    Kra-prao with a fried egg
    Megan G.

Decided to stop by this place in search of quality Thai food and a nice ambiance and it did not disappoint! My friend and I walked in at 9:20 (~40 mins before closing) and got a seat at the bar. They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, we got pretty lucky to get a walk in spot but the place was totally filled. A nice place for an upscale meal with a friend or a date!

Upon entrance there is complimentary fruit flavored water which is plus. Decor takes you into a tiki bar setting which is perfect for date nights or hangouts with friends. Happy hour is from 3-6 pm and includes a variety of dishes including beef tongue and chicken wings. I have been to a lot of places but this seems to be one of my top Thai places. The crab fried rice is rich and huge in portion. Similar to the red curry battered chicken is creamy and fragrant.

We came here during happy hour for a late dinner - wow everything was so flavorful! We got the beef tongue skewers, red curry with roti, boat noodles, fried squid, and pork laarb. We also got lychee martini and another cocktail on the menu. Everything was sooo good and a big stand out for me was the red curry and fried squid. Seems like a fun spot! It was still so busy with people as we were leaving. Great service, food came out quickly and would definitely stop by again.

We came back again!! I've been thinking about the battered chicken red curry since the last time I came and have been antsy to get back here for the past month! The wait was quick for lunch time on Sunday and our food came out relatively fast! We already knew we loved the battered chicken red curry but the crispy prawns were new to us and delicious. Definitely a must order for us! They were so juicy and had great flavor. I'm always impressed with the decor and the staff. Constantly recommending this place to friends!

The battered chicken red curry is one of my top 10 most favorite dishes, ever. Everything about the chicken and the curry is just perfect; the chicken is perfectly fried with a light batter and the curry is super flavorful without being too heavy. And the portions are HUGE. As of this review, I've went twice when I was starving - I barely finished once and had leftovers the other time. The taste and value are insane, my only main concern with the meal is that it's not balanced at all since there's zero vegetables at all but it gets a pass from me. Service is pretty average and it can be really hard to get in. I think both times I got in we went at pretty late hours, that's probably the move if you want to dine in. The interior of the restaurant is pretty nice and is a good spot for a casual dinner with a group of friends. 5/5

Friday at 6- wait was over an hour for a party of 3 it started as 15-30 minute and grew from there so be warned. The place has a very cool atmosphere and great food date nights or nights out. the staff were nice but the waiting area is very cramped so maybe having a better system for waitlists would be nice & being more aware of the lengthy wait times (yelp is inaccurate). But honestly I was getting super hangry and the food came out pretty quick after we got a seat and ordered. Oh my gosh everything was SO FLAVORFUL and delicious. The chicken was so lightly battered and had the perfect crunch! Super juicy. I really liked the citrus in my tom yum. Fire food but it is reallyyyy salty so be warned. Nonetheless everything was cleared bc the the 1+ hr wait starved us ngl. Overall highly recommend though! Great time and a great dinner I will reminisce on

Can't believe it took me this long to finally try Kin Len! The food was absolutely incredible and totally lived up to the hype. I ordered the shrimp pad thai, the shrimp cakes, and the squid roe appetizer--every single dish was SO GOOD. The shrimp cakes were a highlight, and the squid roe was such a unique, delicious find. The ambiance is nice and lively, making it a great spot for a night out. Service was just okay, but to be fair, they were in the middle of a peak rush, and the quality of the food more than made up for the wait. Definitely won't wait this long to come back!

We recently dined at this cozy restaurant and it didn't disappoint. At first glance when we entered I wasn't impressed. After we were greeted and escorted to a different area of the restaurant I instantly felt the vibe and admired the decor. We were then seated and not long after, our server came over to introduce himself. He was pleasant. I started off with a *Lychee Martini*. We ordered the *Boat Noodles with Beef*, Boat Noodles Everything*, *Pad See Ew with Shrimp*. and 3x the spice. Each entrée was flavorful and came in huge servings. The leftovers the next day were just as tasty. This was a true gem.

