Back at Rocco's again and had a really good time! The ambiance was nice and chill; really comfortable and it made for an easy place to hang out and enjoy the night. The employees were all super friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. The pizza was really good and hit the spot. A special shoutout to the bartender, Janessa, she is so sweet and made us feel taken care of! Definitely a solid spot and one I'll always come back to. Thanks again Janessa!! Easy 4 Stars

We stopped in here late at night, as it was one of the few places still open and appeared bustling with happy diners. So glad we did because the pizza was wonderful and it was fun to watch the process with the open kitchen view. Service was great, especially considering the space was packed with diners. Noise level was moderate to high, which was difficult to even give our order to the staff. Decor was dark and cozy with some great artwork to take in. I wanted to try a local beer and enjoyed an Obec brew with my pizza slice. We each ordered a pizza slice from the special food menu to enable us to expedite our order. We preferred doing this rather than wait for an entire pizza or other entree when restaurant was so slammed. Pizza was great crust and toppings. Would return in a heartbeat!

Parking is limited and different to find. The interior is spacious and large making it good for medium sized groups. Slices are humongous. Get 2 if you're really hungry. Otherwise one and an appetizer or something smaller would be enough. Overall, Rocco's is a good place for some delicious pizza. Portions are huge and service is good.

Great happy hour every day 11-4pm. Getting a 50% off cocktail and a delicious pizza by the slice is a great deal. Yesterday I had the burrata caprese and devoured it.

"Fun Guy" pizza, 1/2 size (10 inches instead of 20)

We stopped by here on the way back from Pike Place to our hotel by the Space Needle. Food was great and the service was also very good, but it's still a little hard to justify the price for a pizza place. Then again, I'm biased since my wife and I tend to pick fast casual places over fancy sit down experiences. We sat outside since the weather was nice (even in the early evening). It can be a little awkward since there's some sketchy folks in the neighborhood, but they have a host at the entrance that does a good job policing the area. My wife took a peek inside and said the bar was very cool-looking. So maybe we'll try sitting inside next time. Regardless, our server came by pretty regularly and was helpful / patient with our questions, so all good. We grabbed a local root beer and it was good enough to get a second. They do seem to have a solid beer and mixed drink selection. Wife and I shared a brussel sprout and pork belly appetizer but got the spicy sauce on the side in case it was too spicy. It wasn't too bad so we'd probably get it on next time. We also split a half portion of the mushroom pizza, aptly named "Fun Guy". It was absolutely delicious, and their portion sizes are plenty big enough for my wife and I. Mushrooms were plentiful and the sauce went perfectly with the pie and shrooms. Like I mentioned, I still think the prices are a little high, but it's probably what you'll need to expect for downtown Seattle. Definitely worth checking out if you're picky about the quality of your pizza.

half Three Little Pigs and half chicken con queso

I think the hype here is to order the 20 inch pizza, which you can split in half to taste two different types, and that's exactly what we did. We ordered half chicken con queso and half three little piggies. It came out fairly quickly, and it tasted good. The flavors were slightly off for us and a little too greasy. Overall, our service was good. It filled up quickly after we arrived (6:15pm on a Sunday), so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The ambiance inside is great - it's a bit on the darker side, which could make for a great date night, but it's not very romantic, if that makes sense.

Some of the best pizza I've tried in Seattle! I love that you can order by the slice, two was plenty for dinner. About $8 per slice as of 2025. The interior is stunning and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

Vegetarian Banh Mi Pizza (3dq)

Amazing creative pizzas from global recipes. My mom and I shared a Vegetarian Banh Mi Pizza which was expensive but well worth it. We even had slices to bring to the hotel for leftovers before our ferry to Victoria. The ambiance is very nice and I can imagine it is hard to get a table on weekends as it was quite full on a weeknight. The service was very friendly as well and we saw them make the pizzas as we walked out.

The pizza was great. Their crust was on point, just the way I loke it. The server's were friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for anything more. Aloooooooha and happy eating.

