Seattle's Thai scene is hotter than sticky rice freshly unwrapped at the table and somewhat less likely to burn one's fingers. Thai cuisines vary depending on the region, but in general Thai food is known for balancing sweet, salty, spicy, and sour flavors. It also features a generous helping of fresh herbs and coconut milk. This results in bold, complex, and often herbaceous dishes. Located on Second Avenue in Belltown, Bangrak Market is named after the most famous market in Bangkok, where we had our first dinner in Seattle. The reservation was easily made via their website. Upon arrival, it was pretty busy and felt like a market when one stepped inside thanks to the colorful streamers and decor. The decorations were so unique, especially the baskets used throughout the space, and the whole vibe instantly transports one to Thailand without actually being there. It has such an energetic and party-like vibe. The music felt like one's in a bar, and the atmosphere was super fun. My partner, his family, our friends, and I managed to get a big table for a party of 14. With so many menu options, one can order with confidence. For starters, some ordered the Fresh Garden Rolls (Tofu), Chicken Satay, and Kao Mun Gai. As the main meal, we ordered Tom Yum Nam Sai (Chicken), Pad Thai, Pad See Eww, Kao Pad, Kao Pad Supparos, and Gang Kari. The food was amazing, full of flavor, and authentic. Everything was beautifully presented and made with fresh ingredients. Portions were decent and the price reasonable. The service was excellent and super friendly. From the wait outside to our meal, this establishment was buzzing, packed with patrons having a great time, food flying out of the kitchen, and that fun, chaotic energy that tells one you're in the right place.

This is a fun restaurant to go with a group of people. Although they have a two hour limit and hold you to it. Came with a group of about 15 people initially we ordered to share as a group but all the food was so good. Everyone just ended up eating the entrées that they ordered. The crying tiger was not too spicy ordered with a side of rice, shrimp, vegetable, lettuce wraps also fresh with great peanut sauce. The decor and ambience is fun and lively, we celebrated a birthday there they brought out a sparkler on a dessert and came out and sang. Located in downtown, it was easily walkable to and from our location.

Trendy cool place with Average tasting food for Me. Don't get the hype. We had to wait in line for about an hour on Friday evening when we reached there around 6.45pm. Food came out really quick after ordering so the service was quick. But the flavors did not hit as much. Parking here can be tricky since it's in belltown. You will have to find paid parking spots. As much as I liked the vibe of this place , food not so much .

WuzupWuzup!! If you're looking for that night life vibe with great atmosphere, you stopped at the right place. I got to experience this place on 06/04/26 as I was visiting for the first time. This place did not disappoint!! From the blasting music (good playlists), friendly service making you feel like home, and excellent food. I've tried several items such as Satay, Peek Gai Tod, Kao Moo Dang Moo Krob and Pad Thai. All of them were super delish, fresh ingredients and hot to the touch. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for that street food vibe with high energy, I for sure had fun here.

Wow just wow! Who knew there's a slice of Bangkok street food in downtown Seattle Belltown. Such a cool vibe and unique eating experience that transports you to the alleys of some Southeast Asia neighborhood. High energy music makes the place very lively and fun. Friendly and prompt service. Food here is tasty too. We tried: - PLA TOD Deep fried fish with mango salad - MOO YANG Pork Jowl - Crying tiger - GOONG AOB WOONSEN Prawn with glass noodle Look forward to coming back here and try other dish.

Friends and I came in for dinner on Saturday while visiting Seattle. We put our name for table for 5 people. It was a long wait to get seated. Ordered Pad Thai, Papaya salad, Chicken larb, Spring rolls, beef skewers, chicken rice, and a few drinks. Overall, food was good with the exception of papaya salad. We ask for mild but it came out extremely spicy. I could not eat.

Randomly decided on Bangrak Market when choosing a spot for dinner, it was about a half an hour wait and very busy. Ordered the pad thai and khao soi. They also have chili sauce which was very spicy, a little goes a long way. -pad thai: very tasty and flavorful, I enjoyed adding some chili sauce which gave it a nice kick. -knao soi: loved the soup and egg noodles Both were delicious and well balanced, I'd love to come back

Phenomenal restaurant! We ended up visiting twice during our week and a half stay. The restaurant ambience is very trendy and almost like a nightclub. It was a little hot. The first time we sat inside, so we sat outside the second time. The curry is consistently very good. Service is very fast. The bathrooms were always pretty clean and neutral gendered.

A new favorite in Seattle! Vibrant colors, delicious food, speedy service, and fun energy! This was my second time dining here and both times I've been here, I've been blown away with how delicious their food is! We started with a Lilikoi Margarita and Ginger Martini as well as Fresh Garden Rolls, which were quite generous in size (4 large pieces) and very good. Drinks were very good! We enjoyed Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Pad Thai is a staple and was good, but if you want something that has a ton of flavor and a nice mix of noodles and veggies, check out their drunken noodle dish Pad Kee Mao. Appreciate you can customize heat level as well. Overall the vibe in this place is awesome! We had hoped to sit outside, but didn't make reservations, so were sat in the back dining area. It was very hot back there - not sure that is an everyday type thing, but next time I go I would wait for a different part of the restaurant than sit there. Service was super quick and attentive!

