I really enjoyed the food and drinks here. This restaurant gave vibes of a trendy restaurant in New York or LA. I can't wait to return.

Isarn has become our new go-to Thai place in the area, especially when we are wanting a little more than your average take-out Thai. Isarn's flavors and menu are unique and I have yet to have an item that I did not enjoy. We have done both take out and dine in here. I would recommend dine in if you have the chance as Isarn also has a great cocktail menu and having the food fresh out of the kitchen is great, but most of the items are also take out friendly. They don't accept reservations for parties less than 6, and this place can get busy especially on weekends, so eat early if you can to beat the crowd. The staff is always friendly and helpful and it is a polished, modern restaurant that feels both laid back, but like a nice place for a decent date night. If I have I recommend one item, the tropical curry is phenomenal! The pineapple and lychee in the curry really come through and it just adds this additional layer to the curry that is unique to any other curry I have tried before. But, I have not had anything on the menu I have not enjoyed so highly recommend stopping by here sometime!

We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The servers were friendly, and the restaurant was bustling with lots of people dining in, which created a lively atmosphere. I ordered the Chiang Mai noodles and a fresh coconut. The noodles were very good--the broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect chewy texture. The portion of chicken was huge; I couldn't even finish it and honestly felt like it was enough for two meals. The coconut was fresh and tasty, and I appreciated that they provided a spoon for the meat afterward. However, it wasn't really a young coconut--the meat was quite hard, so there wasn't much I could scoop out. I managed to eat the cap part, but the rest felt a bit wasteful. Overall, though, the food was good and I enjoyed the experience.

Very delicious spot! Tried it for the first time and enjoyed everything! Family friendly and very comfortable. Service was great. They also have a bar inside, which was a plus!

Had an excellent experience at Isarn. We sat at the bar and they had an NBA TV segment on the tv showing Gary Payton highlights - a very Seattle experience. We started with happy hour drinks and wings. We liked the Mini Wings much more than the Lemongrass wings. I got the Crab Stir Fried with Yellow Curry and Jasmine Rice and loved it. Delicious and good portion. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly. We enjoyed our time and definitely want to return.

We had a wonderful visit to Kerry Park and I was in the mood for some thai food. My friend recommended this place so I thought I'd give it a try. Definitely did not regret! The Northern sweet curry is very flavorful and flagrant. One bite of the curry soaked in with the rice and a piece of meat and it put an instant smile to my face. It says sweet in the title but it's not that sweet. There's also a chili pepper sign next to it, but it's not that spicy either. I would probably ask them to make it spicier next time! Pad see ew had really soft and tender noodles with excellent flavor and the tofu texture is perfectly cooked. This is the most delicious pad see ew I've had in recent memory. The interior is really modern and beautiful design with plenty of comfy chairs. I love the soft and relaxing music that completes the vibe! The service is absolutely amazing here. They were all smiles and so nice and very attentive as well. I would definitely come back and try other dishes.

Some of the best Thai food I've had! There was almost no wait as well, and I appreciated the pillow included in my booth seating. Such a comfortable restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Phad See Ew, my go-to order at Thai restaurants - and it did not disappoint. With a spice level 2, it was perfectly balanced and I loved every bite. My boyfriend ordered the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles. I had never tried this before, and it was honestly so delicious. Mix everything together, and there's a perfect crunch. That, paired with the noodles in a delicious sauce with very tender chicken, is delectable. Overall, I loved this Thai restaurant, and will definitely go again soon.

This restaurant has amazing cocktail! They have a separate bar where you can eat watch the Thai food channel TV and enjoy your Thai food. This restaurant definitely serve more of a fusion style of Thai Food. If you are looking for authentic one, try looking for another one.

I was excited to try Isarn after finding out that it's owned by the same people as Kin Len. The menu is interesting, there are dishes I haven't heard of before so I feel like they offer authentic cuisine. We got the lamb massamun and the pork belly stew. I did think the pork belly stew wasn't anything special, especially since the hard boiled eggs were kind of dry and didn't add much to the dish. I liked the lamb massamun, especially because of the roti that it came with! The lamb was fine (overcooked a bit), but the curry itself had a delicious flavor and I really enjoyed the potatoes in the stew. I'd definitely get that again.

Been here a handful of times for dinner and they knock it out of the park every single time. During dinner rush there can be a wait for a table but the bar area has ample seating and full food service. Every time I've come I have never needed to wait. Service is 10/10, all the servers are cordial and have great recs. Food is flavorful and they have a colorful drink menu ranging from floral and light to more spirit-heavy faire. Environment is lively and great for small groups or dates. If there's no street parking, you can park in the Safeway or TJ garages for free up to 2 hrs.

Cute space and delicious food! I really loved the wings and the pork skewers and would highly recommend both of those. The northern style curry was good but the beef had dried out considerably. The crab papaya salad was also more Lao style as it was funkier than normal papaya salad! I'd probably go for the Thai style to try that if I was in the area again.

