We had New Years eve dinner at Wild Ginger with friends. We were seated soon after we arrived, a few mins before our reservation. The service was excellent. We started with Thai mushroom satay and Thai Spring Rolls. We loved the Thai mushroom satay, Thai Spring Rolls were good. We got Ginger Martini, and Minus mango margarita, loved the mango margarita, the ginger martini was good. We then got Chicken Pad Thai, Green curry chicken, and Kung Pao chicken. The Green curry chicken was good, the Chicken Pad Thai and Kung Pao chicken were okay, a bit of a disappointment. We used to love the food at this Wild Ginger. We finally got Chocolate Mousse, and enjoyed it.

Everyone in my group was happy with their food. That is why I give them three stars. As for me, I'm complicated with food allergies and I feel they may have not followed directions.

I came here for dinner with some friends, who had previously really enjoyed Wild Ginger. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, including the northern pork, the 7 spice beef, the pad thai, the crispy shrimp, and the bok choy. The latter was kind of flavorless and bland even though the description indicated it would have a ginger flavor. I also got the lychee mojito which was tasty but seemed to have no alcohol! I did find the northern pork a bit too oddly spiced, but the other dishes were pretty good. There was nothing really outstanding in the mix of what we ordered. There was a bit of a snafu when we got there, and it took them about 15 minutes to take our order. In the meantime, we weren't even served water. Our waiter, David, seemed a bit ambivalent to our plight at first, but then at a the end of the meal, he brought us free ice cream. They didn't seem particularly busy, so I'm not really sure what the delay was about. This restaurant does seem well decorated and that it would be a nice place to go for a fancy occasion.

K-pop trio dined at this large restaurant at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Union Street. I started with a glass of Nicolas Feiullatte Champagne ($18) while our leader chose a Ginger Martini ($15). The third member was satisfied with water as she doesn't drink alcohol. We ordered family style: Siam Lettuce Cups ($32), Thai Passion Tofu ($19), Thai Spring Rolls ($12), and Thai Mushroom ($16.50) for starters, and a small order of Fragrant Duck ($26) and Nam's Lamb Chops ($37) as our mains. Each dish was wonderful ... there wasn't a dish that we didn't like. My favorites were lamb chops and tofu / eggplant dish. One ordered a Chocolate Mousse ($8.50) for dessert while I had a cup of coffee ($6). We walked out sated and satisfied and headed to Westlake Center to catch the monorail to Seattle Center. This was a great meal at a very reasonable cost, I would definitely return.

Really enjoyed our experience at Wild Ginger after seeing a show at Benaroya. The service was good and the food was yummy. We each ordered a small glass of wine, which I thought was enough and glad I didn't get a larger pour. For dinner, we had the assam prawns and sayur lodeh. Both were very good, but the sayur lodeh takes the cake! The prawns had a very distinct smell that I didn't like. Overall good experience and easy place to go for dinner before or after a show. Plenty of pescatarian options but could use more vegetarian and vegan options!

I loved this dinner spot! Our server was excellent! The food was incredible. We got spring rolls, the duck and Mongolian noodles. For 2 people, we had half the noodles as take home. I also got the raspberry mule cocktail. It was 10 out of 10. Nice atmosphere. It was pricey but worth it for a nice dinner. Best meal we've had in Seattle thus far. We also ate at the Sheraton wine bar & Alder & Ash (which had good food also) but this was better!

This is a 3.5 stars because I like the taste of the food and the ambiance is nice, upscale but not TOO upscale. The bathrooms were nice. Service is standard, nothing amazing, but definitely satisfactory. We had a work conference in Seattle and came in a small group. The Pad Thai is very tasty, but value-wise, I think it was a little bit pricy for a serving of pad thai ($27 after tax and tip). Even in DC where food is super pricy, I've never had pad thai over $20. I think I would agree with some of the other yelpers that this is just a little bit over-priced. It just depends on what you value, if you value the ambiance, then it's probably not overpriced. I think I place importance on the overall value, with emphasis on food/price point match, which I didn't love about this place. However, I still loved my experience here.

Still thinking about my meal here a month later. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Great place for a date, friends or birthday. I loved that they had vegan and vegetarian options! I will be stopping at the Wild Ginger every time I'm in Seattle!!

Thai Spring Rolls. Not sure what makes these "Thai" but they were very tasty and crispy.

This is one of those restaurants I wish I could give a half star rating. This is truly a 3.5 star restaurant in my opinion. Service is good, food is generally solid and safe, and the venue is nice. I would not personally come here on my own but would not mind at all for business lunch or dinner. I must have tried this restaurant about 10 times now over many years and I have to say that the quality of food remained the same before and after the pandemic. This is very impressive since many restaurants have failed to maintain their food quality. What I mean by the food being safe is that there is literally something for everyone here. Not the most authentic Asian food but that is not my expectation when visiting this venue. The main reason I wouldn't come here on my own is that the dishes are just too expensive. My favorite dishes here are the Duck and Seven Flavored beef. Egg rolls were above average (super crispy!) and the curry was surprisingly packing some heat Dessert (gelato)... you can just skip. I don't know why I even ordered it. Seven Flavored beef here is the most competitive dish imo. Great flavors and the meat they use is high quality. It was pretty busy on a Thursday evening and I was surprised to find out that they close so early! (9pm). Recommended for big groups and business meals. Food is good but not necessarily authentic to the claimed region (and that's okay!).

i met my friend here for a catch up meal and this is the best place to do it. The service was fast and welcoming + informative. big interior and dim light setting was perfect to dine in. I tried the Mongolian noodles tasted so good I ate that up. And of course I had to see what sort of Moscow mule rendition they do there: raspberry mule was AMAZING highly recommend.

I really enjoyed our meal here! While it wasn't the absolute best Chinese I've ever had, it was still really good. A bit pricy

I am sad that this place fell short of our expectations. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and very on theme with a Thai restaurant. Our server came out quickly and was friendly. I was dining with a coworker so we ordered a few plates we planned to split. The portions here are large. Starting off to drink we both ordered a ginger ale. There aren't free refills which is always a pet peeve of mine so after one ginger ale we both switched to water. The appetizer we ordered was their lettuce wraps that had halibut in it. The lettuce was great but the main filler was overwhelmed with onion. Not the best experience. I ended up just picking out a piece of fish and lettuce and nothing else. The mains: chicken pad Thai and a prawn dish. The prawn dish neither of us liked. The sauce on top had a strange flavor and it was so thick we couldn't just scrape it off to enjoy the shrimp. The chicken pad Thai was the star. Thankfully this saved the meal for us. We both really enjoyed it and the portion was plenty to satisfy us both since our other orders weren't great. All in all if you come here get the pad Thai. I would look somewhere else and try to find a better overall experience.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
