I got an iced Americano with mocha; the water-to-coffee ratio was perfect. For a snack, I got a blueberry muffin, which was baked to perfection with chunks of blueberries and crystalized sugar on top - heaven, one crossiant to split, which we ended up getting another because it was buttered perfection, and a scoop of the recommended ice cream.. which I couldnt tell you the name, but it was a mix with toffee and it was heavenly. I needed some coffee while I was waiting for a table at a restaurant down the street. Since we had an hour wait my dad and I decided to walk around and find coffee. We stumbled upon this little shop. It was around Christmas so there were lines everywhere and this shop was no exception. The first thing I noticed is they were out of lids, straws, and may flavorings for their coffee. I ended up ordering a iced vanilla latte with oat milk. It was almost $8 for a 16 oz cup. The coffee was okay, nothing special. Definitely not worth $8. Wow this place has a lot going for it, but it sadly wasn't the experience it could have been. The lady working was pretty nice and seemed like she cared about what she was serving up. (I will say I heard the owner or manager getting onto her for something and heard some curse words exchanged, but maybe it was warranted, who knows) The drinks: We ordered a snickers cappuccino and an iced coffee. The snickers cappuccino was probably 50% foam which really disappointed me, and the drink itself tasted very lackluster if i'm being frank. The iced coffee was good however, and it was a decent size. The atmosphere: Its in a small garden which is pretty neat, but that can be great or terrible depending on how hot it is out, and if you wanted to sip on your drinks inside. On a trip to St. Augustine, we stopped by Crucial Coffee Cafe after some sightseeing. The best way to describe Crucial Coffee is that it's a shack. A shack with character. It's definitely a grab-and-go type spot because it's really small. There was quite a line when we visited on a weekday. The reason for the long line? Only one person was working and he was moving at a snail's pace. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there and he was taking his sweet time with every order. I ended up getting a smoothie. You get to make your own smoothie by picking out two fruits but they were out of several of the menu items listed. The most common bubble tea is the milk and black tea bubble tea, but they don't have it. It's almost like a coffee shop that serves frappuccino but not drip coffee .
