Not a bad walk from our Airbnb. They weren't busy when we went there on a Sunday for our takeout dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment looks interesting inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wasn't that crazy though about my vegetarian slice of pizza. It just didn't taste that great. Maybe it was the ingredients. The price was fine though. Customer service was fine as well.

We decided to check out Rocco's on a random night when we suddenly were craving pizza. We could easily walk in and get a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was very interesting. They have big neon signs of different beer brands. The ambience is nice and moody.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast. We tried the herb focaccia and the burrata caprese. Both were delicious! We then tried pizza by the slice specials. We tried a slice of the veggie pizza which was loaded with different veggies and the meat lovers pizza slice which had sausage. Both were really delicious. The prices are very affordable too. We also tried some draft. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, a fun and casual place to quickly grab some great pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Back at Rocco's again and had a really good time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was nice and chill; really comfortable and it made for an easy place to hang out and enjoy the night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees were all super friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. The pizza was really good and hit the spot. A special shoutout to the bartender, Janessa, she is so sweet and made us feel taken care of! Definitely a solid spot and one I'll always come back to. Parking is limited and different to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is spacious and large making it good for medium sized groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Slices are humongous. Get 2 if you're really hungry. Otherwise one and an appetizer or something smaller would be enough. Overall, Rocco's is a good place for some delicious pizza. Portions are huge and service is good.

We stopped by here on the way back from Pike Place to our hotel by the Space Needle. Food was great and the service was also very good, but it's still a little hard to justify the price for a pizza place. Then again, I'm biased since my wife and I tend to pick fast casual places over fancy sit down experiences. We sat outside since the weather was nice (even in the early evening). It can be a little awkward since there's some sketchy folks in the neighborhood, but they have a host at the entrance that does a good job policing the area. My wife took a peek inside and said the bar was very cool-looking. So maybe we'll try sitting inside next time. Regardless, our server came by pretty regularly and was helpful / patient with our questions, so all good. We grabbed a local root beer and it was good enough to get a second. They do seem to have a solid beer and mixed drink selection. Wife and I shared a brussel sprout and pork belly appetizer but got the spicy sauce on the side in case it was too spicy. It wasn't too bad so we'd probably get it on next time. We also split a half portion of the mushroom pizza, aptly named "Fun Guy". It was absolutely delicious, and their portion sizes are plenty big enough for my wife and I. Mushrooms were plentiful and the sauce went perfectly with the pie and shrooms. Like I mentioned, I still think the prices are a little high, but it's probably what you'll need to expect for downtown Seattle. Definitely worth checking out if you're picky about the quality of your pizza.

Lively pizza shop with a bar. They have good options for single slices, which typically also includes a vegetarian slice. The pizza is decent, maybe not my top choice but still pretty good (lots of flop in the pizza if you're into that). Quick service for how busy they are.

Great happy hour every day 11-4pm. Getting a 50% off cocktail and a delicious pizza by the slice is a great deal. Yesterday I had the burrata caprese and devoured it.

I think the hype here is to order the 20 inch pizza, which you can split in half to taste two different types, and that's exactly what we did. We ordered half chicken con queso and half three little piggies. It came out fairly quickly, and it tasted good. The flavors were slightly off for us and a little too greasy. Overall, our service was good. It filled up quickly after we arrived (6:15pm on a Sunday), so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The ambiance inside is great - it's a bit on the darker side, which could make for a great date night, but it's not very romantic, if that makes sense.

Amazing creative pizzas from global recipes. My mom and I shared a Vegetarian Banh Mi Pizza which was expensive but well worth it. We even had slices to bring to the hotel for leftovers before our ferry to Victoria. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very nice and I can imagine it is hard to get a table on weekends as it was quite full on a weeknight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was very friendly as well and we saw them make the pizzas as we walked out.

