    Crab Fried Rice
    Otto C.

Upon entrance there is complimentary fruit flavored water which is plus. Decor takes you into a tiki bar setting which is perfect for date nights or hangouts with friends. Happy hour is from 3-6 pm and includes a variety of dishes including beef tongue and chicken wings. I have been to a lot of places but this seems to be one of my top Thai places. The crab fried rice is rich and huge in portion. Similar to the red curry battered chicken is creamy and fragrant.

We came back again!! I've been thinking about the battered chicken red curry since the last time I came and have been antsy to get back here for the past month! The wait was quick for lunch time on Sunday and our food came out relatively fast! We already knew we loved the battered chicken red curry but the crispy prawns were new to us and delicious. Definitely a must order for us! They were so juicy and had great flavor. I'm always impressed with the decor and the staff. Constantly recommending this place to friends!

The battered chicken red curry is one of my top 10 most favorite dishes, ever. Everything about the chicken and the curry is just perfect; the chicken is perfectly fried with a light batter and the curry is super flavorful without being too heavy. And the portions are HUGE. As of this review, I've went twice when I was starving - I barely finished once and had leftovers the other time. The taste and value are insane, my only main concern with the meal is that it's not balanced at all since there's zero vegetables at all but it gets a pass from me. Service is pretty average and it can be really hard to get in. I think both times I got in we went at pretty late hours, that's probably the move if you want to dine in. The interior of the restaurant is pretty nice and is a good spot for a casual dinner with a group of friends. 5/5

Friday at 6- wait was over an hour for a party of 3 it started as 15-30 minute and grew from there so be warned. The place has a very cool atmosphere and great food date nights or nights out. the staff were nice but the waiting area is very cramped so maybe having a better system for waitlists would be nice & being more aware of the lengthy wait times (yelp is inaccurate). But honestly I was getting super hangry and the food came out pretty quick after we got a seat and ordered. Oh my gosh everything was SO FLAVORFUL and delicious. The chicken was so lightly battered and had the perfect crunch! Super juicy. I really liked the citrus in my tom yum. Fire food but it is reallyyyy salty so be warned. Nonetheless everything was cleared bc the the 1+ hr wait starved us ngl. Overall highly recommend though! Great time and a great dinner I will reminisce on

Can't believe it took me this long to finally try Kin Len! The food was absolutely incredible and totally lived up to the hype. I ordered the shrimp pad thai, the shrimp cakes, and the squid roe appetizer--every single dish was SO GOOD. The shrimp cakes were a highlight, and the squid roe was such a unique, delicious find. The ambiance is nice and lively, making it a great spot for a night out. Service was just okay, but to be fair, they were in the middle of a peak rush, and the quality of the food more than made up for the wait. Definitely won't wait this long to come back!

We recently dined at this cozy restaurant and it didn't disappoint. At first glance when we entered I wasn't impressed. After we were greeted and escorted to a different area of the restaurant I instantly felt the vibe and admired the decor. We were then seated and not long after, our server came over to introduce himself. He was pleasant. I started off with a *Lychee Martini*. We ordered the *Boat Noodles with Beef*, Boat Noodles Everything*, *Pad See Ew with Shrimp*. and 3x the spice. Each entrée was flavorful and came in huge servings. The leftovers the next day were just as tasty. This was a true gem.

The food was quite good overall. I would say the entrees were maybe just above average but not as outstanding as the apps and drinks. The service was ok, though maybe a little sporadic. Ambiance is cool because of the fun decor and neons that set the vibe. We would probably come back, and I do love that they have a whole vegan menu section and have clear labels for many common allergens. Would recommend!

Went to Kin Len for happy hour on a Thursday evening. I love their Yelp waitlist system in the front entryway- it gives an estimate of wait time and makes it easy to check where you are in line. That said, only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was lively , and the decor is truly unique and vibrant! Their happy hour menu is truly special- had some delicious boat noodles (savory and deep flavor with a little bit of kick to the broth) for around $11, and grilled calamari for $10. Their draft singha in a chilled glass really rounds out a nice happy hour for under $30 a person. You will leave stuffed.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, have seen such great reviews. We finally made it for dinner this week. This is such a cool place, we had to wait for about 30 mins to get table, we walked around the block while we waited. This place stands up to all the hype around it. It's a lively place on a Friday night, with good music and happy hour after 9pm. We got the Thai fried squid with Roe, Kra pao with Chicken, and Garlic Prawns with sticky rice. We loved the Thai fried squid with Roe, and Garlic Prawns with sticky rice. The Kra Pao was good, we went with 3 stars for spice level and it was spicy. We love spicy food and can handle spice, this was hitting the limit for us. Now we know, next time we'll go with 2. We got Banana Celebration to finish our meal. We loved the coconut ice cream, and fried bananas. It was a great end to our meal.

Looking for a great spot for Thai food in Seattle? Then head over to Kin Len Thai Night Bites in Fremont. Located on the corner of N. 36th & Fremont Ave, Kin Len has a fun vibe and is great for meeting up with friends. Definitely recommend ordering several different dishes so you can share and find your new favorites. Recommendations: (1) "Gai Tod" Kinlen Set: deep fried "Kin-len Wings" with Thai Papaya Salad and sticky rice, (2) Beef Jerky: fried sliced beef coated in a sweet marinade, (3) Crying Tiger Lettuce Wraps: Grilled American Wagyu flank steak, (4) Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and prawns, (5) Pork Phad Khe Mao: Wide rice noodles stir fried with fresh chili, white onions, bell peppers, and basil, (6) Chicken Phad Thai: thin rice noodles stir fried with beansprouts, chives, egg, and tofu.

