Expressing my deep concern regarding an incident involving my father at his pharmacy. (WALMART St.Augustine) He has been a loyal customer for over 25 years, relying on his medication, specifically Nitro, which is crucial for his heart health. Recently, he encountered an issue with a pharmacy manager named Pauline. Instead of receiving the usual support and understanding, he faced unnecessary confrontation. Her approach not only created undue anxiety for him but also caused significant worry for our entire family. It was distressing to him to see her emphasize her managerial position in such an aggressive rude manner by pointing to her name badge when he asked her simply "Why" all of a sudden he's being given a hard time about his medication ,especially when the matter at hand was so serious his life depends on this medication. I used to love Publix. But now, I can hardly wait for the Walmart to be built near us. When I have to purchase from Publix, I always feel like I've been reamed. They typically charge about a dollar per item more than Walmart. But yesterday, I only picked up 3 items, and the price I paid was nearly $5 more than Walmart prices. The same three items at Walmart would have been $12.59 vs. $17.27 at Publix. Geez!!!! The only way to get a reasonable price on anything at Publix is with their BOGOs, but even that is not enough to make up for their price gouging on regularly priced products. The pharmacist and staff helped me transfer a month of my meds from another store and got me back in business. I found a parking space under a tree in the parking lot between two cars that people were sleeping in with their windows partially rolled down which I found strange but I've heard this is a pretty common practice at Walmart for people that live in their vehicles that I wasn't aware of which is pretty sad. I guess I heard that over-night camping for RV's could be arranged at some Walmarts but didn't realize this service was available for the homeless - so if this is a service they provide it's an honorable gesture of sorts. I walked in and found this store hasn't aged well and if I had to assume that Walmart isn't the company it once was this would be an example of its decline. After looking down a few aisles I found the item I was looking for and proceeded to the self-check registers navigating through a lot of customers who appeared to be roaming the store aimlessly, it was almost as if they were here for the air conditioning, in essence a sanctuary verses a shopping trip. Prior to leaving the store I decided to use the restroom since I still had a few errands to run, this confirmed the lack of investment by Walmart to keep this property a viable asset that provides amenities for their loyal customers, in short it was disgusting and I made a quick U-turn after opening the restroom door the risk wasn't worth the convenience. It's probably been a few years since I visited a brick and mortar Walmart, it's has nothing to do with being pretentious it's just that beside groceries I shop online for most of my purchases so I rarely visit retail businesses for everyday items. I don't know if the condition of this Walmart is the exception or it's an accurate snapshot of how much this company has declined, hopefully this is not a typical representation of their properties but with a company of this magnitude it takes a major capital investment to renovate and update or do simple maintenance. had a very disappointing experience at the St. Augustine Walmart pickup. I arrived to get my order, and the manager on duty, Melissa, brought out my bag. When I checked, I saw I only received 2 items instead of the 6 I had ordered. I showed her my confirmation clearly showing the correct quantity, but she repeatedly insisted it was an "online error" and refused to help in any way, telling me to call the 1-800 number instead of offering any resolution. When I decided to get out of my car to go inside and speak with customer service, she physically leaned against my door and held it closed, preventing me from exiting. I had to ask her several times to please move before she finally stepped aside. Once I got out, she told me I wasn't allowed to park there, even though many other cars were parked in the pickup spots unattended. The whole interaction came across as rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. Rather than trying to resolve a simple issue, she seemed more interested in arguing and asserting control. I had my 2 front tires replaced here. 3 months later I went in to have the rear tires replaced. The "auto experts" here took off the new tires that they themselves had installed and left the old tires on. Truly unbelievable. When I returned to have them fix their mistake they told me there was "nothing they could do" since I didn't catch it earlier. While I was in the waiting room another customer asked that the person working on his car stop and be replaced because of lack of knowledge. This was supposedly their "Senior Mechanic". Yikes! BUYER BEWARE! This store/company lies! I ordered 5 plants (for $170+) that were delivered from a 3rd party vendor last December. TEN MONTHS later they had never grown. They hadn't died either - just looked sick and never got bigger or flowered. I talked to someone at the St Augustine super center customer service about what I could do (online offers a 30 day warranty only but who knows what a plant will do in that short period of time). I was advised that Walmart would honor a one year plant return and I should go into Walmart.com "chat". So on October 12th that is what I