Met a friend here for brunch last weekend. It's located in a shopping center and as I approached the restaurant, it immediately gave South Beach/Miami vibes. The style of outdoor seating, decor, and color scheme were tropical and inviting. It's order first then find a seat. I was fortunate enough to find a seat after arriving around 10:45am. I ordered the coffee flight, so that I could take a table and wait for my friend. I was able to order the coffee flight with decaf and oatmilk. They did add whipped cream on top of each and it tasted like regular milk. It was fine! Once she arrived we went back to the counter and ordered using the same number. If ypu have anxiety, check out the menu in advance and write down your order. It's a lot of pressure to stand at the counter and order while there's a line behind you. I decided on the pancake flight and added sides of bacon and home fries. This place is halal so the bacon options were turkey and beef. My friend ordered the traditional breakfast with a waffle, turkey bacon and fruit. The food was delicious! The pancake flight was such a great. Each one unique and flavorful. I loved how small the home fries were diced. Don't expect crispy bacon, but it was still flavorful and harty. As was the coffee flight. The white chocolate raspberry was our favorite coffee, followed by the Biscoff. The Dubai chocolate and lavender ones were good, but the flavors were more subtle. Overall a great value for the money. The staff were attentive. After my visit, I received some information about some controversy a few months back. .If you're concerned about that, understood. If you want good food and a Miami like environment, go check them out.

This business is located in a large shopping plaza with other businesses so there is shared parking surrounding the restaurant. The restaurant is cute with nice decor and indoor & outdoor seating. You place your order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you. The cashier that I engaged with was pleasant. Unfortunately when I got my home fries they were not hot and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. Actually none of the food was hot but I only sent back the potatoes. The cashier was apologetic and brought new potatoes out a short time later. The potatoes and eggs were bland with no seasoning. The bacon was very fatty. The biscoff pancakes were the best thing on my plate. There is an up charge to get those with the sample platter.

My friends were looking for some place that had brunch and decided to give Pineapple Sol a try. It took us minute to find the place so just note it's on the lower level. If you park where the Whole Foods is it might be easier to find. I didn't catch the cashiers name but she was so bubbly and friendly. She made recommendations and even gave us some sample cheesecake bites at the end of our dining experience. I had the chicken and waffles and it was so delicious. I'm sad I didn't take a pic before devouring but trust me it was good. My friends ordered avocado toast, salad and a couple of mixed drinks and everyone was satisfied. There are tables inside as well as outside to eat. They also have a few photo ops with fun quotes on the wall. Overall good food and cozy vibes.

I stopped by Pineapple Sol Café in Cary and ordered an açaí bowl to go. The sanitation score posted was a 92, which already gave me pause. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't much better. It took a full 30 minutes to get my order. About 15 minutes in, a staff member brought out my bowl--but it wasn't in a to-go container. They had to take it back, and I assume remake it, because it was another 15 minutes before I finally received it. The bowl itself was tasty, but for the size, definitely overpriced. Overall, a disappointing experience that could be improved with better organization and timeliness.

I stopped in here with my son for brunch. They have pancake and French toast flights. Y'all I tried to convince him to share with me, but he declined. I def want to go back and try. The avocado toast was super filling especially with poached eggs. The atmosphere is super fun and upbeat. Love the decor. The service was quick and the food was on the table in no time.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. The price for all this in the photo ~$32 so a bit on the higher side. But overall happy with it.

Small cafe located in a shopping center in Cary. We ordered and paid at the counter and an employee brought our food to our table. It took about 15 minutes from when we ordered at the counter to when we received it. I ordered the pancake flight and the monthly pancakes were red velvet, cranberry chip, and strawberry cream. They were good flavors, but I prefer my pancakes to be a bit softer/fluffier. The cafe was nicely decorated and very bright inside. There are a small number of tables inside and outside, but thankfully it wasn't too busy when we got there. I would've preferred to see the employees scrubbing the tables after customers got up to leave because there were quite a few crumbs/stickiness leftover from their meals. There's a ton of parking and shops in the area so this was a nice place to spend the morning!

