Yummy Tomato Basil Soup (Dipper)
Ismary G.

I have never in my lifetime tried such scrumptious grilled cheese like these. I want to go back and try everything in the menu ! The service was fast and amazing. The ambiance was fun and upbeat. I think this place is a gem.

The Queen Brie!

This is an amazing place, it didnt disappoint. My brother talked it so he had to bring me there while I was visiting. Really cool grilled cheese menu, some even had Mac n cheese in them. I got the Queen Brie, bacon& brie on sourdough, raspberry puree for dipping and balsamic drizzle, Holy MOTHER OF YUM. The little "cup" of the beat tomato soup also for dipping purposes. They bring it all to the table, and you will catch yourself eating slow because you dont want it to end, unless you have room for another? We need this around here, totally would go back&Try something else.

Classic and Tomato Basil Soup (Bowl)
Laura S.

Went with the classic and A Night in Amsterdam. Both delish with a nice cheese pull. Comes with a little side of tomato soup perfect for dipping (it's vegetarian) . I should've gotten a bowl of it bc it was very good. Casual little spot for a quick lunch. Highly recommend

Country girl

Rainy day in st Augustine we decided to walk to grab some food to eat while we watched scary movies in our dry hotel room. After reading all the great reviews we decided on grilled cheese gallery because who doesn't love comfort food on a rainy night. I ordered the country girl sandwich with a side of fries. Sadly it was clearly a frozen chicken Pattie thrown in there, and some premade bland Mac & cheese. The tomato soup dipper was also lacking seasoning, and had no taste. Some how the fries were also bland. The best tasting part of the meal was the ketchup. Someone get these people some seasonings. My sister ordered the Amsterdam which is advertised as 4 cheeses however it was just 1 cheese and somehow also had NO FLAVOR. (Not pictured because we forgot before tossing it in the garbage) For the price we paid for these flavorless grilled cheese it's disappointing.

The vegan grilled cheese! Totally delicious, my new favorite st Augustine meal!

Amazing vegan meal, I am so grateful when restaurants have completely vegan options on the menu!!! This grilled cheese has tofu shredded carrots and cucumbers, it was so yummy. Will definitely be back!! Friendly service, fast food. Cute place.

The Mac Daddy

We recently had an awesome Mac and cheese grilled cheese called "The Mac Daddy" at Grilled Cheese Gallery in St. Augustine! It's not everyday that you get to choose from maybe 20+ grilled cheese sandwiches, while listening to classic rock music, in a steampunk inspired restaurant by the beach! Overall the menu looked great, our sandwich was tasty and neatly made, and the service was quick! If you're a fan of cheese, we do recommend!

We got here just as a large amount of customers came through. We are lucky to have gotten a table. By time our food was brought to our table. Half the other tables were open. Bless their fast turnover of food and seats. It is small inside. You order before you sest. The menu has over 40 items on it. You will not be disappointed. I had the Duke. Full of lobster and mac n cheese. It was very filling and favorable. I hope to try the duchess next time. That is a variation of the Duke sandwiche. Everything is kept clean. Moment someone leaves. An employee cleans the table for next person. The lavender lemonade was a nice touch to go with our sandwiches If ever in historic part of St. Augustine. This is a must for lunch.

Omg! SOOOOO good! Best grilled cheese ever! We ate here earlier in the day and came back with the rest of the group for more! Everyone here was so friendly and nice as well.

Such a cool concept but I got two classic ones to see how amazing it would actually be! I was super disappointed because I think you need to get a doctored up one to have flavor. Truly nothing special in my opinion for the classic and the new Amsterdam one. It was very cheesy but had no flavor. I ended up trashing it, but at least I tried it. Prices were a little much but they give a Little Dipper of soup so you can dip your sandwich. The employee was nice and you can tell they were a little frustrated as it was busy. The establishment wasn't the cleanest, nor the restrooms and it was super hot in there! If I try it again, it would be a doctored up one!

GF A Night in Amsterdam with add tomato

Service is amazing, a very good environment as well! Very comfortable and cozy. The food is very good and their gluten free bread is delicious. A must visit when you are in Saint Augustine!