Went to Kin Len for happy hour on a Thursday evening. I love their Yelp waitlist system in the front entryway- it gives an estimate of wait time and makes it easy to check where you are in line. That said, only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was lively , and the decor is truly unique and vibrant! Their happy hour menu is truly special- had some delicious boat noodles (savory and deep flavor with a little bit of kick to the broth) for around $11, and grilled calamari for $10. Their draft singha in a chilled glass really rounds out a nice happy hour for under $30 a person. You will leave stuffed.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, have seen such great reviews. We finally made it for dinner this week. This is such a cool place, we had to wait for about 30 mins to get table, we walked around the block while we waited. This place stands up to all the hype around it. It's a lively place on a Friday night, with good music and happy hour after 9pm. We got the Thai fried squid with Roe, Kra pao with Chicken, and Garlic Prawns with sticky rice. We loved the Thai fried squid with Roe, and Garlic Prawns with sticky rice. The Kra Pao was good, we went with 3 stars for spice level and it was spicy. We love spicy food and can handle spice, this was hitting the limit for us. Now we know, next time we'll go with 2. We got Banana Celebration to finish our meal. We loved the coconut ice cream, and fried bananas. It was a great end to our meal.

Stopped by during my short visit to Seattle to catch up with a friend. She recommended we try out Kin Len, her local favorite Thai spot. I am so glad she did. Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.

The food was quite good overall. I would say the entrees were maybe just above average but not as outstanding as the apps and drinks. The service was ok, though maybe a little sporadic. Ambiance is cool because of the fun decor and neons that set the vibe. We would probably come back, and I do love that they have a whole vegan menu section and have clear labels for many common allergens. Would recommend!

The arancini was a special of the evening and came out perfectly hot and crispy. The calamari was also fried very well. We ordered munchies and drinks while we waited for our table at Delancey. The bartender / server knew we would be headed to Delancey in 40 minutes or so, and handled things well accordingly. We got a plate of olives (tasty, great finger food) and drinks. The Yonder cider was good, not too sweet. The Martini was tasty. I had two quibbles: The first was with the pricing: the martini was charged as two separate items: 1) gin (I suppose the charge varies by the kind of gin or vodka in your martini) 2) martini (which is apparently the non-vodka or or non-gin part of your drink) While I'm sure this makes it easier to track for the bartender and inventory, as well as for charging, as a customer, it's a little odd to have a mixed drink be a two-part charge. The second was the included 20% automatic gratuity. I don't object to the concept of a standard service charge, I just wish it had been more prominently displayed so that I wouldn't have added a 20% tip on top of that (and my tip was on the amount that included tax, service charge and drinks / food). So, buyer beware ... the service is good, the ambiance is nice, the food and drinks are good -- but the payment / billing is non-standard, and can cause unexpected surprises.

I am showing my age by saying the restaurant is VERY LOUD, and our table was in a very dark spot in the restaurant. Oddly, they didn't have enough table lamps for all the dark tables. Our server said they "ran out". How does that happen? I stalked a departing table to take their rechargeable lamp. Anyway, my expectations were likely too high going in, and I was annoyed before even ordering, turning on our cellphone light to read the menu. The food is pretty good, though not mind-blowing good like the reviews suggest, and we had one bad dish. They offer varied Khmer dishes beyond noodle varieties, which is a plus. Go if you are looking for variety, skip the fish, bring ear plugs, and hope you have a brighter table than ours. Parking is street only. 3 Stars for the food, minus 1 star for the restaurant environment (unrelated to staff) The Food: k'tiss dip with crudités, $18 - 4 Stars We chose the marrow stone blue oyster mushroom option - p'set. We chose the chicken since we already had mushrooms. Kroeung is the Khmer seasoning. Our server said this dish and papaya salad are amongst the most popular. Since we have a veggie dish, we chose this over the papaya salad (which looks great, too). The chicken is lightly fried, not crispy outside, super tender, and paired well with the kroeung aioli. trei chmouy tuk tei omperi, $40 - 1 Star The menu says serves 2 but not really. The menu doesn't say so; the server didn't mention it. Luckily, by this time of the meal, we have acquired the little table lamp, which enabled me to see the long fish bones that had not been removed. FIVE of them. The noodles are a pathetic overcooked limp pile. The best part is the turmeric sauce. Do not order this dish. Epilogue: I happened to walk by Sophon this past weekend. I was surprised to see a sign saying they are temporarily closed to resolve internal issues. (See photo) That is never a good reflection of management. We shared the asian pear & proscuitto flatbread as well as the cauliflower curry one, both of which were really yummy! I loved the soft crust and crispy edges a lot. Service was super attentive as well. Overall, a great place to hang!