We needed a late dinner and found this place to be one of the few options. Thankfully, the food was delicious! The music was a bit too loud but it's a great spot for drinking and dining late night.

Delicious Thai food and a local gem! The food was amazing and fresh. The service was also fast and efficient! Our waiter was very informative and also helped with menu items. The restaurant was perfect for lunch or a night out with friends and family.

Really great food here and definitely has a more authentic flavor than most Thai spots around that just serve the generic americanized Thai options. We ordered the whole fried snapper, moo ping, gai yang and mango sticky rice for dessert. All were fantastic and we were surprised that the gai yang was actually a whole chicken! We ordered it to go for our kids so didn't realize it till we got home. They really enjoyed the chicken too and the flavor from roasting over charcoal really made this dish!

Such an incredible Thai restaurant, with their top notch food, accompanied by amazing music and vibes. We came to the restaurant around evening time and got a table inside right away. The tables in the shack area were already full. We could see the chefs cooking and preparing the dishes at full speed in the kitchen. There was a bar with some seats. The interior had hanging buckets, baskets, umbrellas, mangoes. The menu had so many unique and interesting dishes. We ordered the chicken satay, pad kee mao and kao gang paa curry. All dishes were so delicious. The gang paa curry came in a bucket. It was so so good that I felt obligated to finish the whole thing, since I couldn't take left over with me. At the end we ordered the mango sticky rice that was also fantastic. It had milky rice and two huge slices of sweet mango. The service was good overall. All staff members were friendly. The dishes came out within minutes. It was very impressive. By the time we finished dining, the restaurant was almost full. It was one of the most impressive spots in Seattle during my trip.

Can the mussamun curry be vegan, including the curry paste? I am confused because it was suggested for the first time as a vegan item the other night but I don't remember the waiter ever suggesting that before. Thank you.

Hi, our new brand of Massamun curry paste does not contain shrimp paste. So if you order it with just veggies or tofu, it will be vegan.…

How long wait time tonight at 6:30pm for party of 7? Or walk in?

There will be some wait. Please consider walk in.

What time/days are Happy Hour offered?

    4-6 pm everyday

How long is the wait usually on Fridays dinner time (6 PM) for 4 people?

About 30 mins Or less - we usually seat you first if your full party is waiting outside

Do you only accept reservations for parties of 7 or more? I'm visiting from out of town in 2 weeks and have heard great things about this place. I'd like to make reservations for me and my husband but not sure if you accept them for small parties.

Yes, seven or more only. Smaller parties are welcome to walk in.…

Is there outdoor seating, and is the outdoor seating dog-friendly?

    Yes & yes!

I want to make a reservation on April 1 at 6:45pm for 2 people and one toddler. On your website, there is no option to reserve, but at least 7 people. I want to reserve as I have kid with me. Is there a way I can reserve online?

I've gone on Saturday evenings and you have to log your name on a tablet outside. You can maybe try calling, but have not tried. The wait can be a walk in to one hour in my experience. The positive thing is you can do other things nearby and…

    Do they take reservations?

Yes! You can do so on their website or by calling in.

Hi can we make reservations for today?

What time and how many people?

    Is this restaurant wheelchair accessible?

Yes, but please let’s us know before you come in so we can save some table for you.

Are there gluten free options available?

Yes, several items are GF or GFO. I had the kao pad kaprao (Thai holy basil) GF, which was excellent.

Do they have happy hour deals? What days/times? Thank you!

Yes, 4-6pm every day! You can find a copy of their menu here: https://www.bangrakmarket.com/digital-menu

    Is this place children friendly?

    Yes.

How do the spiciness levels compare to the average american thai restaurant?

It's pretty the same but more distinct between different spicy levels. It's not very spicy if you go with mild. But if you choose medium or hot, or even extreme hot, it can be very spicy.

    How is parking here?

Street parking only. It's downtown Seattle so it really depends on the time and day.

Which soup menu has no pork in it (blood/oil/meat/etc)? Other than the vegan options of course.

Most of our soups are made to order. You can easily request not to put pork in any of them. Other than the boat Noodle- which contains pork blood and spices as the base of the soup.…

Does boat noodle soup have blood in it?

There is no chunk of blood, but yes the both has a touch of crimson pig's blood, which makes the both appear dark.