20 inch 8 slice Loaded Potato bacon specialty pizza

My son and I saw the good reviews and thought we would try this place on a Friday evening after a long travel day. We were walk-ins but were seated at the bar immediately. The bartender let me sample a craft beer before I chose a full pour of a craft cider. My son enjoyed the bartender's choice of a whisky sour. We ordered the $60 20-inch eight-slices round extra large loaded potato bacon specialty pizza. It was delicious and incredibly filling. We need to take half back to the Airbnb. I also had their homemade root beer, the best I ever had. There are low and high tops, booths, bar, and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Clean. Seattle Belltown prices. Posted 3% credit card fee. I recommend reservations during peak times and only order a large slice if you don't want to take some home. I don't know why several people trashed this place in reviews. The loaded potato bacon specialty pizza was the best I've had since Basic in San Diego, and I would return to this establishment.

Atmosphere, skylights are a good touch!
Thalya C.

Overall rating is a 4/5 because it is really good and it has nice ambience. Food is good, it is on the pricier side but, what do you expect from a nice place in Downtown Seattle? Sauces are charged each additionally. The crust is thick which was amazing but it was overly greasy, I guess it means it's good? Ambiance is great, definitely a good date night spot with the lighting so dim. Skylights were a great touch! Service was good. Nothing out of the ordinary but it also wasn't terrible. I would say nothing in particular stood out about the service.

I just wanna say if you're in Seattle and you want good food at a good price and amazing quality you gotta hear Rocco Now let's get specific I was recommended here by my hotel and the lady told me make sure you're hungry or order light. She was not joking. First of all when I walked up, they had a security guard. I asked him what would he recommend and he told me and he was not wrong so right off the bat the service was awesome was seated immediately and when I asked the server what he would recommend this is the first time I would agree when he said everything and he was not wrong. I just got two slices and and I couldn't even finish that. While I was enjoying the ambience, I love the fact that they had all these old beer signs throughout the place, but they didn't sell any of those old beers. I was just bougie stuff that I don't care for just sell a classic old beer at least one style that's the only thing I would ask for Rocco's Sell one of the beers that you have on the wall advertising that's it other than that yes, this hungry Hawaiian loved everything about it the service the people but especially the food. I will be back and I gotta figure out what your recipe is for that hot honey cause I crave that now I'm in my own home the hunger Hawaiian will be back

After, my last experience with customer service, I had no interest in coming back. Although, thanks to my coworkers, they were raving about the pizza and I gave it another shot. I was not disappointed, it's probably one of the best in Seattle. It's about $6-$8 per slice and you could get away with only having one since the slices are HUGE. The bottom of the pizza is so crunchy while the top has a nice doughy touch to it. This place is my go to after work now! For the customer service, our server is always efficient and fast to get our order in! thanks to our server for making my experience better than before.

Everything great but no ice tea. Also, no pasta option for main courses. They allowed my service dog and the Empress martini's were BIG!

Ask the Community - Rocco's

How much for a slice of cheese or pepperoni?

About $8

Are you open on 26th Dec 2021?

Yes we are. And we have been waiting for you now for 2 years!

Is the new location similar decor/atmosphere? All the photos seem to be the old location (which I love)

The decor is infinitely more upscale, brighter, with more room. Rocco’s is now rather classy.

Do you have high chairs or booster seats for children?

Yes

Do they accept reservations?

We made a reservation there a few weeks ago, but if you're late you may lose the table. They were politely clear about that.

