This was my first time dining here, and the experience was really pleasant. This is mostly to do with the service received by Jeff. We had a lively table, and he was able to make recommendations to us about what food to share, enjoy and his own favorites. Jeff was prompt in refilling our beverages, and remembered the small details like a lime slice with the Diet Coke. The food was fantastic, the three of us shared everything. The only thing missing is a photo of the dessert, highly recommend the spumoni dessert - it features a table side marshmallow toast. So fun! An amazing date night spot. We'll be back for sure. Went here on an anniversary dinner and booked at 9pm, got there 5min late and they were still setting up tables no big deal. Sat in 5-10min on a Friday night. Dillon did great with our service. Ordered the Regina Colletta pizza, and the brown butter ravioli also got the polpette and foccacia. Overall we were very impressed with this place, we ordered dishes that are harder to make, since we love to cook ourselves and they did an amazing. We'll be back for other staples for sure. Main critique I would say is the Pizza, we wouldn't order that flavor again but it was still very good. The balsamic isn't too strong. We just prefer simpler pizza and more well done. But the pizza we feel has the best value. Mushroom ravioli has amazing flavor, deep, rich, all working very well. However, We'll just order more classic dishes next time like the clam spaghetti, chicken parm, you can't go wrong here really.... All in all 9/10 experience, 4.5 starts if I could give that. Ambiance is cute and casual but chic because of the low lighting and the cleanliness. There are three levels of seating, tables, raised booths, and the bar tops. It's great bc it diffuses the noise. Very pleased with our experience here. I booked this spot for our rehearsal luncheon, and it turned out to be a great choice. They had a private area that felt perfect for the occasion--beautifully decorated with huge windows that made the space feel bright and inviting. There is a room fee though. We did the family-style meal, and everyone had nothing but positive things to say about the food. There was so much of it too--more than enough for our group. The charcuterie board was excellent, but the pizzas were the standout. The crust was light, crisp, and not overly charred. The sausage and mushroom pizza was a crowd favorite, topped with a great variety of mushrooms. The rigatoni was also delicious. The tiramisu was just okay, but thankfully the portion was small because we were already stuffed. Service was excellent and truly could not have been better. Though online it said they didn't have reservations, I called to confirm they were taking walkins and upon arrival, we were immediately seated. Their alternative to calamari was delicious! It had fried clams and oysters instead of calamari and a sauce. We had plenty for two with leftovers. The focaccia bread was delicious. The cheese on top is a great touch. For our meals my mom got the chicken parm and I got their signature pasta dish the tagliatelle. The issue came with the amount of time between our appetizers and our main dishes. It was long. And as we anticipated, our dishes were cold. Considering it was late and had taken so long, we ate them anyway. The flavor was good, but would have been better hot. We came here for brunch after a concert. The place looked pretty fancy so we felt underdressed (although absolutely no one cared). The server we had was so nice and made everything on the menu sound so good it was hard to choose one thing. I ended up getting the Breakfast Pizza with sunny side up eggs, per her recommendation. They make the pizza dough in house from scratch and you can definitely taste it. I usually don't like crusts but I couldn't get enough of this one. Our server was excellent, along with the entire staff who would come in to clear plates and provide new silverware after the apps. The service at this Italian restaurant in Fenton is superb. The location is great too (I love Fenton). And the dimly lit ambience after dark is perfect for a romantic date night or celebratory dinner. The food unfortunately didn't meet our expectations -- likely because we didn't go with the recommended pizza entree we had heard about. If I ever visit again, I'm going with that recommendation! My daughter and son would not recommend the agnolini mantovani (blue crab, crab roe, squid ink, chives, and other items I can't quite recall). The dish is a very small portion (one of the reasons they selected it) -- more like an appetizer -- but the seafood smell from this dish is BIG! One said the dish "wasn't bad" though he hated the smell of the dish, and the other didn't enjoy the dish at all. I had a Caesar salad which was just ok after I removed the chicken (I assumed it would be grilled chicken since that generally comes on Caesar salads but it was crispy chicken, the only way the chicken is available here.) I let the waitress know that I was surprised by the crispy chicken and she removed the salad from our tab in its entirety (I told you the service is superb.) If I visit again, I'll be ordering a nice pizza as suggested by a friend. The food we had was very good and the service was top notch! My husband and I shared the gnocchi and risotto as well as the watermelon feta appetizer. I probably would change the appetizer we had simply because we don't love arugula (oversight on our end) but the main entrees were really good! We left with zero food left on our plates. The staff were very attentive to fill our glasses and to clean off empty/ dirty dishes right away. And now, don't get me started on the food . It's a limited