We also ordered the coffee flight that came with a lavender, Dubai chocolate, biscoff, and white chocolate raspberry flavors and they were all very tasty! The Dubai chocolate was our favorite! They can all be served either hot or iced. We went on 3/19/26 and I forgot to ask the young lady at the counter for her name but she was very friendly and helpful with the menu as she asked us if it was our first time. We will definitely be back!

When I walked in I was immediately greeted. It gave me a cute bakery vibe but with interest because they serve Brunch! I had the latte with hazelnut and almond milk. PERFECT Temperature. I also had. the pancakes with ricotta and blueberry and the crispy chicken with sriracha honey sauce. This was my first visit and the food and service was great! I came on a Saturday around noon. It's small business, the owner was very nice, and the food was decent I gave it two stars. However, i wouldn't give our server any stars, if she had stars (doubtful) I'd like to take those from her. My daughter and my husband took me out to breakfast for Mother's Day. We were at the restaurant when they opened so there was no reason for the server to already have a bad attitude. At one point we stopped dealing with her all together, and just walked up to the counter when we needed something. If the food is just Ok, the service needs to be great. She was terrible. Fortunately for her she didn't wear a name tag, but if she's still working there and she gets your table, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about within the first five minutes. read more

I got the early bird sandwich, with a side of fresh fruit. First the steak was very flavorful, the biscuit was nice and buttery, and eggs cooked to perfection. Secondly the fruit was actually fresh, and they give you a lot of it which I loved. Also got a strawberry cake which was also delicious and a great way to end my late morning breakfast. 10/10 recommend read more

I can not say enough good things about this place! The ambiance is so fun and I love the coffee flights!! The staff is so sweet and welcoming and the catering is top notch!! Finding a catering company that not only shows up on time, delivers on taste but also on an amazing presentation of their delicious foods isn't easy but they do just that!! If your goal is to find a quick and easy brunch spot, this isn't it. Seating is limited as the space is not big and is often crowded with the brunch rush. My boyfriend and I went on Saturday for brunch after hearing about their coffee flights. We ordered the truffle fries and a coffee flight (which is a set menu of a cold brew, latte, mocha, and caramel macchiato). The fries were decent and came out fairly quickly. The coffee flight, despite being told that it was a 15 minute wait, took an hour to come out and was subpar at best -- totally not worth it. Not to mention, one of the glasses come out filthy!! Customer service was awful when confronted about this, often saying "I don't know" or "it's coming." With how expensive it was, I expected more. Will not be coming back. read more

Honestly was super excited to try this place after hearing so much but then was severely disappointed in staff behavior and the food. Ordered he lavender pancakes and they came bare - not how the menu described. When I asked for whipped cream on the side - I was told no? And then when I asked for berries (just as the menu had stated - I just didnt want to have blue berries) and they said that's all we have when there were strawberries in everyone else's plate... I messaged/commented that I'd had a negative experience on their Facebook and that I'd love to talk to them about it but no one ever got back to me, so here I am. I ordered some gelato and I could tell the girl was struggling to scoop it it was so hard. I asked her if any other flavors were softer and she immediately said No, so she knew. I wanted to ask for a refund instead of watching her struggle, but the line was really long. We went outside and waited for our food. Our actual food came out and we started eating, a good amount of time goes by and she finally brings out the gelato and just sort of thrusts it on the table and rushes away. It's so sad. It was all tiny pieces of icy, hard gelato. I shook the cup and it all fell to the bottom. I doubt it was even a full scoop. They just shouldn't be selling it. The freezer is too cold and it was icy, so it had thawed and refrozen at some point. My chicken salad was ok, but I had several gross, slimy pieces in my actual salad. My companion ordered an iced coffee and she said the coffee had a distinct burned flavor. She drank very little of it. She also ordered a chicken wrap and said the chicken was really chewy and unappetizing. I tried to reach out to them instead of leaving a negative review, but they left me no choice. read more

Staff didn't know the menu when asked about a dish. Couldn't answer what was included or an extra charge in an entree. Staff talked badly about customers behind the counter. When silverware was brought out. The girl put the silverware on the end of the table and it dropped on the floor. Asked for a new fork and they went back behind the counter and again talked badly. When the coffee came out, the cold brew was 1/4 cold brew and 3/4 milk... the froth on the other drink, which was a latte was burnt,dark and crusted on top. Just an overall bad experience and they were not willing to rectify anything. Really cute place and has a lot of potential but the staff was just horrible and couldn't properly make coffee or have knowledge on what they even serve. read more