Love how we can have fun playing games, taking pics, choosing a song, and having great conversations in the comfy booths. Service is helpful. One night one of the games ate our quarters up and never worked so we let the bartender know and a few minutes later he gave us our quarters back. Staff is efficient and keeps the bar clean picking up any left behind glasses quickly. The bar is quirky and fun. Private and comfy booths, and lots of clowns everywhere. Sad clowns, happy clowns, creepy clowns, and more clowns than you can count! The bathrooms are unisex with plenty of stickers to look at. Always hand soap and toilet paper available even when busy. Hard working staff! Some areas of the bar like near the bathrooms have flashy lights and makes it feel like you're at the circus. The vibe is laid back and care free. The décor is old-school dark wood bar chic with small HK style neon signs hanging from the ceiling. The Seahawks celebrations merriment was still ongoing with karaoke blasting on Superbowl Sunday. Service was swift, and the food came out in a timely manner. I will remember this place for future late-night food. The Food: Rib Eye Steak Platter, $28 - 4.5 Stars This sizzling platter comes with your choice of sauce and a choice of starch. Hubby chose black pepper sauce and spaghetti. Hubby asked for medium rare, but the rarest they offer is medium due to being served on a sizzling platter. Fair enough. The platter did arrive smoking hot. The flavors were pretty good. The black pepper sauce was delivered warm, not very hot. The flavors met expectations. Stir Fried Udon with Tenderloin Steak, $20.95 - 4 Stars This dish is also done in a black pepper sauce. I quite like the high veggies-to-udon ratio, almost equal parts. Overall flavor is a bit salty. Some beef pieces are better than others, a mix of tender and chewy. Garlic Pepper Soft Shell Crab, $16.95 - 3.5 Stars Despite being fried, these pieces are softer, less crispy than I all other fried soft-shell crab I have had. Perhaps they might need to double fry. These have good flavor with good seasonings despite not being particularly crispy.

There is a caveat though, which is that they only have select items in the AYCE menu. The ambiance of the place was inviting enough for us to give them a try! There is a 90 minute window for AYCE, and you can order a maximum of 3 items per person every 15 minutes. All orders have to be made from an app on your phone so make sure you have a fully charged device! When we logged in the app, it was confusing to manage at first so we worked with the server to put our orders in. She had to put in our orders for us a couple of times and then we figured out how to work the system after that. To do the math for those reading the review and maximize the number of items you can order with the 90 minute window, you can potentially order up to 18 sets of skewers per person. Each set of skewer has two sticks. My hubby and I missed a few items from our order but we were getting full after my 10th skewer and his 15th skewer so it did not matter too much! The AYCE menu also has options to order zaru soba, corn cheese, and takoyaki! Presentation is great but I wish the flavor matched the visuals. The standout skewers for us were the boruta pork and the wagyu beef tongue. I was really hoping that the yakitori would be crispier and had more of a smokey flavor but I really can't complain too much for the price point. The food is solid but not like a wow, I have to come back here again! We only saw one server for the busiest part of the night, serving 8 tables all at once. She made sure that our glasses were never empty and she treated us warmly. Wile the decor and the general atmosphere are pleasant, the quality of the food would not merit another visit for me.

It serves comfort food - classic breakfast diner items that can bring a person back from the dead. The eclectic fellows that inhabit this establishment in the wee hours of the morning come in all shapes and sizes, but they just have one goal - eat something greasy and satisfying. That's where this place delivers. I ended up here at slightly after 3 AM - and it was pretty packed. All the tables were full, and we were considering leaving after about ten minutes when one finally opened up. The servers are incredibly busy, and it took us about 15 minutes to actually get our order in. I got the cheese curds as my meal. These were easily the best cheese curds I've ever had. In Seattle, I've had a few instances of cheese curds that are relatively sad on the inside - they have a decent fry, but fail on the cheese aspect. That's absolutely not the case here. This cheese is amazing. It's the perfect level of squeakiness, and the stretch is unreal. It has a very unique flavor that you'll only find in cheese curds, that soft yet milk-like taste that's so addicting. It was melty, gooey, and hot inside. The taste was just pure heaven - I was shocked at how good these were. The fry on the outside is also so good. It's light yet so crispy; a beautiful golden brown that produces an amazing crunch when you eat it. Just phenomenal. The sauce provided with this was solid, but honestly I didn't even need it as the curds were amazing by itself. I tried some of the chicken fried steak as well. This was fine. The scrambled eggs were decent, but the hash browns felt a little limp and soggy. The steak itself was pretty average. The prices here aren't too bad either - my cheese curds were around $16, but the portion size was more than enough. Overall, this is a true late night classic that serves pretty great food as well. 8.75/10

I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The current online menu doesn't say that anymore. Not sure if that deal is still available. Our server was easygoing. Note they charge 3% for credit card use. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.