My first time here was when this location first opened a few years back, and the dishes left me a great impression. During my second visit, and I jusgot pad see ew to-go from the lunch menu. $14.95 + tax for a large portion of noodle, definitely enough for 2 meals for me. The noodle is good, heavy on the fish sauce so a bit salty. The waiter who helped me order was so nice. There are other dishes on the lunch menu I want to try, so I'll definitely come back for a dine-in service.

I love Isarn! They have maybe locations throughout the greater Seattle area. This Queen Anne location in particular is in such a cute part of town. Decor inside the restaurant was also super vibey. Parking was not too hard to find. There's a lot of street parking or you can park in the neighborhoods close by. We came in at 5 o'clock on a Sunday with a party of four and got seated right away, but the restaurant quickly filled up afterward. They have an amazing happy hour menu! We got the Isarn mini wings, red curry and pad kee Mao with beef. All of the dishes were full of flavor and super tasty. I really like the rice in particular this day. Food came out super quick + service was very friendly and helpful. Only docking one star off because the meal overall was pretty heavy on salt. Overall would come again and is a great place for Thai in the Queen Anne area.

The arancini was a special of the evening and came out perfectly hot and crispy. The calamari was also fried very well. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

We ordered munchies and drinks while we waited for our table at Delancey. The bartender / server knew we would be headed to Delancey in 40 minutes or so, and handled things well accordingly. We got a plate of olives (tasty, great finger food) and drinks. The Yonder cider was good, not too sweet. The Martini was tasty. I had two quibbles: The first was with the pricing: the martini was charged as two separate items: 1) gin (I suppose the charge varies by the kind of gin or vodka in your martini) 2) martini (which is apparently the non-vodka or or non-gin part of your drink) While I'm sure this makes it easier to track for the bartender and inventory, as well as for charging, as a customer, it's a little odd to have a mixed drink be a two-part charge. The second was the included 20% automatic gratuity. I don't object to the concept of a standard service charge, I just wish it had been more prominently displayed so that I wouldn't have added a 20% tip on top of that (and my tip was on the amount that included tax, service charge and drinks / food). So, buyer beware ... the service is good, the ambiance is nice, the food and drinks are good -- but the payment / billing is non-standard, and can cause unexpected surprises.

I am showing my age by saying the restaurant is VERY LOUD, and our table was in a very dark spot in the restaurant. Oddly, they didn't have enough table lamps for all the dark tables. Our server said they "ran out". How does that happen? I stalked a departing table to take their rechargeable lamp. Anyway, my expectations were likely too high going in, and I was annoyed before even ordering, turning on our cellphone light to read the menu. The food is pretty good, though not mind-blowing good like the reviews suggest, and we had one bad dish. They offer varied Khmer dishes beyond noodle varieties, which is a plus. We chose the chicken since we already had mushrooms. Kroeung is the Khmer seasoning. Our server said this dish and papaya salad are amongst the most popular. Since we have a veggie dish, we chose this over the papaya salad (which looks great, too). The chicken is lightly fried, not crispy outside, super tender, and paired well with the kroeung aioli. trei chmouy tuk tei omperi, $40 - 1 Star The menu says serves 2 but not really. The menu doesn't say so; the server didn't mention it. Luckily, by this time of the meal, we have acquired the little table lamp, which enabled me to see the long fish bones that had not been removed. FIVE of them. The noodles are a pathetic overcooked limp pile. The best part is the turmeric sauce. Do not order this dish. Epilogue: I happened to walk by Sophon this past weekend. I was surprised to see a sign saying they are temporarily closed to resolve internal issues. (See photo) That is never a good reflection of management. There is now a GoFundMe for the unpaid staff who had to quit their jobs.

We're a bistro that takes pride in being a neighborhood place - the kind you can escape to at day's end for a delicious meal shared among friends." Ambiance: "Located in the former Le Gourmand space in beautiful Ballard, Brimmer & Heeltap offers an intimate, cozy atmosphere complete with an open kitchen, full bar, and multiple sections to drink and dine in. Our garden patio is one of the best-kept secrets in the city, offering a dreamy place to dine outdoors during Seattle's spring and summer months. We also have a tucked-away back studio that offers the perfect setting for special, private gatherings year-round. Just how many pennies does it take to cover a floor? Just ask Brimmer & Heeltap's proprietress Jen who collected tens of thousands of them from family, friends, and the community to help execute the vision of a cool gathering placed dubbed, naturally, the "Penny Room." This dining room, beloved for both its wall of menus and its shining penny floor, is a favorite place to break bread with loved ones, and plays into the restaurant's blend of nostalgic and contemporary design. The restaurant was designed in collaboration with Sean Sifagaloa of KRFTWRK and local builder Mike Marian, owner of Marian Built. Light, texture, metal, wood, and floral elements are all at play here. This historic building possesses a playful, familiar charm that we wanted to preserve in its latest incarnation." What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
