Great place to get pizza, Italian food, pasta, and Queen Anne. Good service, good portion sizes. I highly recommend and I would come back.

i've been wanting to try Cornelly's for a long time and I'm so glad they opened up a location with reservations. My friends and I decided to check it out and it's much bigger than the other location. The lighting is very nice. and it has a great vibe. It's perfect for a nice birthday dinner, date, or family night out. My friends and I ordered the bread, service margarita pizza, and a pasta to share. The pasta was so spicy I couldn't really eat it, but my friends enjoyed it. The pizza was good, but I think AK pizza is better. They can't really compete with New York Pizza either. The bread was really good though I like the flavor in the oil and it was perfectly toasted. You should definitely get the bread service if you come here they also serve it with a different butter every time this time it was a citrus maple butter, which I didn't love because it was kind of sweet. They were super sweet and our total, including tip came out to be $86.

I'm so glad they brought Cornelly to Queen Anne. This beautiful blue building catches the average passerby's eye and the casual, neat interior is perfect for any occasion. The delicious pizza wowed my friend and I and as thin-crust pizza lovers, I must say, Cornelly's does it well.

I was a fan of this place on cap hill and I'm happy to see it open in Queen Anne. The neighborhood is clearly desperate for something new and fresh as we waited 80mins for a table. (They do not take reservations) The drinks were great - martinis. The service was quick and efficient but not overly fussy. We all agreed the food was good but not exactly perfect, would have liked more flavor on a few items in the form of acid or salt. Overall glad to have this in the area and will return.

The biggest difference between this Cornelly location and the one in Capitol Hill is how spacious the restaurant is. I am so glad it is not as cramped as the other restaurant. The menu here is also different. They have more pastas and cocktails here, along with different appetizers and pizzas. I liked that they had more and different options of food to choose from. I wish they had the Hornet Honey pizza (Cornelly's best pizza in my opinion!) but you honestly can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and very delicious. I am a big fan of the pizza. I did go to this location on a weekday, so the food was brought out to us fairly quickly. The server was also very kind.

Cheese was nearly nonexistent, cooked down to a hard salty layer, sauce was very mid and also minimal. Crust was dense, had an okay bite but also overcooked. Pizza like this is supposed to be hot bubbly, have some cheese pull and a rich red sauce- this was none of those things. Either using cheap ingredients or they have a brick oven they don't know how to heat properly. This felt like it was left in the oven for too long at 350..

Pizza: solid toppings and flavor, crust was too crispy with some burnt spots Caesar: gooood, yummy dressing Focaccia: delicious, butter lacked flavor Server was really nice :)

There are two Cornelly locations but I chose this one since it seemed like parking would be easier. Sure enough, I was able to easily find street parking about 2 blocks away. I saw reviews about long lines so I arrived about 10 minutes before opening and I was the first one in line. The restaurant itself is very inviting and clean. I like the choice of blue for the walls, which complements the white chairs and the wooden tables. However I did think the music was a bit too loud. I started off by ordering the spaghetti (cherry tomato sauce, basil, parm, stracciatella). It was so tasty and perfectly al dente. I also ordered the "fun guys only" pizza (seasonal mushrooms, fontina cream, confit garlic, fresh mozzarella). I thought the mushrooms were tasty but the crust was a little too chewy for my preference. I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly the food was brought to my table. I started eating around 15 minutes after ordering. I am a fast eater so I was pretty much finished with my food in another 15 minutes. Soon after, the waiter asked if I wanted a box for the leftover pizza. I particularly didn't mind, but I could see how some might have felt a little rushed. I boxed up the pizza and asked for the menu again since I still wanted to order dessert. I chose the seasonal fruit tart with house vanilla ice cream. The tart had a nice crust, but it was a bit too sweet in my opinion. The ice cream was good. Overall, I recommend the pasta and coming in earlier in the evening to avoid long lines.

Great service. Our waitress was very informative and the way she described the food made me want to order everything. No wait on a Sunday evening... we were seated immediately, but the place was pretty busy. I was happy with everything we ordered and plan to return. This place was actually better than expected. We had the gem lettuce salad, focaccia, perfectly al dente spaghetti, and the summer sweetie (corn) pizza. My only annoyance is that my non-alcoholic beverage was from a can. Had I known this I wouldn't have ordered it. I was expecting them to make it fresh like other restaurants since they have a full bar. Turns out it was a brand called Figlia, it was bitter with little to no sugar... wasn't great. Otherwise we had a great experience and plan to return in the future.

Much more spacious seating area than the Cap Hill location. Been here at least twice, both times were on weekday nights for early dinner- there was no wait for us to get seated but immediately after us there was a line, so be prepared to wait if you don't get there right when they open. Standouts- bread service and bolognese. Tonnarelli was too heavy for my taste. With both the Cap Hill location and this one, I feel that their pizzas are hit or miss- sometimes they are great, sometimes they are way too salty. Parking is street or in the Safeway/TJ garages.

