I will start with the positives. The guacamole was fresh! The chips were CRISP. And they never leave an empty soda cup long before replacing it with a new one. But: the entrees were awful and the restaurant was dirty. I ordered iced tea and had to as the server three times for sugar - even though I asked for it when I ordered. - only sodas get that attention I guess. lol I ordered grilled salmon, rice and broccoli They were out of broccoli and offered me asparagus. I said ok. (They later up charged me for it) and everything was over done? The asparagus looked dried out. The stalks hadn't been trimmed - just not good. Half of them couldn't be eaten because of how fibrous they were. Not peeled. Not trimmed. Just tossed on the plate. Wish I had taken a photo of them before I choked down the tips. (The only thing I COULD eat) The salmon was so overcooked it was jerky. And had a crust on it that said heating lamp for hours. Or maybe even yesterday's reheated? No amount of lemon could save that fish. My husband ordered the fajita trio.. and the steak I did get a photo of - looked like a science experiment. The photos don't do it justice but it had such an odd color and texture like it had been microwaved too many times and he said it tasted really off so he just ate the chicken. While sitting there NOT eating I was looking around and noticed these lamps hanging in the lobby/waiting area that I don't think they have ever seen a dusting. Will not be going back. Finally sat my curious self down inside Chili's instead of just checking out their takeout menu like usual. We normally get the party platters for pickup. My kids always eat here when I'm not home, so I had to inspect the scene... call it a mom mission w a side of steak. Service was spot-on. Our server checked in like a friendly neighbor who actually checks to make sure you dont need anything else. I ordered the classic ribeye (bc i like my protein beefy), and my daughter got the honey Chipotle crispers. Everything tasted cozy, like someone's kitchen decided to get a little fancy. My wife and I frequent this chilis and have always had really great experiences at this location. Today though, we went in for dinner with our son and stood in the entryway for 10 minutes with staff just passing by and no one even said "welcome, be with you in a moment" so with our son looking at us like "what are we doing?" My wife finally said HI to one of the greeters who was just standing there ignoring us. They then sat us a one of the tall tables that wasn't exactly toddler friendly but we decided to take it because we just wanted to be seated. Then our server, asked if we wanted drinks so we placed our order. She requested to see ID for both of us and when she got to mine she said do you have one that's not expired? I had no idea mine just expired a week ago so I looked and pulled out my FIREARM SAFETY CERTIFICATE to which she said no. I get it's the law, but come on. It expired a week ago and I just turned 30. In clearly 30. Just crazy how this interaction 2 whole minutes after we practically had to seat ourselves. Service was just poop, zero stars if I could. read more

Service is always consistently good. Ambiance is normal for a chain restaurant. I have experienced damaged benches and chairs before, but that is par for the course for an establishment such as this. The food is usually good, but I have had some poor experiences. I placed a delivery order on chilis.com and it was fulfilled by DoorDash. The delivery came late, cold, and missing items. I clicked the get help link on my order tracking and was directed to Chilis. When I spoke with the manager she stated it was not Chilis problem and I would need to call DoorDash. She went so far as to give me the 800 number for DoorDash. After spending time calling DoorDash they let me know the order was not charged by them so they could not refund me but they could refund chilis for my meal. So I had to call chilis back to find my refund. Beware - if you're placing a delivery order (straight from their website even) they will take no ownership when there is an issue with your order, they will make you fight to get a refund and they'll try to pass the blame to a 3rd party company you didn't even ask to use. Your food will likely be cold because apparently they contract with the cheapest delivery service so the drivers deliver multiple orders at a time and your meal may come 30-40 minutes after it was picked up from the Chilis location (I only live 15 mins away for the record). The "not our problem" customer service mentality of this establishment is insane! read more

My family and I like this location. It smells clean, the servers are all friendly, and the food is good! This is my daughter's favorite place to go to :). I go by myself with my three toddlers, we share a triple dipper, side of fries, and a side salad. It's enough to fill us up and under $40! We are so grateful for the affordable prices and yummy food. They allow me to have two of the tablet thingys so my kids won't fight over one. It's a relaxing experience for us all, because of this small gesture. Thank you guys! read more

Food was great but the service was honestly terrible. It was my boyfriends 21st birthday and I had requested that he had gotten chocolate cake for the celebration. Generally Tex Mex wouldn't be my cup of tea, however Chili's has stolen my heart of casual decent dining. The atmosphere on any occasion is friendly and vivacious. The staff is incredible, they are soo cool some even remember my special request with no sauce on my burgers. Lol. The Temecula location has Eric the Bartender who has a gift to remembering even the smallest details and makes you feel wanted in his restaurant. Art is at the Hemet location and wow, his ability to make anyone who walks in that door feel that they are returning family. He gets your orders correct quickly and his customer service is second to none. We had a wonderful dinner here a few weeks ago. I always say Chili's has the best sirloin, and this one was perfection. I also love the black beans and broccoli. Due to insufficient seating inside we sat outside to wait. At approximately 2: 00 pm, I received notification that we were number two on the wait list At 2:18 pm, I received a text stating that my name had been taken off the list. I contacted the server for an explanation, which she was unable to explain. She stated that a table would be available when the previous guests who had paid left, and they cleaned the table. Do Not try the Salmon, I have given it two chances and both times I got food poisoning. This restaurant used to be good but I dont know if they changed their supply source and hired new team members or what but everything on the menu is trash now except for the chicken tortilla soup and they even burn that too. Service is kind and attentive but can be hit or miss. Jess our waitress was attentive and helpful. The special margarita was a mixture of a lemon drop martini and a margarita and was so yummy for $6.
