I recently had the opportunity to return to Cafe Tiramisu in its new location. It is still in the Northridge Shopping Center, but it's moved to the section near Ace Hardware. The restaurant space is still small, though it feels a bit larger than their previous location. I did my best to snap a few photos, but it is very popular, even on a Monday. Parking seemed a little easier in this section, so we were able to park closer to the entrance. I was with a large group, and the staff did a wonderful job moving tables together to accommodate us all, even though we took up a lot of the seating for the night. The staff was just as friendly and attentive as I remembered. A few of us had a little trouble hearing our waiter, but that was likely just from the normal noise levels in a cozy, busy space. I decided to try something new and ordered the chicken mascarpone. The chicken itself was delicious, and I had never had it stuffed with cheese before, but the overall dish was just a bit too rich for me with so many heavy flavors combined. It featured a fettuccine Alfredo base topped with the thin chicken breast stuffed with spinach, mascarpone, and mozzarella cheese, all finished with a layer of marinara sauce. I had planned to get dessert but didn't feel like any of the options on rotation that night. They had a chocolate cake, a rum coconut cake, a cannoli, their signature tiramisu, and an Amaretto cake. Hopefully, they will bring back the Almond Joy Pie for my next visit! read more

Great service. Attentive and friendly. Food was very good. Veal Ravioli and Chicken Limone with Ravioli were delicious. Meatballs as a side were OK/good as was the marinara sauce. Wine selection is solid. Prices are fair. Loved sitting in the booth : ) ... it was very very loud inside. read more

The food was simply amazing. The boulgenese was to die for! I would highly recommend this dish. Great with a good Cabernet. The veal Marsala was perfectly paired with house made spinach pasta. It does not get any better. Luke, our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. His recommendations were spot on to our tastes. The rum/coconut cake was perfect to top of the evening for my birthday. The new location with a complete upgrade makes this a very intimate experience for a great price. Just loved it. read more

Their new restaurant location is great! We made reservations on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. For appetizers we ordered the eggplant stacker and fried calamari. The calamari were extremely good. For entrees, our party enjoyed the chicken mascarpone, pork loin chop, and tortellini carbonara. The portions were huge and you could definitely split. The dishes were very good. They did take quite a bit of time to come out to us though. For dessert we got the Tiramisu, which was fair, but I was expecting it to be a bit better. Overall, I would still definitely return. read more

My new favorite local restaurant. We arrived a good deal early for our reservations so we took a seat at the bar and each had an awesome cocktail. My wife a Cosmo and I had their Black Forest Manhatten. The Penne Ofo was perfect. Shrimp cooked delicate, pasta was on point. Fried Oysters were like something I never had. The sauce was really nice and made the dish special. read more

We went to the new location this time. We were crammed into a corner table. The tables were extremely close to each other. Very loud. We got the calamari was bits of nothing. I ordered the limone chicken. It was so pale it looked unappetizing. My daughter ordered the chicken pasta piccata. It had a very bitter aftertaste. She didn't eat it. We ended up taking our leftovers home and throwing them out. Our waitress Casey was the bright spot of our meal. The parking is pretty bad because ace hardware owns multiple spots and Buffalo Wild Wings is next door. The bar area is stunning. I think they should have spent more time on the seating arrangement so the guest aren't on top of each other. We will not be returning. read more

I just went to Cafe Tiramisu for the first time on my mothers birthday and we had the most amazing experience. We started with hot fresh bread and a delicious blend of herbs and olive oil followed by an amazing red from a wonderful list of wines. I got the steak frits and for $40isb dollars I will be back often! It is my new favorite in North Raleigh! It comes in a peppercorn sauce that is to die for! I did sit at the bar and it was very nice and clean. The bartenders were great. It is a bit of an older crowd, but I still felt accepted as a young person in there. I didn't end with the tiramisu, but I did get the Rum chocolate cake and it was amazing. I've gone back since and had the same amazing experience read more