I've tried Pineapple Sol twice for their charcuterie and everyone loved it so I was excited for the restaurant. The space is done up nicely, though it's reminiscent of the old cafe that used to be in its place (Crema I believe) so it'd be nice to see them change that vibe, as that cafe was not a very friendly spot. The food is very reasonably priced too, though service is a little slow and the servers seem to be still learning, our coffees were dripping and they confused the order a little. The pancakes are the star for sure, very light and flavorful. The Turkey club and the chicken mushroom was also light and good brunch fare. The Turkey eggs Benedict was also definitely worth it. I wouldn't order the fries again, they were just okay, and the coffees were definitely nice too. It's also halal mostly which is great for those with restrictions such as my family members. They accommodate gluten free restrictions too which was great: the Gf pancakes were solid. I'll definitely be back for coffee and snacks with friends, though not sure if the brunch menu is worth it yet. read more

This was so fun! We were walking around because the hubs and I were on a waitlist for another restaurant in Waverly, we just happened to see some of the amazing food people were eating and stopped in! When some friends came to visit, I decided to try a new brunch spot. Pineapple Sol is really cute. I like the concept of ordering and then finding a seat, but it is rather small. So, if you have a large party, seating could be a challenge. We ordered pancakes, egg whites, turkey bacon, avocado toast and a smoothie. Everything was yummy, but we couldn't eat it all. The owners and staff at Pineapple Sol are so kind! If you eat halal, this is the place to go for your next brunch- lots of sweet and savory options, beautiful location in Waverly Place, indoor and outdoor seating along with coffee & a picturesque cafe seating area! My favorite was the churro French toast! For the Muslim community in the area, all of their menu is halal so check it out with your friends and family. They also cater and do picnic events. It's a beautiful place but you really don't get what you pay for here . The $8 hibiscus flight was too sweet and just tasted like the kids freeze pops with a few cubes of ice . The servers were sweet but and fast but lacked menu knowledge about what they did and didn't have . When we asked a server if they had regular tortillas for the breakfast burrito they replied yes so we requested it on the regular one. We were also told they had no panini bread and asked if a croissant was okay to which we replied yes. Food came out and it was on a spinach tortilla when this was brought to the server's attention they said "oh we don't have those but it's fine they taste the same" this was the same server who said they did have them and approve the request to put it on one. The panini came out on a panini which was fine but my mom was looking forward to the croissant after being told about it, I just feel like this is something a server should come out and ask or at least inform someone about. Last but not least , chicken and waffles - presentation 5/5 flavor maybe a 2 . The waffle was soggy and the chicken was not crisp. I just feel like this is a place you're paying more so for to look at and take pics of stuff and not for quality of food. read more

The marketing team and photographers are excellent. The real life...not so much. We ordered at the counter and were told it was a 30 min wait for coffee. and food. Whatever, we'll wait. (It wasn't that crowded). The food came one at a time, we were not given silverware. when we asked, we were pointed to plasticware to go retrieve ourselves. The food did not resemble what the menu said. over easy eggs on a biscuit with hollandaise sauce. we had a croissant with hash browns and spinach on top and topped with the egg. It wasn't even worth eating. Finally the coffee flight came which is the main reason for coming. it did not resemble the picture and tasted like water. Did not finish. this was a waste of money and time. Do not waste your time coming for the amazing looking coffee flight! Will never be returning! read more