Some of the best pizza I've tried in Seattle! I love that you can order by the slice, two was plenty for dinner. About $8 per slice as of 2025. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is stunning[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

My son and I saw the good reviews and thought we would try this place on a Friday evening after a long travel day. We were walk-ins but were seated at the bar immediately. The bartender let me sample a craft beer before I chose a full pour of a craft cider. My son enjoyed the bartender's choice of a whisky sour. We ordered the $60 20-inch eight-slices round extra large loaded potato bacon specialty pizza. It was delicious and incredibly filling. We need to take half back to the Airbnb. I also had their homemade root beer, the best I ever had. There are low and high tops, booths, bar, and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Clean. Seattle Belltown prices. Posted 3% credit card fee. I recommend reservations during peak times and only order a large slice if you don't want to take some home. I don't know why several people trashed this place in reviews. The loaded potato bacon specialty pizza was the best I've had since Basic in San Diego, and I would return to this establishment.

We come here at least twice a year and it's probably for a birthday. We usually make a reservation for 5 or 6 people and we always sit at the same table in the corner. The service is always super attentive and the server is always rock, always nice, friendly and helpful, this time wasn't any different. We ordered a bottle of wine to split, this time we got 2 bottles because the Cabernet was that tasty. We usually order the Caesar Salad, which we enjoy, but this time we got the House Salad. The house salad was light and fresh, the almonds were a good added touch. The Garlic Bread was cheesy melted delicious goodness, the perfect mix garlic, cheese and the marinara sauce. There were 10 pieces and it was perfect to split among 5 people. And now onto the main course, we got half Bahn Mi and Half Lasagna. The Bahn Mi is always our favorite, very unique flavors on a pizza, a flavor explosion of tasty, excitedness. We hadn't tried the Lasagna before, but I liked it, the sausage, cheese and sauce all on a pizza, it was delicious too! In my opinion, I still think the Bahn Mi is the best pizza, but ALL the pizzas I've tried at Rocco's have been amazing! We can't wait to go back for another birthday celebration. read more

I arrived dumb late on a Sunday night, only to find many restaurants around my hotel were already closed. I needed some food, and I didn't want to sit down anywhere. I pulled out my trusty yelp app and found Rocco's. Anytime I can get a slice to go, I'm game. I walked over and was shocked to find the way we're playing Pete Rock. Oh snap! A little unexpected. It's my first time in Seattle, so I'm happy to find hip hop heads who appreciate pizza. I ordered my slice of cheese to go, and only had to wait a few minutes, which was enjoyable b/c Pete Rock...duh. The space is dope too. It is dark, like a speakeasy, but hiding in plain sight. It has nice booths and big windows out front for people watching. It's also really chill and private for a date. I saw a few couples in there. They serve a solid slice of cheese. I'm only sad I was traveling alone, so I could order a pie, but I will be back when I'm in town again, and I'll be bringing a friend. I love to share good food spots, and this spot is a gem. read more

We've tried dinning at Rocco's twice as the world reopens from COVID lockdown. For some reason Rocco's staff thinks it's the early 2000s Seattle where being rude to diners was cool. We're all trying to survive a pandemic and keep local businesses in service KINDNESS IS KING. Both times we went the hostesses were super rude but the second time took the cake. We did not have a reservation but we're willing to wait for an outside table (to keep our unvaccinated 7 year old safe) After waiting 30mins the hostess sat another family at the table who did not have a reservation. The family confirmed they didn't but when I approached the hostess she shrugged us off. While the Pizza is delicious at Rocco's it's not worth dealing with the staff. Head to Belltown Pizza if service matters to you. read more

We weren't exactly hungry but we were craving something salty and savory while in the area. Pizza sounded perfect but didn't want a whole pie so pizza by the slice it was and Rocco's yielded our Yelp search. Picked up five slices to-go to take back to our hotel and they were damn good. I'm usually a Neapolitan style fan however their pizzas (similar to NY but not as floppy) was piping hot, crispy crust and delightfully cheesy. The sauce burnt my gums but I had no regret - it was absolutely worth it. read more