The crust was on the thicker side and packed with rich garlic flavor. The center of the flat bread was more flavorful than the edges. Crispy Karaage Chicken Wings - The karaage seasoning comes as a powder rub. It wasn't my favorite because it didn't taste much like traditional karaage. It's also a bit messy to eat, so be careful not to get the powder on your clothes. Interestingly, the flavor reminded me of Maruchan shrimp flavored instant noodles. On the plus side, the portion size was generous and offered good value for an appetizer. Gambas al Ajillo - This dish features spicy garlic shrimp and chicken chorizo. The shrimp was fresh and well cooked, though it wasn't particularly spicy. The chorizo brought more heat and had excellent flavor. I highly recommend ordering this alongside the flat bread. We used the gambas garlic oil/ sauce from this dish as a dipping sauce for the bread, which added a delicious extra kick. Espresso Martini - They make their espresso martini using drip coffee, and surprisingly, it works really well. This was my first time having one made this way, and I enjoyed it. I'd say to be sure and order them. The ravioli and mushrooms would have been nice, but was so overly drenched in brown butter it was not pleasant. Who knew there could be too much brown butter? This dish would benefit by a bit of acid - maybe a balsamic drizzle? The best part of the tandoori style chicken by far were the interesting garnishes along with the tzatziki. The chicken was just a vehicle for the rest.

The food is wildly overpriced for what it is, even accounting for being in a tourist trap part of town: $15 for a single slider, $30 for a small burger or sandwich, and they aggressively peddle/upsell drinks. They were also again out of a bunch of menu items. Check your tab very carefully when you close out because it's communal seating and orders can and do frequently get mixed up. Just glancing at the menu during a stroll in Cap Hill interested me and I wanted to give this place a try. Paid a visit on a Friday around 6PM and was able to get a table fairly quickly. There are parking garages in the building that Nue is located at, though I am not sure about parking validation. There should be plenty of street parking as the restaurant is located more on the outskirts of Cap Hill. I got to the restaurant via a 10 minute walk from the nearest light rail station. Service was a bit slow when went, I think after we were seated, there unfortunately were two large groups that can in afterwards. We had to flag down the service workers to place our order and get the check. As for the food, it came out after 10 minutes one at a time. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely, lots of memorabilia from various countries and even the check came out in a passport-esque binder. We got a couple of things, which I'll review down below: Carribean Pineapple Cornbread ($8): Tasty cornbread that has nice coconut flakes spread through the batter and around the cornbreads. The cornbread was moist and there is a pineapple undertone in the flavor profile. One downside was that the quantity is quite small, I think for the price, you get like 2 3x3 squares of cornbread, which I think is unfortunately not enough as an appetizer even. Chengdu Wings ($24): These wings do have a tasty flavor profile and have a fragrant aroma when you bite into them. The batter is crispy and they are pleasing to eat! Once again, I unfortunately think the suffers in terms of quantity - you maybe get like 3 wings for $24, which I personally think is a very steep price for fried chicken wings, regardless of the flavor profile. I understand that not everyone can handle very spicy flavor, and personally think that despite the name being Chengdu Wings, it serves as a good entry to Sichuanese cuisine for people given the motivation of the restaurant. Malaysian Dhal ($22): A pleasant dish that has a fragrant coconut, lime, and lemongrass flavor that represents the flavors of Malaysia well. The stew has a pleasant consistency and each bite coats your tongue with the fragrant flavors. The roti is flaky on the outside and soft on the inside - perfect for enjoying this dish. African Bunny Chow ($24): Probably the most filling dish that we have ordered at Nue - I think if you are hungry, maybe go for this one. There is a decent amount of meat in this dish, and the flavors are tasty - it feels like a slightly more toned down Dhal in terms of fragrance, but has a pleasant thicker consistency. In the end, I think Nue is better served as a Tapas-esque restaurant than a place you would visit if you are hungry. Prices vs. quantity does suffer quite a bit at Nue unfortunately, which is why I think it serves as a place to sample cuisines in a night out and then maybe visit elsewhere to complete your dinner. The food is flavorful and pleasing to the general audience, which is a good thing for people who generally aren't very adventurous in their culinary horizons. I'm not sure I would revisit, but I would definitely recommend this to people that lean more on the safer side of dining out.

Meg and her team created one of the finest dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. From her greeting to Lorenzo's attentive and knowledgable service, through the kitchen's meticulous detail to our party's dietary restrictions, this was a 5+ star rating. The ambience is charming, the food was incredibly delicious and beautifully prepared and plated. Some may consider the Wolf pricey, but if you have no qualms paying for high quality food and service, Wolf is absolutely worth the money. Personally, we have no issue paying for exceptional dining experiences. We DO however balk at paying premium prices for mediocre food. This is most definitley not in the latter category. If life finds us back in the Seattle area in the future, one of the first things we will do is book a table at The Wolf. Well done all. Thank you.

Coming from New York City, when I hear family style I'm picturing big shareable plates for the table to be going back for seconds (maybe even THIRDS). The dishes here were quite small and very pricey, which made it hard for them to function as true family-style portions. That said, the food itself was excellent, very unique and the service was genuinely wonderful. The staff were attentive, warm, and made the whole evening feel really welcoming. I can't say enough about the staff, just SO lovely. So if you go in expecting beautifully prepared small plates rather than true family-style dining, you'll probably have a great time. Just adjust expectations on the portion sizes!