I went to Cafe Tiramisu in a group of 17 on 8/31/2026. We ordered a variety of dishes and all dishes were excellent! They also have incredible desserts! Our group required two tables, and Brandon was the server for my table. He was amazing! We received top notch service and attention--and they even re-folded our napkins if we left the table. Nice touch. I have never had that done at any other restaurant. Cafe Tiramisu will be on our schedule for future visits. read more

Cafe Tiramisu is a very intimate Italian restaurant located in a shopping center in North Raleigh. I loved how private the restaurant was because there were these screens between the booths that made your dining experience special. The inside was also very elegant and dimly lit. We chose this restaurant because everyone talks very highly of it, so we had to get the famous spinach alfredo. I got it with pollo alla paola and my partner got it with grilled shrimp. I was able to get mine without prosciutto because I don't eat pork so don't be afraid to ask because many of the choices here had prosciutto. It also came with a lemon sauce that I wasn't a fan of and was a little strong. The shrimp order was a custom order. The menu consisted of different variations of mostly chicken with their spinach alfredo along with a few steak, pork chop, and fish options. The food was very filling but could use a touch more of seasoning. We got a side of creamed spinach but it was more like sautéed spinach on a plate of milk so I wasn't a fan. The cocktails were good. read more

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! Has a city vibe with delicious cocktails and superb appetizers! The grilled shrimp appetizer was so flavorful yet delicate and tender. The veal saltimbocca served with spinach fettuccine is a must have. Meatballs and salmon were perfectly prepared and tasty. But the bread... oh the crusty Italian bread... was to die for!!! Our server Amberlee was exceptional and very professional and knowledgeable! Would highly recommend and plan on going back! read more

Last nights dinner experience was one I have rarely ever had. I felt like our server did not care to be involved at all. Starting from the basics, we saw everyone had a bread basket but us. I also ordered steak and frites, and had asked the server if I was able to get it well-done (I know some restaurants do not like to) he said yes thats fine. Upon slicing the steak, it was still pink and not well-done. I could not even let the server know as after our food was delivered, the server NEVER came back to check on us. The person serving us water came more than the actual waiter. I had to switch food and eat the chicken and gave my steak away. I would not even say it was busy as even when we received the bill, the waiter did not come back until 10-15 minutes later to retrieve it. I am honestly dissapointed. The only reason it got two stars was the presentation was nice and the ladies serving us water were kind. read more

Nestled in North Ridge, this place delivers on more than just a meal. Whether you're here for a romantic dinner, a celebratory feast, or just to see if their tiramisu lives up to the name (spoiler: it does), you'll enjoy your time. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed their spin on the espresso martini, the eggplant stacker, insalata di zucca and wedge salads, and the autumn chicken and gnocchi for entrees. No room for dessert this time but we can't wait to return! read more

I have been proudly going to Cafe Tiramisu since 1999 and consistently year over year. I would normally give it a 5 rating, but this go round I unfortunately give it a 2. Last night's food was great as always, the new interior is exceptional. The dining room and bar were packed...took 45 minutes go get our food. They need more staff. My girlfriend and I like to eat at the bar, as we enjoy sitting next to each other and enjoy the increased noise from everyone talking and enjoy talking with the folks around us. Last night the noise was out of control, mostly because of the group seated next to us...3 ladies and one guy. For 2 hours + we listened to them talking and screaming at an excessive volume. What made it worse was the cursing and the often dropping of the "F" bomb. At one moment one of ladies was yapping loudly about her ex-husband and called him a "MotherF______"...unacceptable behavior to scream it out so your bar neighbors hear. Bartenders Ben and Brandon serve great drinks. However they let this behavior continue and worst, it was obvious that this group was heavily drinking. After 2 hours I politely asked this group to chill a little, especially with the F Bombs. They were belligerent to me in response. I went to the owner with my experience...he listened but I dont think he did anything about it. It is the bartenders'(and owner) responsibility to ensure that all patrons are happy but also not boisterous, rude and overserved. Last night, Cafe Tiramisu failed miserably. In a span of 45-50 minutes on a Monday evening, we were visited by our server a mere 3 times, receiving only water, bread, and caprese appetizer. Therefore, we asked for our entree to go. After walking two blocks to home our meal was a nice and warm mushy rice (definitely NOT as I have ever experienced risotto before). I did call and speak to the manager briefly who provided a less than satisfactory response. We will not be returning. Quite a disappointment. read more

