Service was fast a friendly. The soft serve is definitely "extra" as it's the creamiest and also densest (not a bad thing) soft serve I've probably ever had. It tasted like serious calories - again not a bad thing - LOL. I will say I don't think the extra cost for waffle cones was worth it.
This is such an adorable spot! I discovered it off of TikTok and decided to stop by while vacationing. The service was great and they were helpful in our decision on what to try! We decided to try one of their specialty sundae's however I forget the name. It was chocolate soft serve with chocolate cake, cherry sauce, marshmallow sauce and chocolate shavings. It was delectable! We absolutely loved our experience!
The food is amazing. The best things about this place is the simplicity of the flavors and toppings. Back to basics. The atmosphere is cozy and very welcoming. The service is incredible. We hit it off immediately with the owner. The staff is patient with answering questions. They give some samples to try of the cones they make. Would definitely recommend to everyone who loves soft serve.
Such a unique twist on soft serve ice cream. Really cute location with an adorable courtyard area and super cute interior also. My mom got the pumpkin spice soft serve and espresso soft serve swirled together. She said it was good but probably not the best pairing. I got the specialty sundae called "The Uptown". Vanilla soft serve, orange olive oil, bee hill honey, sea salt, candied orange slice. Such a unique combination and was so so good. I really think the sea salt brought it all together. Five minute drive from downtown st Augustine historic district. Worth checking out. Would definitely come back next time I'm in St. Augustine.

I got the blueberry and vanilla, blueberry was super flavorful but really sugary. Kind of pricey since you have to pay extra for toppings, but it's a cute little ice cream shop, worth it for the quality :)
I got a strawberry milkshake, and honestly, I was so impressed the moment I walked in--Cookie Bird Ice Cream has so much to offer! They even have gluten-free and dairy-free options that actually look delicious (most places make GF/DF look a little sad, but not here). I had the hardest time deciding between a gluten-free cone, a GF cookie sandwich, or a milkshake... and yes, I went with the milkshake, as you can see . The staff were super friendly and helped guide us through our "craving overload," which made the decision a little easier. And wow--the ice cream? You can tell it's real ice cream, almost handmade. Absolutely delicious. I almost didn't even snap a pic because I wanted to dig in right away! They have a cute little seating area outside and a cozy spot inside too. I'm definitely coming back to try all the gluten-free options next time!

One of my kids got the specialty purple waffle cone and it had a really great floral kinda light hint of purple and now I definitely gotta try the other flavors of cones. I got the banana milkshake and I love the real fresh banana flavor (due to the real banana). Can't wait to go back again!

What a cute shop with unique and delicious flavored waffle cones. My lavender cone with soft serve vanilla ice cream was a rich & creamy treat served with a smile. A also got cookies to go, also delicious with a perfect blend of crisp & chewy. There are a few indoor seats and even more seats on the patio. I look forward to tasting more flavors.
Cookiebird!!!! Oh, how I miss thee!! I HATE ice cream, but I do like soft serve. Cookiebird EASILY has one of my Top 3 dessert experiences of 2026!! The staff was extremely friendly. If you follow me on Insta, you already know how much I adore Kate & Mike and their crew, but I also wanted to state it for the official Yelp record, so that anyone looking for the absolute best ice cream in St Augustine, would be able to find it. Firstly, their parlor is beyond adorable, with some of the absolute cutest wallpaper and a fab retro vibe. It is tiny, with only a few stools at the counter and a wrought iron table for two, but they also have shaded picnic tables outside on the patio. If you drive up and see a line out the door, it's not because they are slow, it's because there's really only room for a handful of people inside, so go ahead and get in line and it'll be your turn before you know it! They only have two ice cream machines, so they always have chocolate/vanilla in one and two rotating flavors in the other. Follow them for updates, because they make everything in micro batches and they do run out of really popular flavors quickly. I can't tell you how many times I've driven down there, because I had my heart set on a specific flavor and ended up with vanilla. Luckily, even vanilla isn't boring at Cookiebird, because they offer so many amazing toppings, plus their homemade waffle cones in all kinds of fun flavors, like matcha or lavender. You can never go wrong with The Uptown sundae, which is their ultra creamy vanilla drizzled with fruity orange olive oil and local honey, a smattering of sea salt and a slice of candied orange. The perfect small treat after having dinner at Llama! I was obsessed with this tiny portion of ice cream. Sometimes you just need a lil snack. Chocolate soft serve with pistachio drizzle, add some chocolate chips, mmmm. The soft serve shop had the cutest ambiance. They had some swag inside for purchase - tee shirts and such, also cute. I also got a cookie here which isn't pictured bc I ate that first. But the cookie was very good! I love a good crisp, mildly soft cookie and it was the best of both worlds. Crispy cookie to go with the soft serve ice cream - it hit the spot. Not long after arriving, a line out the front door started to form. You can tell it's a genuine family friendly spot. Everyone working behind the counter was incredibly sweet, and so were the patrons waiting for their ice cream. Not knowing this was soft serve & going off the name only, I did walk in thinking this would be more of a traditional ice cream bar with lots of flavors of regular ice cream. There is chocolate, vanilla, and a specialty flavor. I like soft serve too so, this wasn't a bad surprise one bit. After you order one of the three flavors, you have the option to add two different styles of toppings. Either a sauce, or various dry toppings. The pistachio drizzle mixed with chocolate was heavenly. You can tell the quality is there. Since I over ate at dinner, I Really liked the option of ordering I micro sized cone. I got worried that size may only be for kids so I was really happy it's an all age friendly size. I noticed you can also order flights of ice cream cones here! How fun! I thought I knew exactly what I was getting (chocolate soft serve in a gluten free cone with peanut butter sauce and chocolate curls) BUT the flavors of the week were black cherry and espresso. Quick change of plans-espresso & chocolate milkshake with a shot of espresso & whip cream!!! YUM! My friend got the ice cream flight of 3 baby bird cones: vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, chocolate with praline pecans & black cherry with chocolate curls the black cherry was her favorite.
