I enjoyed my first visit to this cozy little breakfast spot on the outskirts of St Augustine. Visited on a Wednesday morning and didn't have to wait for sharing or to order. I suspect this is not the case on weekends. The server was very kind and helpful and the meal I chose, "Shrimp and Grits" hit the spot. The french toast breakfast $14 and the pancake breakfast $15 our total was $41.54 not terrible, but for portion size and quality not matching. Coffee was superb no quams on $4 for french press. French toast was good but two slices were a slim picking. Bacon tasted cheap, potatoes had potential but they were cold. Syrup was the individual smuckers worst ever would have been great to have pure maple syrup to accompany my grassfed butter. Service was slow food took a while to come out. Our waitress was nice. The hollandaise sauce was gourmet with a smooth, balanced lemon buttery taste. A glass of OJ comes straight from the fruit and you can watch the automated juice squeezer at work.
