If you forget something like shaving cream, it's the spot to go. There is a Walgreens across the street, and they didn't have nearly as many items as this location did. Walgreens had the brand I like (Billie) and it was a good deal, $12 for a handle and two disposable blades. I also picked up some soda as well which was 2 for $3.50 for half a liter. That, plus the fact that it's a fairly new location with great parking made this my family's go-to during a beach vacation in Vilano Beach. Beyond what they have in stock, their customer service was great as we were searching for things off a list to stock our vacation rental. Everyone was smiling, friendly, and offering to go above and beyond and lead us to the item versus just saying "Aisle 6." Overall, had everything we needed and bonus- there's a Publix liquor next door!

This contradicted the message I got on their web app four days ago telling me that the Rx would be ready yesterday at noon. I asked why that would occur and the assistant accused me of being rude. This tack was also attempted by the pharmacist to whom I was transferred after a 5-minute hold. All I wanted was an acknowledgment that they had made a mistake and an apology. No such luck. The pharmacist, Tom (who refused to supply his last name) told me that he had called my doctor's office and gotten my Rx canceled. He explained that this was standard procedure with 'out of control' customers requesting a controlled substance. Nevermind the fact that I have not used this medication in over two years. I would be more forgiving if this were the first screw up by this pharmacy. It is, however, the SIXTH time I was given the information that a prescription was ready only to find out that it wasn't. Save your time. Avoid frustration. Stay away from Walgreen's, a company that can't take criticism.

I have been making extra trips to get my medication in Jacksonville, because I thought it would be complex due to my type of medication, but I truly believe this was also because I was so used to my CVS team in JAX. Now, I have met new friends at this CVS location and I am looking forward to the continued support of the excellent staff that CVS offers in their stores. Inside this store is your typical CVS layout. One main walkway down the middle with short aisles to either side. There is also a pharmacy in the back. The registers were actually overstuffed in my opinion with three people working a short line. The clerks were older and very friendly throughout my brief checkout process.
