Reservations recommended, and you have to call them (they don't use OpenTable or another service). There's always a packed house and the service is pretty good. They serve large portions, but we've had our chef burn our food pretty bad a few times. When we do come, it feels like we go more for the experience than the quality of the food. read more

They are always pretty busy so call for a reservation or expect a wait. I think that being busy is indicative of running a successful establishment that provides a wanted product. They have a wide variety of appetizers. The crispy rice is our absolute favorite. Sometimes we just do 4 orders of crispy rice for pick up and eat that for our movie night. Crispy rice is deep fried rice rectangles with spicy tuna and a delicious thin sauce on top. Can't get enough, but don't fill up before the show begins. Every show we have experienced has been entertaining and exciting. Each different chef has their own unique moves as they make your fried rice and entree on a huge flat iron grill as you and your party sit along the perimeter. The waiter staff are always available and they keep tasty adult beverages coming. It is best to try and sit directly in front of the chef because you might get a special shrimp treat. Do not hesitate to communicate with the chef; they have special sauces available that are not necessarily offered. My favorite is to ask them to cut the fat off of the ribeye steak and grill the fat eXtra crispy. Then, I ask for the spicy sauce on my steak and shrimp. My wife's favorite is the ginger salad dressing that comes with the dinner salad. They have a decent selection of sushi that is always delicious. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how long we had to wait before they got started. We were literally sitting in our seats for almost an hour. When the chef came he was good and the food was really flavorful. So the meal itself was good. I don't know if our waitress was just overwhelmed or new or whatever but she was slow to refill our drinks as well. Great experience once things got rolling. It was just super slow to get our food cooking and slow to get our drinks refilled once it did start. But the meal itself was awesome. I'd give this spot another try. Was passing through the area for work. Decided to stop in. No nonsense rolls, a huge variety, good Sake options. Overall it's a good spot quality wise especially being a chain spot.. what made this place great though, the chef named Cyril. What a guy! He had amazing suggestions, and was quick. This was my first time at this restaurant. We had reservations so we were seated promptly. The ambiance was very nice, it was busy and loud. People were laughing and the music was nice, at least for me most of the songs were 80's. Our chef was friendly. He was a bit difficult to understand because the place is loud and he had a mask on, but we enjoyed his tricks. The food was ok. It lacked seasoning, there are no salt or pepper shakers anywhere. The restaurant rules. The food is dynamite. The presentation is akin to a drum solo at a Rush concert. This particular restaurant, we've had two issues with, one time we ordered pickup, and they didn't have it, didn't have a record of it. But we definitely were talking to the person that took our order over the phone. The other thing was we had a reservation on a holiday, and they completely did not have a record of it, told us, oh well, if you booked it on the website we don't see those. Like... okay? Don't have an option on your website. They didn't seat us and we all had to go somewhere else. But still, the place rules. Just avoid holidays. Maybe call several times to check on your reservations? Fun experience! We celebrated a birthday there and it was lively & a lot of fun. Our chef was awesome, very talkative, put on a show, & played music! It got the table going! Food was great but we could barely taste the alcohol in our drinks. We ordered the maitai. Four stars because it was very hot, like a sauna. I hadn't eaten all morning and I was HUNGRY. Normally hunger will help make most meals even tastier, unfortunately no amount of starvation could make my teriyaki chicken less dry. We opted not to do the grill and just sit down. The service was nice, props for having really friendly staff (super courteous.) I don't know if the lunch crowd gets the previous night leftovers, but the steak, chicken, rice, everything but the crab mix in the California roll was dry and almost stale. I'm still hungry but I couldn't finish my food. (I despise wasting food but what can you do? The damage was done.) Maybe if you get the grill you get the fresh food? I love hibachi! I mean who doesn't? We have been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. We usually opt to sit at the grill rather than a booth mainly for the entertainment. We were in a group but my husband and I ordered the filet minion & chicken dinner which was about $34 so for both of us it was $69 for the meal. It included salad, miso soup or onion soup, meat of choice, vegetables & rice. You really can't go wrong with hibachi. The ginger sauce was so delicious I had them give me extra. Our server was nice and so was the man who was making our delicious meal. After a bit of entertainment we decided to order a desert. We got a banana tempura ice cream combo. Trust me, it is as good as it sounds! Banana was deep fried in tempura served with vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Are you kidding me? My mouth is still watering. Of course we devoured the entire thing. The banana dessert was around $8. Our total was over $100. But still it was so worth it. I absolutely love this place. Next time I'd love to try the sushi! I can't wait to come back. This place does seem to fill up fast we were lucky to get in without a reservation but definitely get one to be sure you sit at the grill. It was a little hot in here. Everyone seemed to think the food tasted delicious & we all really raved about the fried rice especially. It's a sauna, the air conditioner was off until about 15min before we left. It took them 1 hour and 40min to start cooking because the waitress left our ticket with the order on the table. We were not even given an opportunity to order desert. Management apologized for the wait but made no effort to make things right. It's loud and packed with people. The chef was nice, the food was good. But we won't return and risk being hostages for another 2 and a half hours. read more

I called two weeks ago to make reservations for my husband, daughter and I to celebrate our birthday! They texted me the day before to confirm which I did for 5:00 pm we showed up 15 minutes early and the one hostess could not find my reservation. I said you texted me yesterday and I confirmed the other hostess finally found us. She said are you all here I said my daughter is parking and I would like to go to the bar to get a drink it is my birthday and I will be ready at 5 she said okay but then sent someone to bother us that we needed to be checked out at the bar by 5 really!!!!! We were seated at 5. We ordered with Zane and she was fine! We then had Louis come to cook. It was immediately apparent to us that Louis had his friends at our table 3 men and a child then us! He completely ignored us and asked them if the child was okay with the fire on the smile he made with oil. it was apparent that the child was not so we absolutely had no show of anything after that. He completely ignored us. We could see at the other tables that the customers were really enjoying the tricks their chefs were performing but Louis was only interested in conversing with his friends. At one point one of the friends said to Louis hey throw us some shrimp which was not what they ordered so Louis and the friend looked around to see if someone was looking and Louis made sure that half our food was given to his friends! At one point the friends ordered a bottle of sake and he was drinking with them! It was so absolutely absurd and unprofessional! At the end Zane brought out one dessert and hat and I had to remind her it was both my husband and my birthday so she quickly sent someone for another dessert and hat! We were then approached by a little girl trying to sell us candy! Again really!!! I am disappointed to write this review. We ate here often and dined-in last Saturday 4/24/21 with my mom, grandma and husband. My mom and I got sick with food poisoning on Saturday night from the salad/ranch we had. After getting extremely sick I came on Yelp and noticed another review mentioned there was wet paper towels in their salad. Disgusting! It is now Friday (almost a week later) and I have tried contacting the restaurant several times requesting to speak with the GM. I spoke to one of the supervisors and have left several messages hoping to receive a courtesy call back. Still nothing! At this point, I can't help but think that they are intentionally avoiding the situation. We will definitely not be returning here. read more

On a date-day lunch my wife and I decided to try this restaurant. We wanted to avoid some of the (Temecula) mall madness - with this being on the outskirts of the mall, fit the bill. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and upbeat and the food was above average (the appetizer, bacon-wrapped scallops are a MUST TRY!).
