Also, the ketchup bottle looks like it's about three years old and and it's been refilled. Overall good diner, but the cleanliness is killing it. Have you ever been to that one of a kind hole in the wall that you just love Well this for me is Annie's. It may not be fancy but you get the authentic Mexican food I grew up in since I had a lot of Hispanic friend who's homes were open up to me and was well fed. I may be a Gringo but love my Mexican food and this place takes me back to my second homes. Their prices will take you back to the 70's and brings me back time and again. We are all about supporting local. We see this place all the time thought it was time to give it a shot. We ordered menudo, huevos rancheros, chicken fried steak, and two orders or biscuits a gravy and cost us $30. When we opened it at home, the chicken friend steak was a frozen chicken patty smothered in canned gravy next to nearly raw and paper thin hash browns and a sad looking egg. CLEARLY not chicken fried steaks. Biscuits under cooked and the huevos rancheros was a busted egg topped with shredded pork. I called and the lady stated the chicken fried steak was chicken. WTH it's supposed to be steak. Look, don't put things on your menu if A. You don't know what it is and B. You aren't going to make the best version of it. Aweful aweful aweful. Through it all away and ordered another breakfast from Corkys. Two words for you... NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more
