All the fixin's. Reminds me of Thanksgiving.

Great family-owned Creole restaurant in Murrieta. Their chicken is delicious with a light, crispy coating. Mac and cheese is just like homemade. And the yams are like candy and our fave side dish. We've been coming here for years and the cornbread tastes different. Not complaining because it tastes better! The prices have definitely gone up since the last time we came but it's rare to find good soul food like this anywhere.

So, if I could give a half staring would. I've been waiting for them to re open. I ordered the same thing I always order. The shrimp dinner with fried okra and Parmesan garlic fries. The okra what little was in the container was over cooked and just gross. I have no idea what they put in my container with the okra but it wasn't okra. I don't know if I got the bottom of the barrel or what. The shrimp was overcooked as well. Very disappointed as we come here often as a family and I doubt we will be back.

Found a smth that looks like a worm (pretty sure it is) in my fish. Let's hope they cooked it properly. It ruined everything for me. Would never go back

3pc Sharon's Famous Fried Chicken. Not worth. Bland and disappointed. Look how thin and tiny the chicken is. This was $20.....

Oh man... I found out there's new management/owners and I'm so disappointed. The interior and menu is pretty much the same but the food isn't made with love or care anymore. The portions changed and the taste really isn't worth coming back. I tried the "famous" 3 pcs chicken for the first time and they give me 2 dry wing tips and 1 dry wing. How is this "meal" supposed to fill anyone up? I imagine they had the audacity because I'm a smaller figure but I would be ashamed to serve this to someone who is taller/larger. 70% of the chicken was bones and you expect anyone except a 8 year old to be full? This is basically a kids meal for an adult price. Every other fried chicken pic in the past has a big thigh but of course new management wants to cut corners. The debris fries were slightly better. The gravy is just salty soup which was meh. So sad because this place used to be my favorite for soul food. I miss the previous owners. The previous chef once came out to greet everyone in the restaurant and even hooked us up with sweet yam syrup for the beignets we ordered. I don't think this place has the soul for the soul food anymore. $100 dinner for 4 pcs of small dry chicken, salty fries, and audacity. They gave me a thigh after I mentioned the tiny portion but I'm still hungry... I'm 110 lbs. This 3 (actually 4) pcs dinner can't fill a 110 lbs woman. I can't imagine how many plates would be needed for an average man. Would not recommend or return. The greed is too much. Something's wrong if we have to go to in and out after to feel full.

This place is fire! I goggled around my area and this came up and now it will be a regular spot to visit. The collard greens were done to perfection even my picky eater kid ate it up, the Peach Cobbler and German Chocolate Cake are very much worth the price. The music was one of the best parts, but by far the service we received was just like home. This spot can take all my money!

I usually come here with family on vacation. There's plenty of parking outside and they have a good amount of seating. I tried their sampler platter of four lagniappe (appetizers) to try. Their beef sausage po'boy ($16) and beignets ($13) were great. The po'boy came with a side of sweet potato fries and it was seasoned heavily with cinnamon. Beignets were fluffy and soft. My mom likes their shrimp etoufee. It comes with white rice on the side but it was hard and undercooked. It has a good amount of heat to it. The lagniappe plate ($17) I chose were 4 small bowls of their gumbo, etoufee, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. Their hushpuppies and maque choux which is corn with bell peppers, celery, and onions were also good. Their fried chicken was good too, crispy skin and seasoned, juicy meat. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

Dillon was so thoughtful and kind. The food was good, service was amazing, but we couldn't enjoy our food because the A/C did not seem to work. It was 77+ degrees (I don't think the thermostat was working). It felt like the peak of summer in the desert inside the restaurant. It might have been cooler outside. Their AC has been out more days than I can count. PLEASE fix it.

We love the beignets here!! But we're so shocked to see when we opened the to go box! These are not beignets! so disappointed!

We always enjoy ourselves when we come here. The food is amazing. My favorite are the sweet potatoes. Gumbo is delicious, that's the hubby's favorite. I also enjoy the Jambalya. Service is always great. Shout out to all the servers. It's a nice cozy spot but they do offer outside seating.

Catfish platter greens and Mac N Cheese

First timers and we are definitely returning. We ordered catfish and fried chicken. Sides included red beans rice, greens, Mac n cheese, and yams. Everything was a 10/10. Although we drove 40 minutes we were not disappointed. The flavors and seasoning was on point. Service was excellent and friendly. Mia was outstanding. A friend recommended this place to us and they live in Victorville so we knew it must be good. Oh and the homemade watermelon lemonade was delicious.

AMAZING FOOD! I only wish I lived closer to Sharon's Creole Kitchen. The food was incredibly delicious--so good it left me wanting more even after I was full. Portions were generous, which was perfect since I came with a group of mountain bikers and we ordered a variety of dishes to share and try. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, but my favorite was the 4-plate sampler--you get a little bit of everything, and it's the perfect way to experience the menu. We were so full we didn't even make it to dessert... which just means we have a reason to come back!

We ordered crab legs, shrimp, white rice and garlic bread. The garlic bread was hard but it was flavorful. I don't send it back because we were hungry and it was $2.00. Now, on to the food. The crab was really fresh and good but the prices for what you get are absolutely insane. I don't know how the shrimp was because my daughter ordered the shrimp. She ate it all so I'll assume the shrimp was good. I doubt that we will return to this establishment as the price just doesn't match up what you get. Our bill was literally $195.00 for three people. My husband and I live in Escondido but we were in Murrieta for a few hours. He was told about this place and we decided to try it. So glad we did. From the perfectly seasoned fried catfish to the creamy mac and cheese and flavorful collard greens filled with spice. The Oxtail with gravy over rice was tender and full of rich flavor. It fell off the bone the minute you touched it. The candied yams and rice and red beans made for the perfect sides. So good!! The portions were generous and you will leave with a satisfied stomach. I only received 2 oxtails and they were ALL fat, NO meat and they were super salty. I couldn't even eat them. The rice tasted several days old; it was heard. The menu did not say the gumbo was spicy or I would've never ordered it. I paid extra for crab, but it was not in the gumbo. I ordered the large gumbo but received the small container. I paid $115 which was very pricey, especially since the portions were small and the oxtails were all fat and WAY too salty. The greens were tasty and I loved the yams and cornbread. I didn't care for the negative comments written on my to go containers, one of which was written in bright red marker and said "GREENS ARE SPICY READ THE MENU!" That to me was not necessary or kind, especially when I've been a loyal patron. For $115 I expect to receive EVERYTHING I paid for, better quality and better customer service.

When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.