menu, which is good because you know they focus on a few dishes and make them as good as possible. The prices are a little high, but the service and taste of the food is worth it. Everyone in our party of nine enjoyed their drinks, the appetizers, their entrées and the desserts. Most had to get a box to take part of their entree home. I went for the lasagna, because how do you judge Italian restaurants ? If not by their lasagna. While it was good, it was not the best I ever had and I wish I'd ordered one of the other dishes my friends had gotten. Just a word to the wise. We all shared tastes of almost everything. It was all good. However, the consensus was that the best dessert was the brûlée sweet potato torta that I ordered. So tasty. It might be seasonal so you have to hurry and go try it. The earliest reservations we could get were for 8 p.m. on a Friday night, and we ordered pretty quickly. We both ordered the whipped ricotta with bread appetizer, which was yummy and arrived in a timely manner. However, our main courses took more than an hour to arrive. Parties who arrived after us were nearly done with their food before ours had even come out. Our server was attentive at first but disappeared. I am not one to flag a server or staff person down, but I was considering it at one point because it really felt like we'd been forgotten. When our food finally arrived, it was almost 10 p.m. Our friends' chicken parm looked really good and hot, but my ravioli was lukewarm and undercooked, and my husband's measly manicotti had literal burnt edges -- the pasta was crunchy with hardly any cheese or sauce covering it. They almost looked like naked enchiladas? We were starving by this point and frustrated, but we also didn't want to ruin our friend's birthday with sour moods, so we ate our food, enjoyed our company and conversation, and vowed on the car ride home to never go back. read more

We had Nivena as our server and she was amazing. Her service was exceptional and her actions will lead us to return alot sooner. It was nice and warm as it was around 25degrees outside. We arrived 30min early from our reservation and they worked us in anyway. With it being Restaurant week we got an appetizer or pizza, main entree and a dessert for $50 per person. It was a great deal. Each meal received a 10 from us. My better half ordered spicy pizza, manicotti and apple crumble cake. I ordered the meatballs, ossa bucca and apple crumble cake. We don't drink but we ordered the berry blast drink and amber apple drink which are zero proof. We honestly have nothing to complain about except the cold weather and icy parking lot. Grabbed dinner from here recently with my wife and enjoyed my meal! First, we didn't have a reservation, but because we were eating early, we managed to snag a table. The only downside was that we had to be finished with our meal by 5:30, as that's when the next couple (with a reservation!) was coming. Challenge accepted! Our server did an excellent job throughout our meal. He was present without being annoying, and he had answers to all of our food and drink questions. We ended up splitting the Caesar salad as an appetizer, and we got the Crest di Gallo pasta dish (which was basically a bolognese) and Mafaldine pasta dish (which had loads of mushrooms!) for our entrees, which we also shared. The Caesar salad took a while to come out, so they provided some meatballs free of charge, which were very tasty! The Caesar salad was actually just OK, so I'll probably order the meatballs next time :) The pasta dishes were also good! Nothing crazy but they hit the spot. We were really suprised for how expensive the food was, that there was no complimentary bread, which I feel like most italian restaurants have. We ordered the tagliatelle, sachetti, and mushroom and sausage pizza. The tagliatelle was pretty good and filling. we were suprised by the portion size of the Sacchetti since it was $32. It was about 7-8 dumpling size pieces and it literally only filled half of the plate that it came out on (see picture), so that was a little disappointing. However, the fig jus was delicious and i loved that it was a sweet/savory dish. The pizza was also fine. We ordered the bruleed sweet potato torta dessert to go. It was not too sweet and tasted like a sweet potato pie. Overrall, the food was a little expensive but good, not sure if we will back again. I made reservations for lunch at 11. We arrived when they opened and were promptly seated. Our waitress was very friendly albeit not very attentive. We ordered the shrimp and polenta and the tagliatelle. My mother enjoyed her shrimp and polenta but admitted it wasn't the best. The sauce added made it soupy and hard to dig out the shrimp to remove the tails. We also ordered the focaccia with oil and vinegar, it was fresh and delicious. The tagliatelle wasn't very flavorful but I appreciated the egg yolk. The problem was that it took us almost 45 minutes to get our food when we were literally the first table seated. My mom theorized they may have lost our order since several tables were now seated and enjoying their food. Altogether I wouldn't come back for the food but the ambience and setting was beautiful. I just wish we'd have been served in a timely manner. Also when we finally got our entrees, the waitress asked if we'd like Parmesan or black pepper added, to which my mom said yes and I declined. She then proceeded to walk back to the kitchen area and started putting away glasses. We waited and saw that she wasn't returning so I got her attention when she was looking our way and I asked her if she was still getting the Parmesan for my mom. She apologized profusely stating she thought we both had declined.