did. The "chat person" contacted the vendor and informed me that the company had hung up on him/her. So instead, Walmart.com emailed the vendor and ask that they contact me (even though I told chat that I had already emailed the vendor several times myself with no response). I was also told to file a dispute with my credit card/bank and Walmart would "refund immediately". I did. I also offered the chat person to return the 5 plants to the store so they could see they were no good along with the receipt showing that I purchased 5 replacement plants from Lowes. The chat person told me it would not be necessary - he/she believed me. After a month, I received notification from my credit card company that Walmart REFUSED to refund. I went into chat again and was told the same thing - Walmart.com would contact the company and I needed to give them 48 hours to respond but reassured me Walmart would take care of this problem for me. Again, THE VENDOR NEVER RESPONDED! So, again, I went into Walmart.com chat. This time I was basically told Walmart.com was going to do NOTHING for me!!! I have copies of the chat where I was promised resolution. I spoke with a supervisor in this chat as well. He gave me the same response as the initial chat person. Basically telling me there was nothing that could/would be done - it didn't matter that 4 other people (Walmart customer service, chat x2, & chat x1 supervisor) had previously told me differently. The last time I was in chat both the initial person as well as the supervisor were rude and disrespectful! I will NEVER shop Walmart (store or .com) again. That includes gift cards I send to friends/family for holidays/birthdays. MY WALMART DAYS ARE OVER!!!! There are too many stores that a person can use that are user friendly. This place has horrible customer service and time management. We have been several times to get an oil change every single time they have either told us to come back another time or made us wait over an hour and still did not get seen. They do not care about peoples time or helping people. He totally ignored me and walked away. later I walked in through the front doors of Wal-Mart and headed to the auto shop the lady at the counter said oh are you that person in the blue car from California yes I said, so I gave her my information and sat down in the waiting area I waited for 2 hours for a text message, I never got one, then finally my wife walked up to the counter to ask them how much longer will it be. then after that They refused to service my car because we were from California. read more

I really and mad at myself for going to this store again. I said I'd never go in there. It's just nasty. But I did and here's my last experience... First of all it's dumb that WM doesn't honor their online prices. I was in the store and the shelf price on an air fryer was 199. I looked online and found it for 169. I ordered online standing right in front of the air fryer on the shelf. I had to go home and wait on them to let me know when it was ready to puck up. The email I got said it would be before 8pm that day. It was 7:30pm so i headed that way hoping i would get an email on my way. No, nothing!! I went to Target and bought the same one and they honored WM's online price of 169.00 I got the email at 1am that the order was ready. 1 AM in the damn morning! I went the next day and picked up this order walked straight to the return desk. Target will be my go to store from now on. So inconvenient Walmart!!!!!!! read more

The Walmart is conveniently close to the Chrysler dealership where I get my oil changes and car inspections. This is the best feature. The bathrooms are so-so. The arrangement of items are so so as well. Today, I was alerted that some clothes were clearance and the signs and new price tags were not placed. Score! This was the best highlight of this Walmart. I, also, got some cartridge ink for my printer. I rested at a tiny Subway inside and had a salad. There was not enough table and seats for the traffic and customers there. This may actually be the worst Walmart in America. The pick up/delivery section easily qualifies for that title. My delivery orders never make it to me, the pick up orders always take 45 min or more waiting, and the managers will tell you to just suck it up. This is not isolated to holidays, it has been an on going problem for nearly six months. Ive made multiple complaints to the online customer care call center, to the corporate offices and to the store managers. Nothing ever changes. If this is your store do not make pick up orders. This supercenter always seems busy. From the time you enter the parking lot to when you check out. The parking lot is always packed. You'll be lucky if you get a close spot. This store has a separate liquor store attached to it and a pick-up area for online shoppers. I get frustrated when I go in for certain items and the item is sold out. This happens quite often. There are less and less cashiers working at checkout. This store is pushing self checkout. Customer service has been always friendly and quick when I've had to use them. One stop shopping for all your household needs with fresh produce and bakery items, groceries, clothing, shoes, jewelry, electronic, gardening and automotive departments. Went through the self checkout, item did not scan properly. Store helper had to put in a code and key the item number. Item displayed property, price was wrong. (Overcharged) The displayed price could be seen from the checkout area. Store helper said "I would have to call corporate to fix the price" or not buy