Meowza! A friend and I stopped into this St.Aug gem on a random Tuesday night after enjoying some dinner and cocktails. We didn't want to go home just yet so I quickly googled some dessert spots open late. We parked nearby and walked to Peace Pie which was so close to the main square where Nights of Lights is during the holidays (noted). There it was, a bright and colorful storefront situated amongst a group of aromatic formal dining restaurants. It just so happened to be buy-one-get-one night, which is only on Tuesdays! I got the cookies and cream, my friend got the praline flavor and they were both absolutely delicious! I loved how the ice cream had lots of mix-ins and was frozen hard enough to not melt in our hands immediately. They serve the sandwiches in a lined paper wrap so even if things do get melty, it was easy to stay neat. We made a new friend in Stephanie who was (wo)manning the counter that night. It's just okay.... You can't go wrong with ice cream, right? I think it is a cute idea and appreciated the variety of options, and the staff were pleasant. The execution on the other hand, just okay. The ice cream was hard and not really spread well between the two cookies. I got the Peaches and Cream cookie which the flavor of the cookie part was good, but the ice cream lacked in flavor. My husband got the cafe latte which the ice cream flavor was better than mine, but the chocolate cookie on his had seen better days and caution was needed to avoid any unanticipated dental work. The price point is a bit high coming in at $8.00 each. There are better options out there that have better taste, quality and price. Checked it off the try list, but don't think I will be a frequent flyer. read more

This place was highly recommended and we discovered why. These ice cream sandwiches are absolutely delicious. They are large and we were going to share one but we ended up visiting in the evening and they had a happy hour buy one get one free so we of course had to get two. We were full but not disappointed haha! The staff member was super friendly and she pointed out the happy hour which was awesome and I really appreciated. Both flavors we tried were absolutely delicious and unique. It is located along a cute street, but it can be a bit hard to find parking. It is easy if you are walking around town and stop here. A quick drive by is a little more difficult. The shop itself is cute and friendly with a little bit of seating outside. Definitely stop here if you are in the area! read more

Great ice cream fid in St Augustine. Large selection of delicious ice cream cookies. Lots of premade options, both in ice cream flavor and cookie flavors. My wife had the latte ice cream cookie and I had the strawberry ice cream between two chocolate cookies. the servings were large and the ice cream and cookies were delicious. the only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was that our combos were one of their standard selections so they were premade (in house) so the cookies were frozen solid and a bit hard to bite. However this was a minor inconvenience. Please not that the shop is quite small so few spaces to eat inside but there were two large tables outside as well. I love the decor as you come inside. This place only make huge Ice cream pies. That is the only way you can get ice cream. No cones, no bowls. I am diabetic, so I can have small portions of ice cream. I declined having one made for me. I did order a small treat on the side. It really did not taste that good. I made the best of it. The building could use some improvements, it was very difficult to find somewhere to park. As far as the ice cream sandwich, I felt $8 was a little much. The ice cream was just OK. There are better places in Saint Augustine to get ice cream. Overall, good experience, small little place with great ambiance . A lot of paintings on the wall and very colorful. A lot of the flavors were sold out when we went at night so my family got cookies and cream, birthday cake and creamsicle . We have tried a ton of desserts in St Augustine over the years, but this one was one of my absolute favorites. We ate the ice cream sandwich so fast we forgot to take a picture. Triple chocolate brownie was an excellent choice. The portion size was generous for the price, but next time we will both get our own instead of sharing. We loved this spot. Was tucked away from the busy part touristy center, cut and hippy in rainbow colors :) We enjoyed a coconut cream ice cream sandwich while sitting on the red bench with our dogs. We missed out on the shop in Charleston when we were there but made sure we got to the St. Augustine location. We actually skipped dessert at our anniversary dinner to head there instead! At the time, they were still following strict COVID restrictions and not allowing anyone in the store. Thye had a makeshift counter set up at the doorway with a freezer chest filled with Ice Cream Sandwiches. My husband is an avowed Chocoholic and went straight for the Molten Chocolate - Chocolate Shortbread Cookies with Chocolate Ice Cream and Chocolate Mousse. He had RAVE reviews and ate it before we could get a good picture. I broke from my norm, and instead of something like their iconic Pecan Pie or Key lime, I tried the Salted Caramel Brownie. It was two Chocolate Shortbread Cookies with Vanilla Ice Cream, fudgy Brownie Chunks, and rich Salty Caramel. AMAZING! The colorful decor of this place pulled me in. Located on the oldest street in St. Augustine. I felt the creepy vibes on that street. I was craving ice cream and I read good Yelp reviews. We went there later in the evening and there were tables outside on the sidewalk. We got a teenage girl who helped us; she seemed indifferent and unfriendly. I got the rocky road cookie ice cream. It's about a scoop of ice cream in between two cookies. I thought the cookies were stale and the ice cream was extra frozen. I ate about half; it was okay. I think I would've enjoyed the ice cream parlor somewhere else better. It might be the flavor I chose; it was lackluster and blah. Pretty average ice cream experience here. Took some kids to get ice cream sandwiches and it was just ok! Loved that you didn't need to enter and that they're following strict covid guidelines. Most of the shops in this area don't, and we saw so many people without masks, so this was a breath of fresh air! We tried a whole bunch of their flavors, from raspberry to cookies and cream. The kids enjoyed the apple caramel flavor the most! In general, it wasn't too special of an experience. The cookies were the tastiest part, but the ice cream was rather average. Is a negative star an option. We recently walked by this shop during the monthly art walk. We talked about stopping for a treat but wanted to quickly spin into a few more galleries before they close. There was a cute table on the sidewalk, offering art supplies for community use. My high school student (who specifically came to see the local art) was inspired and sat down to use the art supplies at an outside sidewalk table while I looked in the next gallery. Shortly after the owner and a worker became aggressive with my daughter. Telling her to leave immediately, and grabbed a pen out of her hand. She shamed my teen and left us all with a dreadful feeling about the true intent. I went back in to try to understand the concern and the worker was aggressive and demanded we leave. I have never had any situation like this. So we definitely decided NOT to get desert here after all. What a huge downer from a place with "peace" in the name. I was very excited to go here and bring my family here. Come to find out it's Pre made, frozen, freezer burnt basically an ice cream sandwich. That was so frozen you couldn't even bite into it for 5 minutes. Our first time here and the gal taking our order was not helpful at all and didn't really seem happy to be there. When we asked her what were some of the top sellers for flavors. She didn't answer us at all and acted like she didn't hear the question. Then when we started to ask for different menu options we were told they were out of a lot of stuff but didn't even mark them off the menu as out of stock. I was lost for words with all the different flavors but I ended up getting the salted caramel brownie flavor (highly rated amongst the customer base) I will say it was amazing but the caramel did end up like toffee after being in the freezer and almost broke my tooth. 5 stars because the service and ambiance was quirky just remember your dentist would advise you stay away from the Caramel. read more
