Country Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs.

I stumbled upon this place while driving around waiting for my dog to be groomed. The entire atmosphere and look reminded me of those small town places in movies. However this was real life. You walk into a market with fresh produce, dairy, pies, old school candy, ice cream, candles and more. The restaurant is in the back very cute. As I sat and waited for my order a regular walked in his name was Tom he will be 91 this August I believe and the waitress knew all this about him. Knew his order everything. In walks a couple they know Tom and the waitress as well knew they wanted HIC to drink. Towns and communities like these are places I wish existed more. What a Gem I discovered.

    Breakfast was great!

Food tasted great. Prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the table and menus had a smell of an old rag Made enjoying my food a little difficult because I kept getting the smell... They have a great small country store inside and loved the Shirley Temple bottles soda. It was made with real cane sugar.

Ohh, my God, this place is like a hole in a wall. The food is delicious The waitress is extremely nice. Got seated, right away.Food was on the table right away.Food was excellent

Food was ok for a country diner. Eggs were little overcooked and cheese not melted but flavor was good on everything. They do have great coffee but skip the tea.

After a nice hike first thing in the morning, we wanted to grab a bite to eat and were recommended Jolene's. I was excited to try because I love trying new spots and have never noticed it in the area before. We got a parking spot and walked over to the front, which I think was accidentally the back of the restaurant. We asked for a table for 3 and were asked to wait in the store, which had a lot more room. It was actually really fun to walk around and see what goods they sold, which ranged from freshly-made jelly to all kinds of beef jerky. It was a great way to keep us occupied, help sell locally-made products, and see what we've got in the area. We walked around for maybe 25 minutes before we were seated and tucked near the back of the restaurant. It was a pretty busy morning since we could see a lot of others waiting and many people that our server had to walk around and work with. Unfortunately, that meant we were waiting for a bit to get our orders, but we could tell it's because of how busy things were at the restaurant (it was around 11ish, so peak brunch time). When we got our food, we were pretty happy with our orders. I love when breakfast spots serve skillets, so I was happy to order the hometown skillet. I liked the mix of the skillet but was looking for a hotter mix and crunch with the skillet. It was still very tasty! The biscuits and gravy were just okay for us, since there wasn't much and not as flavorful as we hoped. The service, however, was very good and helpful in making sure we were satisfied after we did have our food. Overall, we were good with the meal and experience for the most part. I'd love to try some of their sweeter breakfast options and/or lunch menu the next time around.

This place was very cozy feeling, the area is such a nice farm environment and welcoming, the staff here were super nice and helpful with recommending options, the food was great a lot better than i expected it to be recommend coming here for brunch with your family.

My husband tries them everywhere we go " in search of" the best. The biscuit was fresh A+. Gravy great. It was year-end, tamales for sale by the dozen. We took home a dozen ( pork / chicken). We were pleased to receive a green and a red sauce, didn't expect that! At home, tried both types, with both sauces. We recommend their tamales for sure, especially pork with the red sauce.