the item. Not wanting to give up, I called the main store number, picked the option for associate (0) and optimistically let it ring for five minutes; no answer. So, yeah. Walmart has decent prices. We all love to save money. But Target is getting ALL my money from now on. The other day I overheard a frantic woman telling a CSM that there was a dog locked in a hot car. She asked for them to page the cars owner. This woman repeatedly refused saying, "we are not allowed to do that. I'm sorry there's nothing we can do." So, I said take me out there, I'll break the window. While we were attempting to rescue the dog, the auto center manager came out yelling and arguing with us that it was illegal to touch another persons car. And stood for over 5 minutes arguing over it instead of attempting to go page the owner of the car!!!! I had called 911 and the sheriffs helped rescue the dog. But the way Walmart handled it was absolutely WRONG and their employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. Today I went in to finally get the glasses I needed and was told I couldn't because the dr wasn't in, and they didn't have access to prescriptions without him!!! What!?!?!? Holy f*ck Walmart I'm done. get your shit together. Oh- and wanna buy a kiddie pool sitting out front? One Star is way too generous for this disaster. The St. Augustine Walmart is a new low, even for Walmart's. Where do I start: A. Women's bathroom had feces on the toilets & floors. Odor was toxic. B. Grocery shelves were bare C. Most of the checkouts (self serve or traditional) were closed D. Had a coupon for over $5 and Staff had to call Management to have it approved. Took 10 minutes for Management (and I use that term loosely) to arrive. Poor customers in back of me! The St. Augustine Walmart makes Publix & Target look like gold. I have had previous poor experiences at the St. Augustine Walmart and have twice called 1-800-WALMART to report. I have received calls from their management expressing regret and change. I think this store is one of the older locations, and desperately needs improvement in inventory and floor management. Is it possible to actually find a Walmart location where assistance is provided? I did not think that was even synonymous of the Walmart name, but apparently, it just took leaving Miami to find that. While the crowds here are a bit on the questionable side, they are not nearly as sleazy as the ones you find in the Miami neighborhoods where Walmarts are usually located. At least people aren't walking around in shower caps, pajamas, rollers, and with pants around their knees. The store parking lot was actually not full of trash either, which was impressive but again, maybe my standards have been lowered, a bit much. While visiting this charming city, I encountered a photographer's worst nightmare -- running out of battery while on an out-of-town trip, and remembering that the camera battery charger was left on the kitchen counter back home. I panicked and jumped on Yelp, looking for camera stores. No luck. I tried Radioshack, Target, and again, no luck. Someone even suggested I dump my camera and buy a new one that takes AA or AAA batteries, which can be found anywhere, rather than keeping my lithium-ion equipped camera. What kind of nonsense is this? Luckily, I remembered that Walmart has a decent electronics department, but I was not holding my breath. After all, these batteries are rare, what are the chances of finding a new battery, or a charger, which was my actual intent in coming? The gentleman at the electronics counter was ready to help me immediately, told me he was unsure if he had a charger, but we'd go together to the camera area and check. He was persistent in his quest, which also is a surprise (in Miami, you're lucky if they even look at you, and that is assuming you find anyone on the floor to assist you!). And then...eureka! He found a charger that will charge like 10 different brands and sizes of lithium-ion batteries. This was more than I bargained for, and at the price of $10, I was really blown away. I now have the charger in my travel bag (and it will come handy this weekend when I go out of town again), but I was still wondering if I had stepped into some type of Walmart Twilight Zone, where the employees actually see you, acknowledge you, and help you! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The customer service is absolutely awful at this location. We stood in line for 40 minutes while two women in front of us decided to finish their shopping after they had half their order loaded on the belt and in their cart. While they shopped for the right brand of cheese, we started to complain and the idiot manager Bryan Brainfart refused to do anything about it. He told us we were being rude and apologized to the women holding up the 6 customers behind them. I would give this store lower if I could. I switched from At&t to Straight Talk wireless 6 years ago simply because I travel ALOT for my job. My job requirements include lots of physical movement, so I'm hard on phones. I like the ability to go into any Walmart & be able to quickly replace my phone. I spoke to 3 different electronics employees. 1) was too busy to answer my questions in non-tech 2) tried to help, but she had limited knowledge about the phone technologies 3) was very flippant Of all the 3 (all were around the tech desk) the 2nd rep (who is an older lady), tried to help me the most. This reminded me of why I drive to the 103rd location in Jacksonville, FL, to get help or service for any of my tech purchases or issues. read more
