I stopped at Sprout Kitchen this morning for a green smoothie (added mango), The Works bagel, and a chickpea salad from their grab‑and‑go fridge. Tatum was so kind and on top of my to‑go order! She greeted me right away, and when I told her I had a to‑go order, she knew exactly what it was without any confusion, which made the whole pickup feel really easy and calm. The green smoothie was fresh, The Works bagel was loaded and REALLY satisfying (and perfectly filling), and the chickpea salad from the fridge case made an easy, healthy meal for later. It's the kind of 'healthy hippie' spot I look for on trips, and I'd definitely stop here again!! I don't know how many times I said "oh wow, that's so good!!" even though I was eating by myself. So happy to have found this place. Can't rave enough about it, The food is absolutely delicious!The combinations of flavors and textures in the bagel sandwiches (we had "the Works" and the "carrot lox" ) were so so good. The kale Ceasor salad was very good and filling, The green plant protein smoothie was so delicious and satisfying. The superfood cookie was so so good, I bought another. The brain boost latte was also delicious and satisfying, the bottled watermelon drink was refreshing. The service was quick for all she had to do to make all the combinations of fresh things and the girl helping us was so friendly and kind. I would wear a sandwich board sign on the corner to advertise for them...there's so much more to try...please check them out! Charming little vegan eatery off the beaten path in the touristy district of St. Aug. Had the carrot lox bagel as a light healthy lunch before a show. Exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed a non-caffeine latte with warming spices for my tummy, and an almond cookie, which also felt like a powerhouse of superfoods. Yum, yum, yum! Everything was fresh and tasty! Space was clean and minimal and service was friendly. Menu was more extensive than expected including to go food and juice options in external fridge. Had more than juice and smoothies if you have more of an appetite. I highly recommend the sprouted wheat bagel with faux lox and cashew cream cheese. All the right elements- capers, dill, cashew cream cheese, red onion and marinated carrot "lox." Delicious, would eat every day! I also got the strawberry mylkshake- thick, not too sweet and light. My vegan caesar included crispy chickpeas and a dressing based on dulse, a type of seaweed with a distinctive flavor very appropriate for a caesar. My wife and I spent our anniversary in St Augustine this past week and both being vegan, we found it somewhat hard to find good quality spots to dine at while here. To say that The Sprout Kitchen is an excellent restaurant is an understatement! Vegan or non vegan, I must say, and I do not say this lightly- I happened to order "The Works" and it is by far and quite possibly, the best thing I have ever eaten. It might be hard to imagine, yes...even I was in disbelief. Coming from Los Angeles, there is a plethora of above and beyond vegan restaurants, but this thing here called "The Works" is again, quite possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten. The taste and flavors are out of this world, something so simple it works on ALL levels and is VERY filling! I do not say any of this lightly, and I do truly mean every word here...if you go here, you have to try The Works! Perhaps I am still in disbelief about how good this bagel was, as I for one have never even been a fan of bagels. But this- it was truly exquisite. The girl working the day I went- I wish I could remember her name as she was so kind and helpful, just added to the experience. Although seating is limited, there are plenty of other places along the street where you can sit and enjoy the amazing smoothies. I was initially looking for something with a lot of protein but then I decided that I wanted to try one of their most popular which is just the green smoothie. One of the time employees suggested that I add spirulina and the green smoothie is so good that it doesn't taste like you're chomping down on seaweed or algae. Face masks are required and there is hand sanitizer as well. Prices are just a tad higher than what I'm used to but the ingredients are totally worth it. read more

They serve juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, and have some ready-made food items. I ordered a Berry Hemp Shake because I wanted something cool and refreshing. It's made with high-quality ingredients, and even the cashew milk in it is homemade so you know there aren't any preservatives. It had a light taste. The straw that I was given was also made of paper. After speaking a bit with the staff there, I learned that they definitely use high-end equipment to make the best juices and smoothies, especially when it came to quality and nutrition. With the added touches, such as a compostable cup, paper straw, homemade ingredients, you can tell that they care about being eco-friendly and health-conscious. I visited Sprout Kitchen interested in their cold press juice. I was happy to find out that they do actually cold press on a Norwalk juicer as oppose to many juiceries that say they cold press but do not actually do so. I was able to meet the owner who was a beautiful soul with a ton of passion for her restaurant. I ordered an iced matcha tea which was absolutely delicious and I purchased three delicious cold pressed juices. What I liked about the juice is that they are very low on sugar content (most ingredients are veggies instead of fruits). I wanted to try a juice cleanse but I didn't have enough time before leaving town. I do plan on ordering a cleanse the next time I'm in St. Augustine. read more

Loved this plant based entirely vegan restaurant we visited on our last trip to Saint Augustine. Much more then a juice bar, had great avocado toast and soup here, several yummy healthy snacks and a variety of grab and go entree's we picked up every day before we headed to the beach. Delicious and organic food. Safe to eat and no worries or concerns with pesticides or toxins. Loved the option for delicious food while visiting. However, I am unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons, and even when I called in advance and asked if I could be accommodated with my exemption for a to-go order, they seemed hesitant, and recommended I order over the phone and just go in to pick it up.
