Near our beach house. Clean and bright inside. Tons of flavors. Kids got kid size scoops ($5) in cups, filled. Adults got "regular" scoops($6) in cones. Quite a difference between the two sizes. Oddly the kids scoops got significantly more than the more expensive regular size. My "one scoop" of Superman in a cake cone looked like it had been hit by kryptonite. Wasn't close to being round, basically a few shavings piled shakily on top of the cone. It was gone in instants. Meanwhile my kids couldn't finish their cups. Not trying to be picky but $6 for one scoop of ice cream is a bit steep so I expected at least a round shape on top of the cone. Taste wise everything was good, hard to mess up ice cream. read more

Patrick served a regular coffee w/milk within minutes of ordering. VERY strong coffee; I recommend asking for 1/3 coffee + 1/3 water + 1/3 milk & LOTS of honey (or sugar), unless you want a straight-up, RockStar brew w/lots of gusto packed into one cup... think 'Truck Stop' coffee... & under $3, too!! Me? I will be ordering their 'Affogato' (espresso w/1scoop ice cream) next time. The freezers are well stocked with LOTS of #IceCream choices with #WaffleCones to cool off in the afternoons. Patrick manages the store for his Pops, John; super nice, friendly guy, made the coffee taste better. (Note to self: When offered a sweetener, TAKE IT!! ) Easily accessed off the A1A, across from #BeverlyBeach, with 2 designated parking spots available, bc summer hasn't quite hit; it's still early in the season. read more

I heard this shop had great coconut ice cream so I had to go try it. I ordered a small and it was a good size. It was bigger than my posted picture as I had already eaten some. They had a lot of flavors but I didn't look carefully because I was all in for the coconut. My husband enjoyed the spumoni. Both employees there were super friendly and they were eager to help and make suggestions. The shop had seating inside and outside and we were able to watch the customers get greeted and served quickly. Most interesting thing was the female employee checked in to see how we liked it. That has never happened to me in an ice cream shop. read more

After enjoying Crescent Beach we decided to stop over for some ice cream, and weren't disappointed! They have a nice selection of ordinary and some not so ordinary flavors to choose from. Service was top notch and we were encouraged to sample anything we wanted. Portions are large -- I had to tell her to stop adding ice cream to my cup to avoid over indulging! I had my first affogata and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The espresso was nice and strong but contrasted nicely with the sweetness and richness of the ice cream. I suspect it will be hard to beat this one, but after eating it I am hooked and am looking forward to my next! We will definitely come back here the next time we're at this beach. read more

Because what's better than ice cream and coffee? Island Ice Cream Cafe is a small business in Crescent Beach. When I spent the weekend in the area last month, we not only came here for ice cream on Saturday, but again on Sunday for coffee! The versatility is palpable. The place has character as soon as you walk in. Brightly painted walls and around 20 seats. Thinking back, I honestly can't remember the flavor I dove into, but it was astounding in said moment! Maybe Salted Caramel? Geez Matt, you're getting old... You know how much I support locally roasted coffee, so seeing none other than Bold Bean on the menu won me over completely. The owner told us how the upper management team from BB trained them thoroughly. Totally recommend when in the neighborhood, especially after a classic Florida beach day! read more

Such a cute little ice cream shop. The employee was so great and very helpful. She recommended excellent flavors followed by a generous sample! There were tons of great flavors and a few non dairy options. I chose cookie dough and pecan praline and my boyfriend got the gator tracks and fishhawh. The portion size was much larger than I was expecting, no complaints here! Make sure you double check on their open hours before you go. There was a sign in the window that noted March hours being different than the hours posted online. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely have to stop by again. And hopefully get a good picture before digging in! read more

Quaint ice cream shop & cafe. Just opened last week. The owner & staff are very sweet (that's good for an ice cream shop)! Their shop is right on A1A & there's nothing like it in Crescent Beach. Btw - if you haven't been to Crescent Beach - it's worth the drive! Walking into the shop is like taking a step into the Caribbean. There is a beautiful mural that covers the length of the wall. It was done by a local artist & really fits the location. They are currently offering 36 flavors & coffees from Bold Bean! read more

There was a large selection of traditional and unique flavors (I'd compare some of the selections to those offered by Mayfield). The service was great.
