We stopped at Odd Birds Cafe next to the Marina/Yacht Club, in St Augustine,as we were leaving our boat tour. Anyway, we like local places and thought we would eat our lunch there. Rosmilys assisted us. She was AMAZING! She assisted us with choosing our food, drinks, and gave us info about the place. She quickly put our order in. The food was wonderful!! I had beef empanadas. The best I have ever had. They looked great and tasted even better than they looked. Which is difficult to do since they looked so good. Mark ordered a Cuban sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed. While ordering I had also ordered a peach/creamy muffin. It was exceptional. Mark had ordered a cranberry muffin. I have to admit my muffin looked so good, and was so warm, we devoured it before our meals came. The Cafe itself, was quaint, and fun. The staff were right on top of everything. Rosmilys even made the muffins from scratch herself.

This is the kind of place I imagined for our trip to St. Augustine. A friendly Mom and Pop type restaurant with personality and great food. I had the Cafe con leche and a Breakfast Cuban sandwich, they were both delicious. I love the family vibe in this Cafe. I'm sure we will stop in again on our next visit.

Found this cafe for brunch on our 1st day in St Augustine. We walked in, there is only 1 table of people there. The space is not big, just few tables. You will need to order food at the counter, pay, then the staff will bring it to you. But they only use one time use utensils. Guess they are lack of manpower

Disappointing experience. The guy at the cashier was a bit rude. The Quesadilla was okay. Needed more seasoning & spice, but the worst was the Chia Coconut pudding. It was so bad I had to throw it out and it was expensive. I wish I could have taken it back but they were closed. For the rest of the day into the night my stomach was upset. Won't be going back to this place.

This is a quick breakfast service with plenty of delicious options! I had the French toast with blueberries and a pastelito and it was so yummy! It was comforting and so was the cafe con leche. There's plenty of seating and parking as well! Would come back again

They seemed to be short staffed, so I will give this place another try. The bathrooms were disgusting, and I think bathrooms tell a lot about a place. Iced coffee was made wrong.... Waaayy too much cream I couldn't even taste the coffee. Grit bowl was decent, nothing special. Has potential!

    Criollo Breakfast

Mad at myself for not coming here sooner! Had a cold Coquito that was great...wound up getting a hot one too because it was so good! The Criollo Breakfast was delicious and I would get it again. Friendly service and nice (but small) inside. Only "complaint" is my black beans weren't as warm as I would like them.

1, 2, 3 let's go... Sunday vibes in Camachee Cove island, a hidden gem located at the base of the Vilano Bridge and yacht club. Headed to @oddbirdscafe post boat ride for delicious food, fun vibe, and amazing service. Hands down, one of the best cafes in St. Augustine. For the coffee aficionado in you, Odd Birds is a must experience! We had the Chai latte and Hazelnut coffee with oat milk to start From the menu we had Criollo Argentinian Breakfast and Burrito Bowl loaded with Rice, Black Beans, Sweet Plantain, Pico De Gallo, Avocado, and a side of Arepa! Don't miss it, perfect spot for all your breakfast and lunch needs.  Open 7 days a week from 8am til 3pm 121 Yacht Club Dr, St. Augustine, FL 32084

Wow. A hole in the wall. Defitnely a place to get Spanish inspired menu and they served breakfast and lunch anytime Seating area is small and there might be wait for order and get the food. Service is great. Water is self served. Ordered the pork boulangerie on a multigrain ( they ran out of croissant ) And the corn pancake Coffee is ok - got the cafe con leche which is just ok nothing special.

Then they take guests into small rooms in groups of about 10 people. In our room, we had three five-month-old capybaras. Our host gave us kale, and the capybaras came right up to eat out of our hands. That's also when you can pet them. The capybaras were named after beans, and Pinto was our favorite. Pinto even rolled over for my boyfriend and clearly loved the belly rubs. Later, he jumped up on the bench behind us and just hung out for a few minutes. While we fed and petted them, the host explained how he acquired them and how to care for them. These capybaras belong to a sanctuary and were rescued. It was a glorious 30 minutes, and my boyfriend, who is from the capital of wild capybaras, got to touch his first one. His home city literally has them all around town.

Encounters are $50 for 30 minutes or $100 for an hour. Interactions start with guests sitting around in a circle. Animal care specialists then give brief introductions while distributing kale and lettuce leaves. Capybaras are native to South America. They stand about 2 feet tall and weigh anywhere from 75 - 150 pounds. Capybaras are herbivores with high-fiber diets of hay, fresh produce and abundances of Vitamin C. Capybaras are highly social and will gladly climb on your lap and eat out of your hands. Animal care specialists are generous with passing out a variety of greens so everyone has opportunities for special moments with the capybaras. And, these care specialists will voluntarily record each group's feeding experiences. Overall, Capybara Cafe is a one of a kind encounter with an animal that goes largely unnoticed, but whom can bring joy to people's hearts.

It was smooth, cozy, and somehow tasted like a hug but also woke me up like I had responsibilities. This was much needed after we landed from cold Chicago, like "hey girl"! Perfect balance of flavor and caffeine, not overly sweet, and actually tasted like real coffee (which is rare these days). If you're in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and stop here, you'll leave caffeinated, happy, and maybe a little motivated as well!

Not only did I find delicious coffee and beautiful local art - which is what you'd expect and hope to find given the name - but fresh, homemade breakfast/lunch options and some of the most genuine, sweet people who remember their regulars and truly appreciate customer loyalty, which is far too rare in the service industry these days. In 3 years, I've had only great food and coffee here, but it's the warm, thoughtful, human element that has kept me coming back and will keep me coming for years to come. Thank you, Mike and the Sweetwater crew! *A note for my fellow wheeled peops: It's small, depending on the type of chair you have, and may require deft maneuvering but there is an accessible entrance in the back between Chase bank and the Villa Zorayda museum.