I've always like Kin Len. They really nail the vibe with a cool little mini entry and then when you go into the main dining room it's like another space entirely. Food is filled with Thai standards and some more inventive dishes which I like. Service is prompt and friendly. Like other reviewers, it's totally fine during the day but amazing at night.

This place has made me firmly believe that seattle has the best food in the country. I would honestly give it a 10/5 if I could. Every single item we got was so flavorful and came in very decently sized portions. We came around 8pm and even then it was a 45-60 min wait with 17 parties before us. That's how popular this place is. Every single item we got was out of the park!! Everything is a 5/5 for me: 1) Khao Soi: LOVED IT. comes with egg noodles, onion, pickled vegetable, chicken, and fried egg noodles in curry soup. This dish was full of different kinds of flavors and textures that just complemented each other super well 2) Battered Chicken Red Curry: the crisp and crunch of the chicken is heavenly. They give A LOT of chicken. The curry is also delicious but I wish they gave more of it. 3) red chicken curry: hands down the best red curry i've ever had. The curry is just so creamy and has such a rich flavor that I've never had before (I can almost taste a hint of parmesan in it or something). 4) Boat noodle: also fire. The vibes inside is similar to that of a bar/club restaurant. Super fun and cool! I would love to come back 1000%

The arancini was a special of the evening and came out perfectly hot and crispy. The calamari was also fried very well. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

We ordered munchies and drinks while we waited for our table at Delancey. The bartender / server knew we would be headed to Delancey in 40 minutes or so, and handled things well accordingly. We got a plate of olives (tasty, great finger food) and drinks. The Yonder cider was good, not too sweet. The Martini was tasty. I had two quibbles: The first was with the pricing: the martini was charged as two separate items: 1) gin (I suppose the charge varies by the kind of gin or vodka in your martini) 2) martini (which is apparently the non-vodka or or non-gin part of your drink) While I'm sure this makes it easier to track for the bartender and inventory, as well as for charging, as a customer, it's a little odd to have a mixed drink be a two-part charge. The second was the included 20% automatic gratuity. I don't object to the concept of a standard service charge, I just wish it had been more prominently displayed so that I wouldn't have added a 20% tip on top of that (and my tip was on the amount that included tax, service charge and drinks / food). So, buyer beware ... the service is good, the ambiance is nice, the food and drinks are good -- but the payment / billing is non-standard, and can cause unexpected surprises.

I am showing my age by saying the restaurant is VERY LOUD, and our table was in a very dark spot in the restaurant. Oddly, they didn't have enough table lamps for all the dark tables. Our server said they "ran out". How does that happen? I stalked a departing table to take their rechargeable lamp. Anyway, my expectations were likely too high going in, and I was annoyed before even ordering, turning on our cellphone light to read the menu. The food is pretty good, though not mind-blowing good like the reviews suggest, and we had one bad dish. They offer varied Khmer dishes beyond noodle varieties, which is a plus. Go if you are looking for variety, skip the fish, bring ear plugs, and hope you have a brighter table than ours. We chose the chicken since we already had mushrooms. Kroeung is the Khmer seasoning. Our server said this dish and papaya salad are amongst the most popular. Since we have a veggie dish, we chose this over the papaya salad (which looks great, too). The chicken is lightly fried, not crispy outside, super tender, and paired well with the kroeung aioli. trei chmouy tuk tei omperi, $40 - 1 Star The menu says serves 2 but not really. The menu doesn't say so; the server didn't mention it. Luckily, by this time of the meal, we have acquired the little table lamp, which enabled me to see the long fish bones that had not been removed. FIVE of them. The noodles are a pathetic overcooked limp pile. The best part is the turmeric sauce. Do not order this dish. Epilogue: I happened to walk by Sophon this past weekend. I was surprised to see a sign saying they are temporarily closed to resolve internal issues. (See photo) That is never a good reflection of management. There is now a GoFundMe for the unpaid staff who had to quit their jobs.

A sense of playfulness is present in everything we do, from the inventive dishes our culinary team prepares, to the friendly, genuine hospitality we provide. We're a bistro that takes pride in being a neighborhood place - the kind you can escape to at day's end for a delicious meal shared among friends." Ambiance: "Located in the former Le Gourmand space in beautiful Ballard, Brimmer & Heeltap offers an intimate, cozy atmosphere complete with an open kitchen, full bar, and multiple sections to drink and dine in. Our garden patio is one of the best-kept secrets in the city, offering a dreamy place to dine outdoors during Seattle's spring and summer months. We also have a tucked-away back studio that offers the perfect setting for special, private gatherings year-round. Just how many pennies does it take to cover a floor? Just ask Brimmer & Heeltap's proprietress Jen who collected tens of thousands of them from family, friends, and the community to help execute the vision of a cool gathering placed dubbed, naturally, the "Penny Room." This dining room, beloved for both its wall of menus and its shining penny floor, is a favorite place to break bread with loved ones, and plays into the restaurant's blend of nostalgic and contemporary design. The restaurant was designed in collaboration with Sean Sifagaloa of KRFTWRK and local builder Mike Marian, owner of Marian Built. Light, texture, metal, wood, and floral elements are all at play here. This historic building possesses a playful, familiar charm that we wanted to preserve in its latest incarnation." What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
