Probably the pick of ice cream options in historical district of st augustime. We tried 4 different flavors. Each of them was very nice. Liked the brownie batter.

The birthday girl had black cherry - A hand holds a waffle cone with two scoops of ice cream, one with blueberries, inside an ice cream shop with customers in the background.

After lunch, I wanted to treat my sister in law to ice cream because it was her birthday. I got on Yelp and thought I would try this new spot. We waited roughly 10 minutes to be served. There was one person working on a Thursday afternoon of Easter weekend. But it was worth the wait. They offered 40 flavors as well as coffee. I tried salted caramel truffle and road runner rasberry. It was hard because they were both good! But I went with the rasberry. I ordered my ice cream in a cup. It was creamy and refreshing as it was a hot day. My sister in law ordered black cherry in a cone, and she liked her flavor as well. We sat inside as there are a few tables and a small couch. I believe there was also some outdoor seating. It was nestled back off the street a little. But there was a sign on the sidewalk, so it was easy to find. Stop in and give them a try!

What a little gem we stumbled upon! And the ice cream!!!! It was absolutely delicious. Best I've had in a long time. I had the banana pudding and my husband had the cappuccino crunch. I can't say enough about kind owner and her patience for my 3 little ones under 4years old. They can be a lot but she made them feel right at home. Love the array of coffee drinks as well. What a great amount of choices for all beverages she has. We can't wait to go back!

Conveniently located, awesome service. Good prices, and yummy ice cream. Inside is cute and welcoming, gives a happy Los Angeles feel. There was no line when I came in, but after ordering the place sure filled up pretty quickly. Good place to give a try.

After eating dinner at the seafood restaurant, my friend and I wanted dessert. There were many places to go, but he pulled up this location in his phone and we decided to check it out. They have so many flavors of ice cream here and it all looks locally owned as well. I am a sherbert kind of guy, so I was happy to find this flavor there. I also found what I called an Orange Creamsicle, which is a mix or orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream. I got a scoop of each in a waffle cone. Rainbow Sherbert: Can never go wrong with this flavor. My go to and I love the taste they had. It was not too sweet nor too tart. It was also smooth and creamy for a sherbert as well. I really enjoyed this flavor. Orange Creamsicle: I forgot the proper name they gave it, but this is how I remember it. The orange sherbert tartness paired well with the subtle and creamy flavor of the vanilla. This was a nice combo. Overall, one of the better ice cream parlors I have e ever been to. I would come back 100% here to try more flavors.

Ice cream was calling and we decided to stop in to take a break from touring before we hit the San Marcos fort monument. The ice cream shop is right across the street and you won't feel guilty about the extra calories walking it all off afterwards. Beware of the names since all of them were really intriguing to get ;) My kids got the cotton candy and the lil' blue panda ice cream while my husband got the banana milkshake. I didn't get anything since I finished off the three of theirs :D I don't got a favorite since they were delicious and the perfect afternoon treat. The friendly service was easy and quick. There are a couple small tables inside that you can sit and eat at. Whether it's rainy, hot, or maybe even cold, the ice cream never disappoints.

This is such a lovely place to just stop for some ice cream and a good cup of coffee. Very cozy, I almost forgot I was at an ice cream shop with how comfortable I was. Stopping here every time I find myself in St. Augustine!

Espresso Milkshake with Chocolate Brownie Batter and Whipped Cream on top - amazing!!! Split with a friend and it was a perfect pick me up! - A person holds a chocolate milkshake with whipped cream and chocolate pieces in a clear cup outdoors, with a parking lot, trees, and blue sky in the background.

Stopped here for something sweet after spending the afternoon on St. Augustine Beach with my…read morefamily. This was my first visit to Cone Heads, and I had a very enjoyable experience! Cone Heads is located right on A1A Beach Blvd, just a block off of the beach. It is in a standalone building that is inviting with both colorful signage and plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a drive-thru and a private parking lot. When we visited on a Tuesday in July around 5:30 PM, we had no issue getting a parking spot. There were some other customers enjoying some ice cream, but there was relatively no line when we entered the store. The ordering happens inside, and you walk right into the ice cream cabinets and counter. All of the flavors are displayed and can be seen from the order line. Additionally inside, there are some tables to sit and eat at, along with a restroom. They sell a variety of merchandise along with their food and dessert selection. I liked seeing the community cork-board, where there were a variety of different posters and advertisements for events and services around the area. The menu consisted of traditional ice cream items one would expect - cups, cones, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. They also had a Seasonal Special section on the menu, which I assume changes somewhat frequently. This trip, that item was a Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. There are some sundae combinations on the menu, but you can customize your own if you choose. There is hard ice cream, soft serve, and also some hot food options - hot dogs, sausages, and tamales, primarily. For drinks, they had canned soda, bottled, water, and some coffee options. As far as to-go, they had pints and quarts available for the ice cream, along with a freezer full of pre-packaged pints, quarts, and ice cream sandwiches for a grab and go situation. Having never been here before, our group needed some time to look at the menu and flavors before ordering. There were around 30 different flavors of hard ice cream, which included No Sugar Added and Dairy Free varieties, in addition to traditional full dairy varieties. I thought that the flavor selection was a healthy mix of traditional favorites and unique offerings. The staff working were friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the flavors. I even got to try a couple samples before making my decision. After much debate, I landed on trying the Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. This was made to order, and I got to choose the ice cream for the filling. I opted for the Kahula Chip for a coffee and donut flavor combination. I did enjoy this treat! The donut was fresh (and from a local spot), and the ice cream complimented it nicely. I thought the price was also fair for the size and specialty of the dessert, at $5.50 before any tax. My dog was waiting patiently in the car, so we ordered him a Doggie Ice Cream. It was a small boat of vanilla soft serve with peanut butter sauce and a Milk Bone. For my magnet collection, I also purchased one of their logo to take home with me. I personally did not pay the bill, but I thought the pricing here was fair and in line with any other similar type of shop. They took both cash and card. This shop is exactly what you would want out of an ice cream shop on the beach - fun, colorful, and local. They incorporate various other local businesses into their products. The theme of the establishment is appropriate for being a block away from the ocean, and there is a lot of color and fun decor to look at around the building. The staff were all pleasant, the product is tasty, and the price is right. Really enjoyed discovering Cone Heads on this trip, and will make sure to stop by again during my future trips to St. Augustine!

They have more flavors than I can even remember--truly something for everyone, including sugar-free and dairy-free options. The "single scoop" here is absolutely massive; at most other places, it would be considered a large. It is incredibly well-priced (under $6!), so you really get your money's worth. I got the Dairy-Free Coffee Almond Fudge, and it was fantastic! While I wish they had a few more dairy-free flavors to match their massive traditional menu, I love that they don't upcharge for the dairy-free options. That is a huge win in my book. The vibe is exactly what you'd want from a local mom-and-pop shop: kitschy, eclectic, and covered in cows. They even have rocking chairs on the front porch to relax in. The crew is always friendly and helpful, too. Pro-tip: This place is popular for a reason! If you're visiting on a weekend, be prepared to wait a bit. Trust me, though--it is so very worth it.