I had a slice of the meat pizza for a take-out lunch. At $7, it's not a bad deal these days however, the receptionist that takes the order can work on her attitude. With the AC unit blasting above the door, she could not hear my order. Instead of politely asking me to repeat she screams "I can't hear you!". After asking for my name and failing once again to hear me over the blasting AC, she threw her hands up in the air and said "Never mind!". They can either get a quieter AC unit or have her work on her reception skills or just hire a new person with a background in the hospitality industry. The slice of meat pizza was just OK. read more

I went to the place on the weekend. They suggested me to make an online reservation, which I did. Instead of giving me the high table (which I reserved), they gave me a normal table as per my request. We ordered a focaccia bread and pizza. Both of them were really good. The ambiance was good. Servers helped us a lot. Also, the overall interior was awesome. Everything was perfect. I would recommend going there a little bit early otherwise it can get crowded read more

OH MY OH MY! This is one of the best pizza places I have been too! Not only is the atmosphere so unique in itself the pizza is a standout! My friends and I decided to come to Rocco's around 5:15 with a reservation of course because the lines get super long. The drink menu is cool, it's inside children books haha. Weird but unique. The prices now are kind of pricey but I think the quality of the food you are getting is definitely worth it. While pizzas fall in the mid to high $30 range. The pizzas are 20 inches! You won't want to be eating this pies alone.... The pizza that we decided to get was the loaded baked potato and the lasagna. The loaded baked potato was amazing! The bacon and the potatoes made it taste like breakfast. The lasagna literally tasted like lasagna with the ricotta cheese. Show your respect for one of the best slices of pizza ever! read more

There's a long wait but it's cause their food is sooooo good. Make sure to get the loaded garlic cheese bread! They also have some pretty unique pizza options, like the gyro, which is to dye for! We will definitely be revisiting when we go back to Seattle. read more

We went there after a Mariners game on a Saturday night. We sat outside on the patio as it was a surprisingly warm night. Our server was very prompt, never had an empty glass and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The pie itself was great, definitely in the top 3 beat all time pizzas I've ever had. There were four of us so a large did us fine, 2 slices each (slices are large). Definitely will be going back there on my next visit! read more

I love this place - unique pizza topping ideas, great interior. Would serve as both a nice casual date place or a place to just hang out with a small group of friends/family. The pizzas are very large but you can do a half and half, so I'd suggest just getting a large pizza and taking home leftovers. I did half Stacey & Tina's Night Out (amazing, my fave, would do again - it's banana peppers and meatballs) and half banh mi (pulled pork is a bit too salty). Fun bar menu. I came to this place right after landing to Seattle. After 6hrs of longest flight I was sure looking forward for good food. The pizza here was just amazing but the food wait was horrible, I waited for an hr to eat and by the time food came my hinder was gone... I really should've written this a long time ago...but here it goes. Found this place on yelp while on vacation. I wouldn't say it's your average pizza place because it has a nice bar and pretty cool decor too. We came here for lunch on a weekday and it was pretty dead. We were served right away and ordered our usual and controversial, pineapple pizza. It took about 30 minutes since they don't make them until they're ordered. It was so good! I'm a lover of thin crust and it had just the right amount of cheese. I'd definitely come back here because my boyfriend and I still talk about how great this spot was. The only thing to beware of, they bake the pizza in an open oven. This isn't unusual but when we left, our eyes were on fire! It got a little smokey. Either way, next time I'm in Seattle, I'll make sure to stop by. read more

I hate going out for pizza as I am so often disappointed. Either the crust sucks or the sauce sucks or the toppings suck or some combo of the three. But this place was really great. I was very much in the mood for vegan pizza, anticipating going to plum's since I was in the city, but settled for Rocco's since we had a big party. Our party ordered a half bahn mi half (not vegan pizza), a garlic cheese bread appetizer, and a half cypriot half funguy vegan pizza. My friends really, really enjoyed what they got. I think for a non vegan, this place seems amazing. I enjoyed the vegan pizza up to a point, but it became unbearable after a while because it was too sticky and too dry. I think the vegan pizzas at Rocco's focus very, very heavily on vegan cheese. There was an unbelievable amount of vegan cheese on their pizzas, but there was no pizza sauce. I feel like pizza sauce is something fairly easy to make without dairy, and it would have added a lot to our meal. read more

