They have more flavors than I can even remember--truly something for everyone, including sugar-free and dairy-free options. The "single scoop" here is absolutely massive; at most other places, it would be considered a large. It is incredibly well-priced (under $6!), so you really get your money's worth. I got the Dairy-Free Coffee Almond Fudge, and it was fantastic! While I wish they had a few more dairy-free flavors to match their massive traditional menu, I love that they don't upcharge for the dairy-free options. That is a huge win in my book. Just wow, the ice cream here is great. A very long list of homemade ice creams. 3 of us enjoyes the rich, creamy goodness along with a line of people. I had the Coffee Crunch, whose coffee ice cream tasted like coffee for a change (not some lame watered down flavor). Others had chocolate flavors which really impressed them. I have been a constant patron of this establishment since it opened. There is a huge selection of ice cream and various way to eat the ice cream. There are ice cream cones, ice cream cups, sundaes and milkshakes. I am a taster of all and have enjoyed all! My favorite is the seasonal fun sundaes! For example, for Easter they had a sundae of Purple Haze ice cream, jelly beans, hot fudge, whipped cream and of course, topped off with a peep. It just screams Easter (and it was delicious)! This is my second visit to Cold Cow this week. Tonight I wanted a pint of Butter Pecan ice cream to share with my daughter $7. Hubby got himself a brownie ice cream sundae $5.49. Man, you just can't beat these prices anywhere. We arrived to see a few couples sitting outside enjoying their sweet treats. There was a family inside as well. Just a great atmosphere as you enter. We ordered and the line began to grow rapidly. I said, if there's long lines then it must be good. In reality, both the ice cream and the service is excellent. There is seating inside and out and even with a line inside, it is pretty spacious. Extra treat tonight as they had live music inside. Quite a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. I have gone here twice and I think the ice cream is delicious. The atmosphere is clean and organized but I do have to say the employees don't have the best energy. The first time I went I gave my order to one of the young girls and she just looked miserable. I understand it being late at night and wanting to close but at least have a smile on your face to make the costumers welcomed. The second time I went I still felt unwelcomed. My friend had ordered a milkshake and they gave us a small cup instead. They made us feel responsible for messing up the order when they had to bring us back to the register and figure out the mistake. Hagen Dos, Haggard Dust - Jen & Barry - Batman Robins - whatever - can't hold a candle to Cold Cow! So many flavors - so little time! We were there for the last 10 days - in that time we spent about $150 one (maybe two) scoops at a time! My desire is to eat my way through their entire menu selection, but I get stuck on about 4 or 5 flavors. They have this thing where no matter what size you get, you can mix different flavors. The most I have done is a medium with three. When I say medium it's a little more than you might expect. We always get it to go, so they put it in the pint size container and trust me, it's full - FULL! They are very generous - and very reasonable. Case in point - for some dumb reason, we thought we would give Mayday a shot. We get there - not too busy. I look at the limited selection - the permanent display sample of one and two scoop servings in a dish. One scoop is $5.95 and is exactly that - a scoop. Two scoop is $7.95 a fair deal. I quickly decide to go back to Cold Cow for my usual - probably twice the ice cream for about $2 less! I had Mayday one day downtown before I discovered Cold Cow - it was good. There is a family of 4 behind the other members of our family as I have stepped out of line. The dad immediately starts to complain to his wife about the price as compared to the portion size. My daughter-in-law quietly tells him about Cold Cow - they leave. A couple in our group get a scoop or two. One, my daughter, didn't like it enough to give up her Cold Cow calories. She gives it to her sister. We get to Cold Cow - the family behind us at Mayday is now in front of us. Mayday has maybe 20 flavors, Cold Cow has over one hundred! They list 140, but most times they are out of certain flavors. So what you see online - have a backup, your first choice might not be available. The parents make the kids try something unique - not the plain Jane flavors they usually get. They didn't even offer to buy ours for the suggestion! Well, there was seven of us - that may have mattered. I confessed earlier that I am stuck on a few flavors, but 9 out of 10 times, Graham Central Station is my go-to for the bottom layer. Most times I top that with Coconut Almond Fudge - trust me, it's amazing! I tried the Chocolate Cake last time and it was really good, too. My wife - her favorite is Kahlua Almond Fudge on the bottom layer, then Pirates Plunder on top. The grandsons almost always get Superman - yeah - it's just vanilla and food coloring, but it's their favorite. They did stop giving samples along the time COVID hit and have kept that rule in place. I'm actually OK with - samples really slow down the line. One reviewer said something about paying a king's ransom for a scoop without getting to sample it - could not be further from wrong. You go on and go to Culver's like you stated. Get any flavor you want - as long as it's the "Flavor of the Day". read more

I went to Cold Cow because I wanted to give a local establishment business instead of a chain. Upon entering I got a very strong smell of sour milk which should've been my first cue to leave. It was fairly busy on Friday night. I did read some reviews about the service and I have to say I experienced horrible service. There were about five people working, and the woman that waited on me was, very rude and condescending and needs to take a class oncustomer service. She did apologize because she saw my reaction. I called the store directly and was told they used 2 different delivery companies, I ordered trough DoorDash and my in laws are very happy, delivery was faster than told and it looked delicious.
