PHAD SEE EIW - 16.50 + chicken This is my go-to dish at Thai restaurants since it's always a reliable option. Kin Len was no different. The noodles were soft and chewy, with a nice balance of savory and sweet flavors. They also don't skimp on the chicken or Chinese broccoli, which made this a pretty satisfying portion. BATTERED CHICKEN RED CURRY - 17.75 Wow! I'm not usually a fan of fried foods, but the batter on the chicken was surprisingly light and flaky. The red curry was incredibly savory and aromatic, with a ton of flavor. Even after sitting for about half an hour, the chicken held up pretty well despite becoming a bit soggy. This was incredibly tasty, and I'd highly recommend, especially since it's one of the dishes they're known for. Between the two dishes, this was more than enough food for two people, and I know my friend can eat! We probably would've been OK ordering just the battered chicken red curry, but I'm definitely not complaining about leftovers. Food is amazing!! I love the tofu bomb so much that it inspired me to look for similar recipes to make at home! It's got the kinda spice where it burns a little but it tastes so good that you just keep eating it! Line is long even on weekday nights, so I'd recommend joining the waitlist on yelp while you're otw to avoid waiting in line too long. Kin Len is a staple restaurant for us! They're serving up great Thai food in the heart of Fremont, but beware of parking and the wait time. I was able to get parking by the troll so we had a quick walk over. However, we went on a Thursday night around 7pm and there was already a waitlist of 20+ parties. We probably waited around an hour and 15 minutes. Since you are in Fremont, you can walk around to kill time and check out the cool shops nearby. The inside of Kin Len is decorated very well with lots of Thai decor and bright neon lights. Our server was super friendly and food came out fairly quickly. We've ordered the papaya salad, battered chicken in red curry, pad see ew, octopus carpaccio, pork belly with Chinese broccoli, and mango sticky rice with ice cream. - Papaya salad is classic - crunchy, sour, sweet, spicy, and so savory with the fish sauce. Decently spicy and a great fresh bite between dishes. - The battered chicken is probably the most popular dish on the table. Crispy, juicy chicken on top of creamy red curry. Just the perfect combination of textures and flavors. - Pad see ew is also classic. The medium was pretty spicy for us! I do wish it had some more of the charred flavorful bits on the noodles. Some of the noodles were in larger pieces and could use more flavor but still a very solid dish. - We were warned the octopus carpaccio was one of their spiciest dishes so we got the chili sauce on the side. Octopus was very tender and was a standout with the sweet, sour, spicy sauce. I actually felt like the pad see ew was spicier. - The pork belly with Chinese broccoli had good flavor, the pork belly had a satisfying crunch, and the broccoli had the nice bitterness that comes with gai lan that rounds out the dish. - The mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream was delish! It's one of my favorite desserts so you can never really go wrong. Two mango halves sliced with chewy sticky rice and sweet and salty coconut cream. We added coconut ice cream and it was yummy! Kin Len Thai Night Bites is located in the Fremont area of Seattle. There isn't a dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, but street parking is readily available around if you can find a spot! From the outside, we noticed the restaurant takes up a good amount of space in the building. Once we arrived, there were several people waiting to be seated. We added our name and number to the list. It was about a 10-to-12-minute wait for our party of 2. Throughout the restaurant, the lighting is dim and suited for night life. Once we were seated, we were given the menus. We ordered the Grilled Calamari, Uncle Odds Flank Red Curry Wild Betel Leave with Sticky Rice, Battered Chicken Red Curry, and Durian Tiramisu. The food came out at a respectable amount of time. The Grilled Calamari was an enticing appetizer off the menu based off how big it was. However, we were a bit disappointed once it arrived at the table. It was much smaller. It was still good regardless. Once our main entrees arrived, we were also a bit surprised by the lack of vegetables there were in the curry. Even though the menu states exactly what was in each of the curry dishes, we were still just shocked and questioning why that was. We both enjoyed the curries anyways. I wouldn't order the Battered Chicken Red Curry again only because the batter of the chicken was getting soaked the longer it sat in the curry and became a bit mushy. The texture was throwing me off. It was very filling as there were lots of chicken compared to the other curry we had which was a much smaller portion of protein. Lastly, the Durian Tiramisu was amazing! Love the food, especially pineapple fried rice and Tom Kha. I would say the highlight is their happy hour/drinks, as the rotating cocktail menu is stunningly creative and always delicious! The only complaint I have is every time I've gone I get nauseous because there is absolutely no air conditioning. Decided to stop by this place in search of quality Thai food and a nice ambiance and it did not disappoint! My friend and I walked in at 9:20 (~40 mins before closing) and got a seat at the bar. They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, we got pretty lucky to get a walk in spot but the place was totally filled. Everything about the chicken and the curry is just perfect; the chicken is perfectly fried with a light batter and the curry is super flavorful without being too heavy. And the portions are HUGE. As of this review, I've went twice when I was starving - I barely finished once and had leftovers the other time. The taste and value are insane, my only main concern with the meal is that it's not balanced at all since there's zero vegetables at all but it gets a pass from me. Made it just in time for happy hour! The bar tender was the kindest human, and we felt very welcome. For drinks we had the Thai-tini (best) and lychee martini. Both were great, but the Thai-tini was spot on. From the HH menu we ordered boat noodles with beef and green papaya salad. They showed up as top reviewed and they did not disappoint. This place is SO good! the dishes had creative twists with so much flavor. The portions were also pretty large, and we ended up not being able to finish despite loving everything. we got the battered chicken red curry, and the way that the batter soaked up the curry made the chicken a flavor bomb. Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. The restaurant is pretty big but I've heard the wait can be pretty long. We came around 1:30pm for lunch to skip the rush and we got seated right away. My favorite Thai restaurant in the Seattle area hands-down we can be kind of long but this place is so delicious. My favorite thing to get is there sticky rice and chicken wings I also love any of their noodle dishes and I really really love their papaya salad they have really good deals. If you come during their happy hour I think it's 9 PM or so but keep in mind. The ways are long to me. It's always worth the way to come back here. Best pad see ew and can't miss out on the crispy chicken red curry! I also recommend the Thai iced lemon tea if you like the Thai iced tea flavor, but don't want the heaviness of the dairy. The portions are big for two people so great for leftovers. Their service was great and very friendly! Delicious Thai spot! They have happy hour (smaller portions) everyday from 3-6pm and 9-10pm which is great! Parking can be difficult and lines can be long so take that into account. Unfortunately upon being seated, our glasses weren't clean - one had lipstick on it and the other had leftover residue. Other than that, service was okay but the food was the star of the show. Kin Len wings: the happy hour portion comes with 2 wings. They were crispy and juicy inside. The wings weren't super flavorful but there was a side of tamarind sauce which made it better. Uncle ood's flank red curry with wild betel leaves and sticky rice: the meat was super tender and the red curry was delicious. It was creamy but full of flavor. Highly recommend. Khao soi: the curry in this dish was delicious, creamy, and full of flavor. I got chicken as the protein and it was plentiful. The chicken was also super tender and packed with flavor. This was the highlight of my meal. Overall, a really delicious and authentic Thai spot although wait and parking can be hard/difficult/long. read more

Kin len has one of the best thai food in seattle. With an ambiance reminding you of the streets of Bangkok this place is a delight for anyone looking for good thai cuisine.