Their pizza is expensive, excessively salty, and their online ordering is useless because they still only start making the order once you arrive to pick it up. Honestly, I can handle the expense and waiting if their pizza is made with super high quality ingredients, but they need to reduce the salt, I feel sick/need to drink multiple glasses of water after eating their pizzas. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place after a Sounders game one night. We appreciated it was open late. We sat at the bar at first it was difficult to get served by one of the bartenders. Eventually one of the bartenders (female) I apologize I don't remember her name, helped us. The pizza slices were great along with the salad. We were both delighted to see the wall of hard to find Whisky and liquor. We highly recommend trying them out.Greek Salad read more

We had a full day of travel and sight-seeing around the city and I was ready to gnaw on my husband's arm by the time we got to Rocco's. Thank goodness we chose Rocco's because it was amazing food and we got a TON of it! We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and Stacy & Tina's Night Out for our pizza choice. The meatballs were hot, fresh, and delicious! They were served covered in cheese with toasty bread on the side. Stacy and Tina's Night Out was packed full of flavor! These slices were HUGE. The toppings were fresh and had the perfect amount. My final rave about Rocco's is so simple....cucumber infused water. We literally went through three bottles of the stuff when we were there. It was refreshing and the perfect drink to have with our heavy meal. If you're looking for excellent pizza in Seattle, Rocco's is your place! read more

Hands down, best pizza in Seattle! Even better deal on HH slices! After HH pizza appetizers elsewhere... sorry Tom, we come to Rocco's for the main event. Too bad the kid filled up already and had to endure watching adults eat more pizza. To top off his frustration, the kids' books on table are really menu covers. Haha sorry buddy. Excellent pizza! The four of us could not finish a large pizza (1/2 pesto chicken and 1/2 barbecue chicken) because it was so big. Nice selection of beer and hard liquor. The atmosphere was great too. read more

Not a fan. They get an A for atmosphere but service was very mediocre and the pizza was equally mediocre and unsatisfying. It looks like a very cool dive, but the pizza was so disappointing and relatively high priced. A little cramped too in the small space there. I did go at lunch time and was sober, which I could tell was not the case of many other day drinking customers. I wonder how many 4 and 5 star reviews came from customers that were drinking a lot before or during their meals. That may explain the higher reviews, and the low customer bar for pizza quality. Just another trendy Belltown joint that I think is more popular because they have a bar and it looks like it should be cool. Will leave this place for the others who it somehow works for. read more

Quite possibly the best pizza we've ever had. Not sure how to even describe it otherwise. Awesome beer list, awesome cocktail list. I asked the guy that appeared to be the bar boss to make me something with gin and he made me the fanciest drink ever. HE SET MY ROSEMARY ON FIRE. Loved it all. BRUHHHHHHH who has the best vegan pizza in the land. Rocco's does! get whatever drink you want made however you want it. As a visitor to the city, I absolutely loved this place. Sat on the second floor which was much less busy and quieter. Someone had old school rap playing on the speaker for added bonus. I forgot my waiters name but the dude was helpful and knowledge about all things Rocco's. AND!!! I left my hat in the shop and he ran half a block to bring it to me. If I had cash on me I would have gave it to him. but he was tipped nicely so I didn't feel too bad read more

First time in last week. I eat all over downtown all the time, money isn't an issue for me but value is. The food was good, service was good enough. However the price of a pizza at 50$ let me know i was paying more for the ambiance than the product or service. Also of note, the undersized beer glasses and pitcher are substandard. read more