Five of us went to Cafe Tiramisu on May 14th, with reservations. We each had something different; everything was great. Chicken marsala! Braised ribs with gnocchi! Scallops on mushroom risotto! Lasagna! Oysters & a Caesar salad! Service - by Bill - was perfect; he was always there when we needed him. Ambiance was homey despite a full house. We never take pics of our food but presentation was luscious. read more

I came here after work one night with friends. This is a little hole in the wall spot, located within a strip mall. I would never have stumbled into this place if it wasn't for my friend, who had been here before, and swore by it. I'm glad I came here. I am from New Jersey and let me tell you, I have high standards for Italian food, coming from there. We started out with the burrata as an appetizer, along with the complimentary bread. The bread was delicious! It came out warm and was paired with salted butter, and pesto with olive oil. The bread had the perfect amount of fluff and crunch. The butter melted into the air pockets of each bread slice; but what made it even better was the pesto and olive oil. That was the perfect touch and made for quite a delectable bite every time. The burrata came out very fast. The plating was nice, and even though I have experienced burrata that was smoother; this was delicious. For my entree I ordered their Pollo Ripeno and I am glad I did.l! The chicken was perfectly cooked but what made the chicken even better was that it was stuffed with Italian sausage and mozzarella. It was paired with homemade spinach linguine (that you could tell was fresh) in a pesto cream sauce. I was only able to finish half the dish. When it was time for dessert, my table ordered the tiramisu. I'll be honest, I've had better tiramisu. The lady fingers weren't dense at all. The texture of the cake was not at all what I would expect tiramisu to be. I was disappointed by it. Lastly, I was also disappointed by the service this visit. Our waiter would infrequently come to our table. I'm rating this experience 4/5 stars because of the food alone. I am dreaming of that entree. read more

The food and atmosphere is amazing, would love for their takeout to be more consistent. Tiramisu has been my favorite restaurant for years. Just went to the new location and although it's a beautiful place to eat, the noise level is terrible. Also there are too many tables and chairs so you can barely move around in there. Hopefully they will figure out something to help with the noise and maybe remove a couple of tables so it doesn't feel so crowded. read more

Lovely Italian spot! The restaurant is small, so be sure to make a reservation. They have dividers in the room for COVID between the bar section and some tables too. The grilled shrimp appetizer is delicious as is the blueberry salad. They also make all their desserts in house, tiramisu, Godiva chocolate cake, cannolis, etc. They also started having seasonal cocktails and specials for the day. We celebrated our 24th anniversary at this long standing Raleigh establishment. First time for us. Hard to believe that this has been in existence for over 20 years! Holy cannoli! Located in a North Ridge strip mall, near Salt & Lime, it's a small, unassuming presence. Glad we decided to make reservations as there are less than a dozen tables and it was packed on this Monday night. The servers and hostess act as a team and I love that. Our drinks were never even close to empty. Kudos to management and staff for smiles, cheerfulness and great service. For starters, I opted for the eggplant Parmesan stack. Perfectly fried with mozzarella and tomatoes, this was a great start! The bread was crusty goodness and the oil and parsley addicting. For my entree, I opted for scallops with risotto in a very savory sauce. Hubby raved over his chicken piccata. My only critique would be the noise level but won't ding the 5 star rating as everything else was perfecto! A nice touch when the hostess greeted us with a happy anniversary. read more

My wife and I decided to try somewhere new for our 24th Anniversary and found this place. It is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in Raleigh. The service was fantastic, my water glass never even got below 1/2 full and Binh our server brought extra bread without even having to ask her, excellent bread too. I had the Chicken Piccata and my wife had the Scallops with risotto and both were excellent and stayed hot the entire meal. We didn't have any drinks but they do have a full bar to choose from. I'm already talking about this place to people at work today and ready to go back again soon. The only bad thing is that it's small, which makes it s bit louder than usual, but that's very small compared to how good the food and service is. I'd recommend this place to everyone that loves Italian food and wants a new place to try. read more

