    OG Grilled Cheese
    Megan S.

I'm a regular climber so it's nice to have a place that closes relatively late at a decent price point! I'm not a huge fan of grilled cheeses so honesty I would probably not get this again. That being said, it was a pretty good grilled cheese that was crispy on the outside and very gooey inside! The pickle was really good too - crunchy, not TOO sour, and cuts through the richness of the cheese very nicely. The workers are also very nice and laid back! Would totally come here again.

Great selection of beers & food options (plus lots of healthy and vegan/vegetarian/gluten free items!) I had a slice of vegan pizza with pineapple, jalapeño, and red onion. Didn't even miss the cheese because the toppings were plentiful, sauce was tasty, and the crust was thin yet crispy!

Food quality: delicious. I have had coffee here several times, and today I finally tried their avocado toast. All great. Price: absolutely overpriced. $1 for alt milk??? $6.5 for a thin slice of avocado toast??? Let alone the RX bar that's priced higher than regular retail price. Downside: no skim milk/soy milk available for alt milk; they stopped serving meat. Service: alright. Took a while to get my avocado toast. **Note: they no longer have happy hour price for guac & chips.

Great environment, great food, and a very friendly staff. The West Wall Bar is back open at the Seattle Bouldering Project. A fresh vegetarian/vegan menu with lots of healthy options. Don't miss the OG grilled cheese sandwich or the veggie flat bread.

This cafe is located downstairs in the climbing gym. You don't need a day pass to get in and they serve food coffee and beer! They have a constantly rotating selection of local beers, ciders, and wine. But it's important to note that there's no drinking and climbing so after you order a beer they mark you with a band. They also have an espresso machine which closes at 5 but they also have cold brew on draft. Their food is funky. It's not my favorite so I don't eat here of what I've had is definitely a creative take on cuisine. Chicken and jackfruit burrito, carrot ginger soup, and artisan pizza by the slice. The room is really big and the furniture just as big. There are plentiful plug ins so you can meet up here for homework, boardgames, or just about anything.

Feels like a secret getaway! Good food. OK Coffee. Nice staff. Open Late. I come here from time to time for a few hours of away-from-the-office work time, and am usually in the company of quite a few other laptop-loungers in addition to customers of the wall climbing gym. The location is, frankly, bizarre. The climbing gym is in a huge but totally unmarked warehouse along a part of Ranier most of us drive past at high speed. The cafe is in the basement of the Seattle Bouldering Project. You have to enter the SBP main lobby, pass the front desk, turn right, go down the stairs and make a left turn to get to the bunker level cafe. Then, voila! There's a spacious, well-lit, modernesque space waiting for you. Based on a few earlier reviews I cavalierly waltzed in for my first few visits... but on my 3rd visit I was stopped and asked to identify myself at the front desk. Do I really look so unlikely to be on my way to some wall climbing class? Sigh. Anyway, I was asked to fill out a liability waiver and sign away my life to accept of the risks of wall climbing before they'd allow me to enter the premises even though I didn't want to climb. A minor hassle I suppose. But one you won't encounter at most cafes. The five cafe tables along the curved wall have outlets, as do 5 or 6 stools at the bar area. Lots to eat and drink. Coffee snobs: the espresso is, in my opinion, either burned or using a roast that is *way* too dark. That said, its flaws are not for lack of careful preparation. After a few experiments, I stick to drip coffee and tea now. The avocado toast, trendy as it may be, is totally delicious. The crispy garlic bits were a huge hit. Plenty to choose from for extended stays.

Hidden. Modern. Unique. Delicious. I had a great first experience here! I got lost trying to find the place, but learned it was downstairs inside the Seattle Bouldering Project - indoor rock climbing place. I wanted to try some good coffee. Ordered the oreo latte and it was on fleek! This bar is more than a cafe. It has several beers on tap, some great foods, great coffee menu, and plenty of space to sit. There are long wooden community tables with brnches and several single, two-seater tables. The bar blends really well with the indoor rock climbing place. Its modern, chique, and competed with other cafe bars in the Seattle area. This isn't your ordinary coffee shop. It has a little bit of everything. Kind of reminds me of the Mr. West coffee shop where theres coffee and happy hour drinks. Will come here again!

It's kind of weird how much I dig these grilled cheese.

She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

Sommelier service was disappointing: chose to share a bottle that was listed on the food menu as a good pairing with one of our dishes. Sommelier brought out the bottle, and when told that it did not appear to be what we had requested from the menu, replied that it was. A closer look revealed that it was not the same wine as it was from a different French winery, though it was the same varietal; we should have been told this in the beginning.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