This place has a very long line and is very busy! They do not take reservations so if you want to eat at a relatively normal dinner time expect to either come early to put your name in or know that they will be a pretty long wait. They do have a text message system that you can check your place in line but no time estimates like they have on Yelp. We waited about as long as was estimated- was sat 45 min after adding our name at 5:45pm (4 people). The space is all solid blue with some decor and plants - very loud inside but not so loud you couldn't hear your dining companions. We were greeted right away and given water and menus. We were also told that family style is recommended because dishes come out as they are ready and not all at once. I thought this was very important info to share with guests. We ordered three different pizzas, all yummy - we all liked the classic Margherita the best, followed by the Not so Classic Pep and the Sawyer. Crust was well cooked underneath on the bottom (which some places leave it a bit runny and it's harder to eat), ratios of cheese to toppings were right, and crust itself was quality. Overall we enjoyed our evening. This place is probably better suited for a date night or special evening out with friends, but I don't think I'd put it on my short list for take out pizza. I'm curious to know if they ever rotate their pizza menu, but I'd like to come back and maybe try some of the other items on the menu too.

This is a second location of a restaurant that has existed in Capitol Hill for quite a while. This location is much more spacious and consequently also has a different/more extensive menu as the kitchen has more room as well. I really enjoyed the pasta and wine. Compared to the other higher-end, well-known Italian place on top of Queen Anne, this restaurant is definitely the winner in my opinion both for quality/taste and for overall experience. I came alone around 7pm on a Thursday when it was fairly busy, but not completely packed out, and did not have any problems with the service or flow. I hope to return to try the pizza sometime.

The arancini was a special of the evening and came out perfectly hot and crispy. The calamari was also fried very well. We walked in as a party of 2 on a Thursday around 9pm and it was not too busy - probably half the bar was occupied. We opted to sit at one end of the bar because the bar seats are where the vibes are at. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

We ordered munchies and drinks while we waited for our table at Delancey. The bartender / server knew we would be headed to Delancey in 40 minutes or so, and handled things well accordingly. We got a plate of olives (tasty, great finger food) and drinks. The Yonder cider was good, not too sweet. The Martini was tasty. I had two quibbles: The first was with the pricing: the martini was charged as two separate items: 1) gin (I suppose the charge varies by the kind of gin or vodka in your martini) 2) martini (which is apparently the non-vodka or or non-gin part of your drink) While I'm sure this makes it easier to track for the bartender and inventory, as well as for charging, as a customer, it's a little odd to have a mixed drink be a two-part charge. The second was the included 20% automatic gratuity. I don't object to the concept of a standard service charge, I just wish it had been more prominently displayed so that I wouldn't have added a 20% tip on top of that (and my tip was on the amount that included tax, service charge and drinks / food). So, buyer beware ... the service is good, the ambiance is nice, the food and drinks are good -- but the payment / billing is non-standard, and can cause unexpected surprises.

I am showing my age by saying the restaurant is VERY LOUD, and our table was in a very dark spot in the restaurant. Oddly, they didn't have enough table lamps for all the dark tables. Our server said they "ran out". How does that happen? I stalked a departing table to take their rechargeable lamp. Anyway, my expectations were likely too high going in, and I was annoyed before even ordering, turning on our cellphone light to read the menu. The food is pretty good, though not mind-blowing good like the reviews suggest, and we had one bad dish. They offer varied Khmer dishes beyond noodle varieties, which is a plus. Go if you are looking for variety, skip the fish, bring ear plugs, and hope you have a brighter table than ours. Parking is street only. 3 Stars for the food, minus 1 star for the restaurant environment (unrelated to staff) The Food: k'tiss dip with crudités, $18 - 4 Stars We chose the marrow stone blue oyster mushroom option - p'set. The mushrooms are sautéed in Khmer seasonings, fermented bean curd, and coconut milk. The veggies are mildly pickled. They paired surprisingly well and a unique dish to try. kroeung kumeraage, $15 - 4 Stars This dish has an option of fried chicken or fried mushrooms. We chose the chicken since we already had mushrooms. Kroeung is the Khmer seasoning. Our server said this dish and papaya salad are amongst the most popular. Since we have a veggie dish, we chose this over the papaya salad (which looks great, too). The chicken is lightly fried, not crispy outside, super tender, and paired well with the kroeung aioli. trei chmouy tuk tei omperi, $40 - 1 Star The menu says serves 2 but not really. The is a pan seared fish, make your own fish wrap. We did not know we ordered a DIY dish, which is ok in principle, just not good to be surprised. The menu doesn't say so; the server didn't mention it. Luckily, by this time of the meal, we have acquired the little table lamp, which enabled me to see the long fish bones that had not been removed. FIVE of them. The noodles are a pathetic overcooked limp pile. The best part is the turmeric sauce. Do not order this dish. Epilogue: I happened to walk by Sophon this past weekend. I was surprised to see a sign saying they are temporarily closed to resolve internal issues. (See photo) That is never a good reflection of management. There is now a GoFundMe for the unpaid staff who had to quit their jobs.
