This review is for the pharmacy inside of the store. Every time I have had to fill a prescription the service has been exceptional. The pharmacist and employees that work there are quick and efficient. They always try to give you the best price too. Your prescription is usually filled the same day you bring it in. You can also use your Winn Dixie card to get your points. Covid vaccines are available by appointment. read more

Buyer beware! This review is for the US-1 south new location. They haven't updated there location as yet. The weekend Ad had Boston Butts on sale for .99 lb. Meat manager told me they got in 8. Not enough by a long shot. John the manager refused to give a rain check. The Ad doesn't specify while supplies last. We will see if their district manager Jason or the regional mgr. Shaun correct this. If not stay away and go to Publix. read more

Honestly...how can I not rate this a 5? It's a grocery store where the people are always friendly, never crowded, always have what I need, I get in and out in no time. There is always ample parking and it's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The ease of a place speaks in volumes to me. Some people have an issue with the prices. Honestly, where you save in one you spend in another and it all evens out. There are definitely some things I like more at Winn-Dixie and some things I like more at Publix...mox nix. But I gotta tell ya...Winn-Dixie has these limited flavor chips right now that are wonderful...apply to the thigh good! They come in 3 flavors...Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Sriracha, & Hot Dog. All 3 are absolutely YUM!!! My favorite is the Sriracha and my son's is the Hot Dog. You need to stop by and try these. 5oz. bag for $1! Can't beat it! read more

Well this Winn-Dixie store was right down the street from my hotel about a mile, and if I lived here I think I'd be going to the store a whole lot. Clean, yes I'd call it very clean. Produce, very attractive. Selection , it looked excellent on every aisle. So I picked up a couple items I needed or at least I wanted, I don't think I really needed anything. And went to the checkout. The checkout people were very friendly very polite and extremely engaging which to me shows they enjoy their job, and really care about their customers. I've always been a Publix guy while shopping for groceries here in Florida. Their prices, service, and stores just always were better than my experiences in any Winn-Dixie. This Winn-Dixie is a GREAT store, and is in a great location for those living in North St. Augustine. The store looks like it has just been remodeled, as I know it's been in this location for YEARS, but it looks new. It's clean, well-stocked, and well laid-out. The deli area is impressive, as is the butcher's area. They also have a very nice selection of beer and wine, and the fresh fruit area is clean and fully stocked with fresh fruits. The prices are a bit more than you'll find at Publix, and although they don't offer as many big deals, you can find some nice bargains at many WD stores. Cashiers and service members were friendly and helpful, and I left generally impressed. I don't think it's swayed me away from shopping at the Green P, but I have no qualms about stopping in here. Clean, well-stocked, friendly employees, and decent prices make this a first rate grocery store, and I would recommend it for any living (or vacationing and staying in a hotel) in this particular area. read more

Good prices and deals-- PHARMACY staff are literally some of the rudest and most incompetent people I've ever met in my life!! I only come here because I live right next door but after 9 months of giving them a chance I will be transferring all meds back to Publix. I have to call to babysit them literally every time I need a medication - usually several times before it's done right. If you can even get them to answer the phone to begin with.... They will say they have no medication request from the Dr when they didn't even check the voicemail phone line for HOURS. They'll say it'll be ready and 5 hours later after calling to confirm, it's not (doctor called in the medicine 2 weeks prior and it was never filled!) and then they're rude about it all as if it's the customers fault that they aren't doing their job. One of them literally bullied me out of using my GoodRX coupon to save $8 and told me that the consumer & GoodRX is putting pharmacists out of business with those and told me I should vote when I insisted the drug companies rip us off with outrageous prices in response to his remarks about me trying to use a GoodRX coupon. When I say they're RUDE & INCOMPETENT -- it's next level!! Go somewhere else, anywhere else!! PHARM: My dogs cancer and anti-seizure medicine comes from here-- DO YOUR JOB! ITS IMPORTANT!! GOSH NO! This was actually the first time I have tried to shop at a Winn-Dixie and that won't happen again. First of all the store was just old and not very inviting. Most of the produce was dead and scary so I was not able to stock up on fruits or vegetables. I only purchased a few bananas and luckily, they were actually good. I waited at the check-out while my husband grabbed a few items, salads, grapefruit and peanuts in the shell. Although the peanuts had a current date, they were not fresh at all and contained way too much salt so they were thrown out. The salads were seriously anemic and appeared to be prepared for three year olds, (portion size, miniature fork). The blue cheese dressing was heavy, and very processed so it was thrown out in favor of our own balsamic vinegar and olive oil. When I asked about organic products, I was shown a bag of gluten free potato chips. Needless to say, this store is not a good option if you are looking for quality, fresh food. ***If you need some Frosted Flakes or gummy worms, you are probably good to go! read more

Always check your receipt at this Winn Dixie. This isn't the first time I've been subjected to misleading bogos and bait and switch tactics. Today it was bogo community coffee. The bogo signs were under all the blends, but when they didn't ring up that way the clerk..then manager...told me it was only for the house blend and not the dark blend. Not according to the signs on the shelves, which were under all the boxes, and the mailer. Also, I bought 2 smart waters. One was $1.00 and the other was $1.79. Publix May be more expensive, but they don't try to cheat you. read more

This store has me highly disappointed. The bathrooms are nasty. When I used the bathroom while here, it had a nasty sewer smell coming from the drains. I notified management over it and they just ignored me as if they had no clue what I was talking about. Some of the cashiers are rude and one in particular used a racial remark. I don't recommend this store to anyone. read more