So, we came here and ordered each a slice of pizza. It was late night so we could only choose the pizzas by the slice. There was like 4 choices all reasonable. 30mins our ready pizza by the slice wasn't brought to us. The waiter didn't ever check up on us either. After flagging a waiter down, our waiter realized she didn't even put our order in. 45 mins in, we got our pizzas. Butttttttt, it was worth the wait. The pizzas were delicious. I was visiting my daughter who lives in Seattle last week.I desperately needed to find a place that serves good pizza and tried out Rocco's after perusing restaurants on Yelp. Now let me be clear on this...I would give Rocco's 5 stars but I noticed on Yelp that a five star rating gets kicked to the "filtered" catagory so I opted for4 stars to be safe. I actually read the filtered reviews and decided to give this place a try and I am glad I did. I too am from New York so I have high standards for pizza. Rocco's did not disappoint. The crust was thin and crisp and the sauce had a fresh, home made taste. I dont know why previous reviewers were so negative about this place. The decor is very unique and sophisticated ..not a typical pizza joint atmosphere. I cant review the shrub drinks since I stuck with wine, but the bar is fully equipped and the drinks I saw being made looked wonderful. My wine was a generous amount for the price and paired well with the salad I ordered. The greens were crisp and flavorful and the salad was lightly dressed as I had requested. The service was top notch and the wait staff was able to answer all my questions regarding the menu. I find this commendable for a restaurant that has only recently opened. A lot of the reviews on Yelp seem to love to nit pick a business (perhaps a result of our reality TV mind set) and I have read unfair reviews of restaurants and businesses that I frequent in my hometown of Saratoga, NY. After having excellent food and service in a classy, sophisticated restaurant like Rocco's I feel that people should be presented with a more accurate appraisal of the place. The negative reviews sound like they are written by competitors. I am glad I read the filtered reviews, otherwise I would not have chosen to dine at Rocco's. Incidentally, my daughter and her friends agree with my assessment since they accompanied me during dinner. Quality pizza, but super long wait time during lunch time did not leave a great first impression on me. The good: the servers and staffs were extremely friendly and polite. We were seated at a table first, when 2 minutes later the waiter realized the table was reserved already. He apologized and moved us to a different table, which was: 1. not a big deal at all 2. 10 feet away 3. a better table anyway Nevertheless, he was super apologetic and gave us a $10 discount on our bill. The low: I came here with my co-workers for lunch, and we definitely did not expect the long wait time for food. After placing our order, we waited for at least 45 minutes before the food was ready. We didn't order anything special/customized either...my order was actually "pizza by the slice", which they literally just needed to grab from the counter and heat up. We did not leave with an excellent mood as we were hoping to grab a quick lunch and head back to work. The personal take: now onto the pizza itself. Personally, I'm a big NY style thin-slice pizza fan. I was excited when I saw that they have pizza by the slice option, which was not a common in the west coast. I was, however, disappointed after the long wait, as well as the food itself. It was definitely tasty, with a lot of ingredients, but unfortunately I set my expectation too high and was craving for the traditional NYC thin-slice style, and the pizza at Rocco's definitely wasn't that. I can't recommend this place enough! We recently ordered a half-and-half large pizza, which was more than enough for five people. The pineapple pizza we tried was an absolute delight--it's easily the best pineapple pizza I've ever had. The generous cheese topping really elevated the flavors. We also opted for the Banh Mi pizza, which ended up growing on me. Although I'm not a huge fan of balsamic sauce, I requested a lighter drizzle, and it was just right. The staff is friendly and service is quick. One of the highlights was creating our own pizza with curry sauce--it was a flavor explosion that I thoroughly enjoyed. Upscale New York style pizza always seems a bit off to me, since that's not what NY style pizza is "supposed" to be. But maybe I'm just being silly. At any rate, this place seems pretty unremarkable to me. Atmosphere is quiet but loud. I came with a group of five and we were seated at a table which I found to be a bit too small-- it didn't seem like they had a single table big enough to comfortable seat five‽ The menu mainly consists of NY style pizza. They sell it by the slice or by the half/whole pizza. Slice selection is somewhat limited, and the pizzas are huge, as is typical for NY style. The actual taste is decent, but nothing remarkable. I've definitely had better for $1 a slice in NYC, which is saying a lot given the prices here. The one redeeming factor is the beer list, which is excellent. Unfortunately I don't really want a fancy Belgian beer with my greasy pizza, so this feels kinda wasted. read more

