This particular 7-Eleven has a decent location and is relatively competitively priced. It is not small by any means, but I guess I have become used to seeing these super huge gas station with a hundred gas pumps, so it looked a little small to me. It is amazing how the world keeps getting bigger and we cannot accept what was once the norm. Once Upon a time gas stations closed at 10 p.m., now we demand that everything be open 24 hours a day. I haven't been in a 7-Eleven in years; they use to be on every block in Florida, but have been taken over by other big chain convenience stores. I dropped by this location the other day to grab a couple of things on the way to the gym. The attendant was very nice and the store was in decent shape. read more

On a road trip from Charleston, SC to Orlando. Driving 3.5 hours when we decided it was time for a pit stop. We wanted slurpees and came in here just for that. We ended up getting gas and using the restrooms. Restrooms were nice and clean. The slurpee machine was working on all 6 flavors which seems rare for a 7-11. We were getting our drinks when an employee came up and gave my daughter a balloon. She is one and loves balloons. She was a happy camper after that. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. LOL. My pregnant wife and I came here for icy hot and ice cream. What a combo right? There was a promo for 2/$5 ice cream! Man, we're feelin lucky right?! Went to ring up, had some hankerings so by this time we've got sunflower seeds, icees, icy hot, ice cream, ya know, the works. We checkout and the ice cream rings up $4 a piece so I was like, "hey there, is the ice cream not 2 for 5?" And the Indian cashier woman just said no. So I said huh okay one second and went to put one back, but I saw the sign again so I took a pic and was like hey maam is there rewards code or something I need to get this? It's posted right there...and she muttered for a few minutes and then just said "I'm not selling you this anymore." And literally turned around and threw it in the trash can. I was a bit stunned. And silent. And she angrily said do you want this other stuff or not? I'm not selling you the ice cream products. So we laughed, and thanked her for being so kind, and left and went to Walgreens. Best Wings in Jax!! These wings were a pleasant surprise as the juice dripped down off of my chin. The succulent bites of chicken brought joy to my heart. The ranch was heavenly and the meat was tender and plump. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who gets gas and needs a quick bite. My friend Lexi lives nearby and she keeps going back for more. Watch out. I just purchased two Shamrock Vanilla Rockin' Protien Shakes. The price displayed on the shelf in the cooler was $2.29 each. When I paid, I was charged $2.69 each. I realized this when I was outside and went back in. The clerk had someone check the shelf price. He said, "They changed the price." No sorry or anything related to customer service. He went to the register and gave me 60 cents. I told him the difference was 80 cents plus tax. He said it wasn't. I counted it out for him. He reached into the register and gave me the difference dropping a few coins on the floor. Again, no "Sorry about that." Was this an honest mistake? Could be but who knows. The attitude is what will keep me from ever going back into that 7-11 again. read more

I grew up out west, so 7-11 was a huge part of my childhood. So when I saw that one was opening up in the area pretty close to home I was somewhat excited just for the nostalgia factor alone. I've come here from time to time to get gas or pick up soda and the store is pretty well maintained. It's still pretty new (about a year or so I think) so it's not bad. New crew has to learn professionalism. Not wanting to get anyone in trouble, so I will not call out any descriptions. Just thought that based on my most recent visits, a review is due. Lately, my visits to this 7-11 have been filled with hearing the staff hold conversations with one another and take their time to get customers processed. It's ok to talk I guess, but yesterday's visit was insane! There was one person in line in front of me. Instead of the clerk ring the guy up, he stopped to hold a conversation with another coworker, who was all the way at the employee entrance of the cooler. The conversation seemed to take forever. I wanted to say something, but didn't want to be rude. I really miss the former employees. I have lived 4 minutes from this store for the past year. There's always new employees and super slow service. During the day, there's usually a line of 4 or more. The same cashiers have to prepare/get food with others waiting. Tonight, the employees had unfiltered music playing. Very disappointed! read more

the bathroom door was locked for the mens restroom and the ladies restroom was blocked by stuff i know it isn't the staffs fault that the restroom was locked by somebody but they could have not put stuff in front of the ladies restroom but other than this i love 7-11 read more

This is my neighborhood 7/11 and I go here more than 3 times a week and never had any customer service issues until today. Pumping my gas at the pump and noticed the grade of gas I did not select is pumping, I immediately stop pumping gas 1 because my car can not take 93 and also the more expensive gas. Went inside to tell clerk my issue and he began to yell at me and tell me it's not his problem and I couldn't get my money back. But the catch is I was never upset in the first place I just wanted to let them know the pump was not working. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. The whole store watched as he yelled at me and treated me poorly. I normally spend $40 a trip in gas and maybe a snack. I will never spend another dime at this 7/11. Hello, I just went to pump gas at the 7-11 on St. Augustine Road and Kenan Drive in Jacksonville, FL 32258. I chose the regular unleaded option for $2.54/gallon. When I was done pumping gas, I noticed the total amount was higher than usual for me filling up my gas tank. I printed out the receipt and noticed that I was charged for the premium gas rate of $3.14/gallon. What I expected to be roughly a $35 gas stop ended up being $46 dollars with the over charged rate. I went in and spoke to an employee who was very helpful. (she was a blond haired older lady). She went out with me to check and see that I was correct; she went in to tell the manager, who wouldn't even come out of the office at first to look. He then didn't believe me or his employee, and walked out with me. Even after I put more gas in my car and showed him that the pump was over-charging for regular gas, he said there was nothing he could do. I asked for a refund of the difference or if there was anything he could do for me, and he said no. That is unacceptable customer service and I will never go back to 7-11 for anything. At first, I wasn't upset and just wanted to let them know that the pump was overcharging people for the gas. But then for the manager to not believe me, or his employee who came out to look, was embarrassing. It frustrated me even more when the manager saw for himself that it was incorrect and just told me there was nothing he could do about it. read more
