I've been in Florida for a week now and every time I see a guava and cheese pastry I have to get it. The one I had at the Odd Birds Cafe was by far my favorite. It had just the right amount of filling with the perfect balance of cheese and guava. We also had an arepa plus the rice & beans bowl. They were both soooooo good. Easy access, plenty parking, outside open seating. Breakfast Cuban was very good cheese was melty and eggs were perfect (might add pickles next time). Bacon Egg Cheese had overcooked eggs. I woke up craving a bacon, egg and cheese croissant, and thankfully, when I searched online this little spot which was really close to where we were staying, came up and they offered one. The croissant did not disappoint. It was very warm and delicious and satisfied my craving. We also enjoyed some different lattes from their menu, which were yummy and energizing. There's plenty of room for inside seating and there's a nice vibe if that's what you're looking for and there's also some outdoor seating as well. If it's nice outside, I would recommend that. Nice and eclectic! We spent some time here at New Year's and the drink menu is definitely unique. After a quite heavy dinner we were in for some Amaro and the bartender showed us his array. Quite impressive. Next time we're in town we will be spending more time here as there is a nice menu available. Very promising and a place that's very much at home in Saint Augustine. read more

So we walked in at 9:50 am and didn't get our food until 10:40 am. Several people who came in after us got their food before us. The staff didn't seem too concerned after three attempts to get them to understand our ticket must have been misplaced. The only redeeming thing was the food which was very good. We stopped at Odd Birds Cafe next to the Marina/Yacht Club, in St Augustine,as we were leaving our boat tour. Anyway, we like local places and thought we would eat our lunch there. Rosmilys assisted us. She was AMAZING! She assisted us with choosing our food, drinks, and gave us info about the place. She quickly put our order in. The food was wonderful!! I had beef empanadas. The best I have ever had. They looked great and tasted even better than they looked. Which is difficult to do since they looked so good. Mark ordered a Cuban sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed. While ordering I had also ordered a peach/creamy muffin. It was exceptional. Mark had ordered a cranberry muffin. This is the kind of place I imagined for our trip to St. Augustine. A friendly Mom and Pop type restaurant with personality and great food. Found this cafe for brunch on our 1st day in St Augustine. We walked in, there is only 1 table of people there. The space is not big, just few tables. You will need to order food at the counter, pay, then the staff will bring it to you. But they only use one time use utensils. Guess they are lack of manpower read more

We were staying close by when I found this gem. Waking up and needing coffee- I looked up the closest place and this was in walking distance. Bonus! Cute more intimate space and Very friendly staff when I entered. I had only wanted coffee when I arrived but I had a moment to look over the menu and was intrigued. Disappointing experience. The guy at the cashier was a bit rude. The Quesadilla was okay. Needed more seasoning & spice, but the worst was the Chia Coconut pudding. It was so bad I had to throw it out and it was expensive. I wish I could have taken it back but they were closed. For the rest of the day into the night my stomach was upset. The coquito latte was great with an extra shot. The arepa was crunchy and filled with shredded chicken that had great flavor. We visited this Cafe because of its reviews on Tik Tok. The vibe is cute and fun. The drinks- martini - had ice chips and no olives and wasn't that cold even with ice chips lol. I had the Cuban sandwich. It was mediocre and should have been hearty. A puppy ran into the restaurant which distracted our waitress. She put our drinks down on a random table.