This pizza place is one of my favorite spots in town, just a 5-minute walk from Pike Place Market. Whenever I'm craving a delicious slice, this place is my go-to. So, five years ago, I landed in Belltown straight from NYC, craving that classic thin-crust pizza. Ended up at ROCCO'S, thinking I'd get a slice of home. Nope, this is Seattle-style pizza. My friend and I were in Seattle for the weekend and just completed a little food tour at Pike Place market. After walking around Park Place and buying goods from other consumers wanted to go back home. But we were still hungry. We asked around about who had great pizza and everyone said Rocco's. When entering Rocco's I saw the pizza that everyone was talking about. There were so many different choices to choose from. I ended up getting a veggie pizza and a classic pepperoni. Our waiter was very nice and funny and the vibes in the music were A1. I think the best part that surprised me was at the drink menu was actually located inside of the cat in the hat book. JACKPOT! WE WON THE LOTTERY!!! We were exhausted we had walked all over Seattle and we were starving. My wife asked me let's stop and eat something. I really wanted pizza, so we turn the corner and boom find this place. We both look at each-other and shrug our shoulders and say ok this is the place. No more walking. We are eating here. WOO HOO! Rocco's finally opened today in my neighborhood! I've walked by for months wondering what the heck it was going to be like, and lucky for me it is pretty awesome. The inside looks amazing! There is a tin ceiling which I love and rarely see out here (I'm an East coast transplant), cool booths, and some private tables and window seating. Rocco's Pizza is always a must-stop for me whenever I'm in Seattle. The pizza is just so good. The crust is legit -- crisp on the outside with that perfect chewy bite on the inside. You can tell the dough is the real deal. Yeah, it's a little on the pricier side, but honestly? I never mind spending a few extra bucks for pizza that delivers like this. Worth every penny. The worst at welcoming customers. The pizza boy had to come out from behind his station to greet us and seat us! We are a party of 2 are you kidding me?! This is the 3rd time we have gone undercover and this has happened. It's a Sunday @5:00pm. Everyone has their hand up their a**! Didn't even look at us once!!! It was my first visit to 2nd Ave in downtown Seattle and I was looking for a kewl place to have a beer. I walked up to the entrance at Rocco's and was met by the bouncer. I asked if they had a bar and he said there was no space. I said okay and turned away, only I realized he had fondled the lapel of my hoodie when I peeked inside. If things had gone differently, I would have BROKE HIS WRIST for taking liberties. First thing to mention about this place is that it's a legitimate pizza place and legitimate bar- not a pizza place that serves beer or a bar that serves pizza from the back. Pizza was delicious- veggie, pepperoni and meat slice. I would recommend all of them. All of the salads look great but the arugula one was bomb. Tequila cocktails were a touch bland and not spicy like their menu description. The bar is fully stocked with tons of options though, great selection. Waiter was nice. We went to see if there was room at Serious Pie but they had a line out of the door and a 20-30 minute wait. Looking inside there didn't appear to be air conditioning and the pizzas looked tiny. We decided to bail and find somewhere else. Looking on Yelp there was another place a few blocks away so off we went to have a look. What a great quirky pizza place! TERRIBLE SERVICE! Decent pizza but AWFUL service! They literally kicked us out before they closed and when I asked about why they even served us "for here" 10 minutes before they closed the guy said 'if you don't like our policies then don't come back'. I run a restaurant in Oregon and I would fire someone for that kind of service.