Probably a 3.5 Had Bolognese, was a bit meatier than Im used to, but was very good, my wife had egg plant parm, egg plant was good, pasta over cook-mushy, but overall was good, Calamari was good, slightly under cooked for our taste, but was good, my drink, same as usual Double Crown on the rocks, over priced. Would go back, my wife would be sure to order al dente pasta Bartender was very good, setting was very good, the people working were great read more

Incredibly ambient and romantic little Italian spot tucked in a shopping mall in North Raleigh. When you go in you're immediately transported to an intimate, candlelit ristorante with lovely music playing in the background. The service is superb. The waiters help each other so you don't wait for cocktails (which are delicious), bread, or wine orders. They take time to tell you the daily special (sea bass the night we went) and answer questions. Food is good. It's hard to find amazing Italian in the Raleigh area. This place gets some things right and others less so. The seafood is cooked to perfection (mussels, scallops) and so are the meats (chicken and stuffed pork loin). I also sampled my in-laws risotto which was soft, well flavored and the right mix of savory and fresh. The pastas and sauces were where it fell flat for me. The cream sauce for the mussels and the Alfredo sauce on the fettuccine were just bland. The picatta was subtle but good. Didn't get to try desserts this time as the portions here are generous but they looked wonderful so save some room if you go. I will be back to try their famous tiramisu! read more

Service was great, the vibe was great, but the foods are not. We ordered halibut with linguine and Osso buco (veal), neither of them was satisfying. The halibut was dry, and the veal was also dry. Not juicy or tender at all. The linguine is also not good. I only tried one bite and did not touch again. However, the creamy spinach fettuccine comes with veal was delicious. However, there were some good parts of the foods. The dessert tiramisu was great, and the complimentary bread was really good!! Last but not the least.. I love their cocktails ！ read more

Living in Chicago I was fortunate to spend time in the kitchen of a world class Chef. Learning to prep, cook and present great food, was easy but more importantly, he taught me to delight in how every patron enjoyed their meal. Cafe Tiramisu, our favorite restaurant, shows the same excellence in the food it serves and the service it gives. Celebrated our 19TH wedding anniversary by having dinner here. Was a fantastic choice! We loved the cozy ambiance of the restaurant, as it reminded us of the eateries in Europe. Binh was our server and to say she is fantastic, is an understatement. She truly is a treasure and does an excellent job. The food was fantastic. Husband had the Pollo Rustica and I had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Flavorful and great portion sizes. Appetizers was a cup of lobster bisque, so creamy and tasty. Beef carpaccio, fantastic size and full of flavor. The bread basket...I'm yes please. Bread had crunchy crust but warm and soft on the inside. Could have eaten that for days! Dessert...we had two, tiramisu and rum coconut cake. Great portion of each and tasty without being overly sweet. Can't wait to come back! Also, 15$ and you can bring your own bottle of wine! I'm Italian. Born and raised. While I understand that in the US you don't quite get "authentic" Italian food that easily and it's more comfort fusion, I learned to enjoy the experience. BUT this is one of the farthest from Italian food, in any possible way. I am not trying to be mean but it was just gross. Maybe I'm too picky but I know my Italian food and owned a restaurant in Italy for 20 years. Service was meh. Inside the ambiance looked nice but it smelled like bathroom so we stayed outside. Best thing was the bread. Save the $ and go elsewhere. read more

Cafe Tiramisu is okay, average Italian food and average prices. The service was good, no issues there. Ambiance was better than expected, the entrance is terribly designed and causes constant bottle necks with servers coming and going, and customers coming and going. The entrance isn't big enough for more than one person at a time because of the design. The interior was classy and elegant though. The food could 100% be better, it's average. I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. read more