They need to know when to stop taking orders. When we arrived they did not have the kitchenware to provide their most advertised item in the coffee flight. After ordering there was not a place to sit. When a table did open up we had to bus our own table. When the food came out it was cold as if had been sitting for 20 mins. We had to go in to get our own silverware as it didn't come out with the food, and the silverware was plastic because once again they didn't have the kitchenware to support the orders they kept taking. PineappleSol catered my daughter's baby shower and it was amazing. I had the grazing table for 25 people and also had them make cupcakes as well as decorated cookies as favors for our guests. I can't say enough for the outstanding customer service from the moment I sent a request for information to a follow up email as to is there anything they could do to improve. They came to my home and prepared the table and even accommodated our request for half the table to be vegetarian. The food was delicious and our guests could not stop raving over the presentation. The place is crowded. Sunday is not a good time to go there. We had chicken and waffles with some empanadas. The empanadas were so bad my wife had to say something. They tasted like they were made a week ago. Her coffee was cold. My tea was just ok. Service was slow. At the prices we paid, I cannot recommend this place. We ordered fries as a replacement for the empanadas and they forgot about the order and us. This restaurant is also too crowded. The ambiance was not great. Food took forever I was with four girls for a birthday brunch and my food came 15 minutes after theirs...they were done eating. Food finally gets here just for my pancakes, eggs and bacon to be terrible. My Bacon was good, my pancakes were not done and they tasted like funnel cakes way too sweet. I asked for my eggs to be fried hard they were runny. I asked for a biscuit, because my I was dissatisfied with my meal I pretty much just end up making a $10 bacon biscuit... at least a biscuit was fresh. I will never come back. read more

I ordered a cake for my team and they loved it! Staff during pick up was friendly. I did notice one lady trying to keep up with both dine-in and takeout orders, so my only recommendation is to have more staff up front to avoid long delays (noticed some counter customers becoming agitated). read more

A solid and unique brunch and lunch place with a good variety of vegetarian and some vegan options. It has some covered outdoor seating, which makes it a good place to eat if the weather is decent. I got a latte, the Newport Burrito (vegan brunch burrito), and the chocolate gelato, all of which were good. I think the only slight knock I had was that I wish the side salad that came with the burrito had some more stuff in it, besides tomatoes and greens. Still, the dressing on the side was really good and it was very fresh, so it still tasted good. read more

I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

You can get a punch card for every coffee and get one free on your tenth purchase. They have a great pastry selection. My intention had been to linger a while and read but I decided to leave. The place was about 1/4 full when I left but all the tables still had crumbs, food debris and water on them made it too unpleasant to stick around. Very disappointing. I don't see myself going back any time soon. I do love their bread but I'm sure I can find someplace more pleasant or go to the downtown location instead.

They moved, and we were genuinely upset, because they were SO CLOSE to us. Yesterday, we had to drive half an hour to get there, but, again, it did not disappoint. The wings NEVER disappoint. The brisket sando was so good, and you never need BBQ sauce. It's moist, it can be messy, and the taste is always on point.

The meat quality? It's the cheapest cut you could ever get. The kalbi cut is so thin and tasted old (spoiler alert, they should be thicker and higher quality..), the other unseasoned meat cut is lower quality too. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

I NEVER leave reviews but.. I felt this one needed to be shared. I went in with my bestfriend who came to visit me from out of town and I saw this place on tiktok so decided to give it a try. We ordered our food, only two tables there because it's raining on a Thursday. We waited an hour for our food. The waiter claimed it's due to their printer not working in the back.. which I understand malfunctions but, my issue came from her ONLY telling the table next us about the issue and not even taking the time to tell my table about it. She brought us a coffee flight (which was amazing) and still did not mention a word to us. I ended up taking the empty plate of coffee flights to her & that's when she decided she'd tell us about it. Even then the table next to us (who got there after us) got their food before us. We kept being promised "your food will be out shortly" and still had been there for an hour waiting for our food when there was only two tables to be serviced. It should never have taken that long even after noticing the order malfunction. read more

I had the grilled cheese sandwich with soup, and it was hands down the best grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so excited to come here to try the French toast, however, this was our first time out with…read moreour 6 month old, so we got there a little after 11am, which is when they stop serving their brunch menu. I didn't realize they had a separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menu (I guess they use brunch and breakfast interchangeably) so definitely something to note if you have your eye on a specific dish. We started with the pull apart bread which was reminiscent of the old school cafeteria rolls I had in elementary school (a great comparison) and were delicious - wonderful crunch on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. It came with chive butter, then the host gave us the honey butter. Both were good, I just preferred the chive. I had the roasted turkey French dip which was good, just not memorable. My husband liked his shrimp and grits, said it was rich, but tasty. I absolutely loved the decor and vibe of this place, I would go back for the vibes alone! The staff was really nice too. There's a bakery in the front, I think was closed since it was lunch time, but I would definitely return to Birdies!