It's pricey but the service is great, definitely the best grilled cheese I've had at a restaurant and they are dog friendly. All pluses

Long story short I would have eaten here every day had I known how delicious it was. On the last day I finally made it here and had the Asian Daddy cowboy with short rib and this tiny dipping sauce reminiscent of Pizza Hut (love) just a flavorful tomato soup dipper. I even heated up the half I had left in the microwave the next day and it was still stupendously delicious. Staff is LOVELY ambiance is chill - 11/10 recommend. Less than 20 bucks a hearty meal and a lavender lemonade A++

The Loaded Steak Melt

Overall a great little lunch! Hubby had the loaded steak grilled cheese and loved it! I had the queen Brie and it was absolutely divine. We really liked the small cozy feel of this place -- it reminded us of restaurants in the Baltimore area which we miss terribly. Service was great especially with such a small staff.

Grilled cheese was delicious but way overpriced in general. Presentation was mediocre. The best deal was the kids grilled cheese.

The sandwiches were very tasty but it took over 30 minutes for our order and it didn't seem incredibly crowded.

Amazing grilled cheese. Especially with that tomato soup... but get it to go. The atmosphere and service could use improvement.

Stopped here for something sweet after spending the afternoon on St. Augustine Beach with my…read morefamily. This was my first visit to Cone Heads, and I had a very enjoyable experience! Cone Heads is located right on A1A Beach Blvd, just a block off of the beach. It is in a standalone building that is inviting with both colorful signage and plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a drive-thru and a private parking lot. When we visited on a Tuesday in July around 5:30 PM, we had no issue getting a parking spot. There were some other customers enjoying some ice cream, but there was relatively no line when we entered the store. The ordering happens inside, and you walk right into the ice cream cabinets and counter. All of the flavors are displayed and can be seen from the order line. Additionally inside, there are some tables to sit and eat at, along with a restroom. They sell a variety of merchandise along with their food and dessert selection. I liked seeing the community cork-board, where there were a variety of different posters and advertisements for events and services around the area. The menu consisted of traditional ice cream items one would expect - cups, cones, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. They also had a Seasonal Special section on the menu, which I assume changes somewhat frequently. This trip, that item was a Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. There are some sundae combinations on the menu, but you can customize your own if you choose. There is hard ice cream, soft serve, and also some hot food options - hot dogs, sausages, and tamales, primarily. For drinks, they had canned soda, bottled, water, and some coffee options. As far as to-go, they had pints and quarts available for the ice cream, along with a freezer full of pre-packaged pints, quarts, and ice cream sandwiches for a grab and go situation. Having never been here before, our group needed some time to look at the menu and flavors before ordering. There were around 30 different flavors of hard ice cream, which included No Sugar Added and Dairy Free varieties, in addition to traditional full dairy varieties. I thought that the flavor selection was a healthy mix of traditional favorites and unique offerings. The staff working were friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the flavors. I even got to try a couple samples before making my decision. After much debate, I landed on trying the Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. This was made to order, and I got to choose the ice cream for the filling. I opted for the Kahula Chip for a coffee and donut flavor combination. I did enjoy this treat! The donut was fresh (and from a local spot), and the ice cream complimented it nicely. I thought the price was also fair for the size and specialty of the dessert, at $5.50 before any tax. My dog was waiting patiently in the car, so we ordered him a Doggie Ice Cream. It was a small boat of vanilla soft serve with peanut butter sauce and a Milk Bone. For my magnet collection, I also purchased one of their logo to take home with me. I personally did not pay the bill, but I thought the pricing here was fair and in line with any other similar type of shop. They took both cash and card. This shop is exactly what you would want out of an ice cream shop on the beach - fun, colorful, and local. They incorporate various other local businesses into their products. The theme of the establishment is appropriate for being a block away from the ocean, and there is a lot of color and fun decor to look at around the building. The staff were all pleasant, the product is tasty, and the price is right. Really enjoyed discovering Cone Heads on this trip, and will make sure to stop by again during my future trips to St. Augustine!

They have more flavors than I can even remember--truly something for everyone, including sugar-free and dairy-free options. The "single scoop" here is absolutely massive; at most other places, it would be considered a large. It is incredibly well-priced (under $6!), so you really get your money's worth. I got the Dairy-Free Coffee Almond Fudge, and it was fantastic! While I wish they had a few more dairy-free flavors to match their massive traditional menu, I love that they don't upcharge for the dairy-free options. That is a huge win in my book. The vibe is exactly what you'd want from a local mom-and-pop shop: kitschy, eclectic, and covered in cows. They even have rocking chairs on the front porch to relax in. The crew is always friendly and helpful, too. Pro-tip: This place is popular for a reason! If you're visiting on a weekend, be prepared to wait a bit. Trust me, though--it is so very worth it.
